@peachgreen hand holding back to you too. Hope everything goes ok for you

CharlieWeasley · 22/06/2017 21:40

Thanks WLMcl. Scan is tomorrow so at least then I'll know. At least this time I'm so far along that it'll be a yes or no, rather than being in limbo.
Scan is in the morning and have booked all day off work as however it goes I won't feel like going back.
Fingers crossed for everyone with appts tomorrow.

JCleRoux · 22/06/2017 21:42

Just catching up on the thread…

@yellowfrontdoor so pleased that your scan went well. Hoping you are still feeling reassured.

Hi @mogulfield and I am so sorry about your previous MCs.

@peachgreen I am so sorry you have been battling with some discharge. I am crossing all fingers and toes that baby is still snuggly in there. Am here for a hand hold and sending some positive thoughts and loads of hugs

@CharlierWesley also hand hold for your scan tomorrow. Hope it all goes well. Have you done your booking appointment yet?

Hi @Brenna24. Gosh you have really been through the wringer. I am so sorry for all your losses.

Glad you are doing ok @AmyB1968 and that you are at a point that you are planning for the baby. 17 weeks!

Fingers crossed for you @Saz626 for tomorrow. I hope it’s a case of getting your dates wrong and get some good news about the pregnancy hormones going up.

mogulfield · 22/06/2017 22:57

Thanks for the welcome Smile it's nice to be able to chat on here, I can't talk to friends about it and my DH just tells me 'not to worry'.
Brenna I did fly once with my successful pregnancy so that does help. Doctor also reassured me stress does not cause MC so I need to just be logical! Good point about the refugees they'd have been through some terrible conditions and often give birth to healthy kids (thank goodness).
Fingers crossed for us! It's going to be a long wait till the 12 week scan... to add some additional worry the doctor says I'm nearly 8 weeks but I know I ovulated very late... I just don't want the scan to say development isn't as it should be!

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 06:45

Hi.... may I very, very tentatively join? It's super early days for me (as in, I'm not quite 4 weeks, but I have v. Short cycles). I don't want to keep pestering the ttc board with my fears! Had a positive hpt on Wednesday, followed by a day and a half of pink spotting. I was convinced it was all over before it had really even begun. But it seems to have eased over the past 18 hours or so.

I had a mmc found at my 12 week scan at the end of March. Literally no indication that baby had died around 9+4 (plenty of nausea and vomiting way past that point, no spotting at all).

I will try to get a bit caught up. Lovely to see some familiar names! Really hope I can stay with you guys for the next 9 months!!

Miami81 · 23/06/2017 07:55

Waves to dancing. Welcome. We all understand the way you are feeling. Just remember there is much more chance of things going well then not. Stay strong.
Good luck all with scans today. Fingers crossed for you.

Hazandduck · 23/06/2017 08:21

Welcome brenna and dancing and sorry if I have missed anyone, just catching up!

@Dancing I'm sorry for your loss. These early weeks are the hardest! I only got through by keeping myself busy, reading lots, not being too focused on reality and kind of ignoring what was happening.

@Brenna I was a quiet observer on the TTC board and remember your name. It sounds like you've been through a lot. Will cross everything that this pregnancy goes smoothly for you x

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 08:43

Thanks for the welcome! Still not sure I really believe it! I'm also a lot more excited and optimistic than I expected to be, which is nice!

Good luck to those with scans/getting results today.

CharlieWeasley · 23/06/2017 09:20

JCLeRoux yeah booked in a few weeks ago. 12 weeks today but think I ovulated late so if all is ok, I would expect to be put back a bit. Should be over 11 weeks though so nuchal should be doable. Will know in a few hours - at least it's this morning and I don't have to wait around all day!

Brenna24 · 23/06/2017 09:25

Thining of peach and saz today. And Charlie too.

Hi Miami and Haz I remember you both too.

Tentative welcome Dancing. I hope you are with us for a long time to come.

AmyB1986 · 23/06/2017 10:37

Morning everyone... welcome to any new ladies here too!

Dd2 is off school feeling poorly poor thing so I'm on nurse duties at home this morning then work this afternoon.
Spd has started to rear its ugly head for me too. Starting as groin pain and a feeling like something is stretching my pubic bone apart. Not mega painful at the min but uncomfortable when I'm walking.
Baby is also vibrating today, not sure what she's doing in there but it feels really weird. It's a bit like a muscle spasm but it's definitely the baby and not my muscles. Has anyone else experienced this?

