Oops time for a new thread. Hope you all find it okay Grin

@lydiangel83 I'm nearly 26 weeks, it was probably 20ish weeks when it improved because I remember I first felt baby move at 18 weeks and I was sleeping in the spare room because I was so fidgety and frustrated that night so it was after 18 weeks!

@Jessiecat27 I did feel guilty but not anymore, you've got to look after yourself, xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 08:15

@Jessiecat27 I'm off work at the moment and feel so so poorly! I feel guilty all the time about it!

On another note I wish this bloating would go down! Only 6+3 but hopefully have a confirmed date at midwifes on Tuesday!

Jessiecat27 · 01/06/2017 08:21

Some people in work are really understanding and then you get the odd 'pregnancy isn't an illness' well no it's not but if I'm in a lot of pain what am I supposed to do?! I struggled on Tuesday all day nearly in tears in work and I think one of the managers genuinely felt sorry for me, at least I've already explained to them.
Oh the bloating is great isn't it! My oh was asking why I hadn't took any bump pictures yet and I said because I can't tell whether mine is a bump or because I'm already a bit flabby Blush I just want to pop properly now!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 08:24

Same some people are really understanding at my place and then others couldn't give two hoots and think I should be there still. I've literally got no energy to do anything really never mind being sick and feeling sick 😩

Jessiecat27 · 01/06/2017 08:35

@victoriaaaaaaaa it's really frustrating! I'm trying to think of it as 'me and baby come first' but we're a bit short staffed this week because of holidays. Hope you're feeling better soon! The sickness still sometimes creeps up on me but nowhere near as much thankfully!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 08:48

I've got a doctors appointment today to see if I can get any anti nausea tablets or anything because I physically haven't got the energy

Jessiecat27 · 01/06/2017 08:51

Hopefully they can give you something! It gets a little easier when the sickness stops! Are you taking iron as well? I don't think it's doing much for me though!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 09:18

No I was only told to take vitamin d and folic acid

Icantthinkofastupidname · 01/06/2017 09:38

I'm 6 weeks today and my episodes of quease seem to be getting more frequent. Oddly I really struggle with brushing my teeth, makes me dry retch :(.

Still pretty bloated but the windy cramps are easing.

Got my first midwife appointment on Monday 19th and just booked a private early scan for the same day :)

Jessiecat27 · 01/06/2017 09:42

Ohh okay! Mine happened to have iron in anyway so they said to carry on with that. Don't think it's making much of a difference anyway but I've not really read up on vitamins!

lydiangel83 · 01/06/2017 09:42

Just stood talking to a bloke at work and he was definitely looking at my belly but too polite to ask lol.

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I wouldn't take iron unless you need it as quite hrs on your stomach

@Jessiecat27 I'm the same at work some people lovely and some just rude :-/

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 16:35

Sat at doctors and they've been delayed 30 mins well for the doctor I'm seeing anyway! Doctors are always behind :(

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 17:10

Been given a sick note and tablets! Only wanted tablets but insisted I needed to rest and needed the time off

LucyLugosi · 01/06/2017 17:13

Hi everyone
I'm currently 5+4, and just need to know how you make it through early pregnancy!
I'm so terrified of it just disappearing :(
I had a scan at the EPAC yesterday because I'd had some bleeding, which showed everything looking normal but too early for fetal pole.

This did make me feel better because at least now someone official has told me I'm pregnant and it's real, but I'm still scared all the time that I'll wake up one day and it'll be gone.

I have no idea how I'm going to make it to week 12 :(

Anyone else feeling like this?

ew1990 · 01/06/2017 17:13

@Victoriaaaaaaaa mine was like that the other day, insisted I took 2 weeks we settled on 1, now today first day back I should've said 2 lol xx

ew1990 · 01/06/2017 17:14

@LucyLugosi every single one of us went through this, you just have to take each day as it comes, 12 weeks will soon be here xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 17:33

@ew1990 I feel so bad for work though and I know they can't discipline me but I'm scared they'll try or something.

Sick notendoes say 'pregnancy related problems'

ew1990 · 01/06/2017 17:40

They can't do anything, don't worry, they've never seen one of my sicknotes because you don't need on for the first 3 days and I work 3 days a week, i have to ring a number to report sicknesses and when I said to them doctors give me a sick note for pregnancy lethargy they stopped asking questions xx

Jessiecat27 · 01/06/2017 17:41

LucyLugosi I don't think it goes away! It's easier once you're past 12 weeks so just try to occupy yourself until then, I know it's not easy!

Squigglefish · 01/06/2017 17:49

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I was given cyclizine, it helped me son so much. I was off work and lost 6kgs in a week. I had bloodshot eyes from being sick. Those let me eat and function again. I only took one a day on a bad day and powered through. I'd still get nausea and sick occasionally but I put weight on and baby measured perfect fine. I'm 18weeks now xx

Squigglefish · 01/06/2017 17:50

So so, not son lol

lydiangel83 · 01/06/2017 17:53

I've been really stressed at work and going to get worse next few weeks. Worried about damage to baby not least because of increased heart rate and lack of sleep.

Wondering if it's something I can go to doctors about? My boss is in USA and people I work wth Day to day are not particularly supportive :-/

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 01/06/2017 18:23

I'm really fancying old El Paso fajitas tonight! Got to be the roasted tomatoes and peppers!

ew1990 · 01/06/2017 18:32

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I want fajitas now!!

@lydiangel83 I feel you, work got too much for me with doing 12 and half hour shifts, spoke to my new boss and they've changed my hours from 3 days to 4 which is more days but I do 8:30 till 5:30 now instead of 7-7:30 xxx

ew1990 · 01/06/2017 18:34

@lydiangel83 and I would see your doctor, on my sick note there was certain recommendations and one of them was about reduced hours and if they think you benefit from it they tick that box xx