Saz626 · 23/06/2017 12:13

Finally got my bloods back just now and my hcg has more then doubled in the 48 hours which means my pregnancy is progressing, I must just be earlier then I thought. Roll on 3rd July now for my scan and hopefully I should be 7 weeks 😀😀

JCleRoux · 23/06/2017 12:14

Thinking of you @peachgreen. Hope everything goes well with the scan.

Great news @Saz626! What a relief!

Brenna24 · 23/06/2017 12:22

Fantastic news Saz

CharlieWeasley · 23/06/2017 12:46

Ladies, there is a baby in there! With a heartbeat and everything. Turns out I know bugger all about ovulation as was convinced I'd ovulated late, but actually am 3 days ahead. So 12+3 today Grin

Congratulation Saz

Brenna24 · 23/06/2017 12:49

Yaya Charlie. That is amazing.

Just peach to check in now. Fingers crossed for her.

peachgreen · 23/06/2017 13:12

Thanks all so much for thinking of me! Baby is still there, has a heartbeat and is measuring 8+5 - I think I should be 8+6 but she said a day is nothing to worry about (I'm still a bit worried because slow growth was what happened before my MMC but I think I'm being paranoid!). So relieved. They couldn't find a cause for the bleeding but I'm going to get them to check my cervix at my booking in appointment.

It was an external scan which was a bit gutting as I've had internals before and they're so reassuringly clear whereas this was just a blob with a bit of a flicker! But ultimately such a relief to know everything is pretty much going as it should.

Thank you for all your support and hand-holds! I don't know what I'd do without you ladies.

peachgreen · 23/06/2017 13:13

Saz, Charlie, so delighted for you both. Phew. A good day on this thread!

Saz626 · 23/06/2017 13:19

@peachgreen and @charlieweasley brilliant news for you both too! What a great way for us to start the weekend ❤️

WLMcI · 23/06/2017 13:39

Fantastic news CharlieWeasley, peachgreen and Saz!

Waving at you DancingUnicorn, pleased for you getting your BFP! Now for the interminable first trimester--but we all know what it's like, so here is a good place to be. Smile

13 weeks here, and still rolling on smoothly as far as I can tell. For those of you with first babies and maybe further along, there's an absolute gold mine of a thread on the homepage today about best baby buys! I wrote some stuff down for later as I can never remember recommendations when I actually need them. I won't buy anything for ages yet of course. Not a bad way to spend a nauseous/headachey morning off!

DancingUnicorn · 23/06/2017 13:44

Brilliant news from everyone. So glad to hear things are going as they should be.

I've had a tiny bit more spotting today. But I'm also starting to feel very sick... which I'm hoping is a good thing. Trying to just stay calm and hope for the best because there is absolutely nothing I can do to effect any change... (of course if anything can help, please tell me!!!)

CharlieWeasley · 23/06/2017 13:45

Peach that's great news. Excellent day all round!

oliversmummy26 · 23/06/2017 13:50

Afternoon ladies, I've dropped off the thread for a little while, but thought I'd just check in with a little update.

I'm 28+5 today, and diagnosed with gestational diabetes this week which is a bit of a bugger, but means I get more scans and extra care, which can only be a good thing. Just no sugar for me now until after baby's born Sad

Other than that all good, no bleeding since 19ish weeks and baby moving loads now. He's very good at reminding me that it's time to eat as he starts kicking around mealtimes!

The GD means it will probably be easier for me to get the ELCS I want as they won't want me to go over dates incase of a large baby. So looking at baby arriving week beginning 4th September, which is really only about 10 weeks off!

Anyway, hope you're all well and coping with the heat? Who's due their baby next, does anyone know?

Brenna24 · 23/06/2017 17:55

Great news Peach

Sorry about the GD oliver

NoParticularPattern · 23/06/2017 18:24

So I'm now absolutely bricking it. Just nipped to the loo to see some pinkish red staining on the tissue. On the second wipe there was a huge amount of mucus mixed with blood. Well I say huge, it covered the piece of loo roll I was using. Definitely from my vagina rather than anywhere else. It looked rather a lot like the images you get up on Google if you search for mucus plug or bloody show. Kind of really thick and almost lumpy with bloody streaks through it.

Absolutely crapping myself now but typically everything will now be closed until after the weekend so not a lot I can do anyway I guess! Just need a handhold I suppose.
