Emvy giving you a very unmumsnetty hug right now x

Sweetyboo · 16/06/2017 11:50

Brown blood is still coming 😑😒dont knw what to do but also got bad back ache & leg hurting. My leg use to hurt when i use to get period.

TheLegendOfBeans · 16/06/2017 11:59

Ach emvy I was really hoping it'd all be ok. I'm so sorry my love x

NoParticularPattern · 16/06/2017 12:37

I'm pleased you don't need surgery or anything emvy but I know how shit a time this is. Wishing you a speedy recovery Flowers

sweety has your midwife given you any advice with regard to the bleeding? I know they couldn't see anything that could have caused it on the scan, but have you had an examination of any description to check for cervical ectropion etc? Might it be worth giving them a ring and explaining that it doesn't seem to be clearing up? I remember I had a cervical ectropion with my MC and they said that was likely the cause of the brown blood I was seeing. Fingers crossed for you.

I've just moved a few animals round at home and now feeling fully pooped. Need to eat something then have a nap I think!!

Hazandduck · 16/06/2017 16:58

Sweety each time I've been pregnant I've felt the same symptoms as a period. The symptoms can be so similar. I still kind of feel like that now at nearly 19 weeks, just heavy, a bit grouchy, no energy. I felt like it with my miscarriages too. It doesn't always mean bad news, and the fact baby looked well on the scan is a big positive x

NoParticularPattern · 16/06/2017 17:16

Also yes sweety I also feel very period-y. I've got backache, no energy and I will cry at pretty much anything for absolutely any reason. I think it's important to remember that your uterus is stretching and expanding massively every single day, so the same areas that feel tender during your period are probably also going to feel sore and crampy during pregnancy. Suppose it's the same as how I always get a dodgy tummy when I'm on- same area, same ouchy bits so only normal!

Sweetyboo · 16/06/2017 18:43

Thank you @NoParticularPattern @Hazandduck ladies for the advice. Nop midwife didnt said anything when went fif scan that lady said it cud ve that blood was trap there when u conceived & it cane out & brown blood is good it mean thats old thats all she said. And i said baby ok coz brown blood not going she said dont worry abut it coz in scan everything i looked at is perfect so dont worry. Im still spotting so i dont knw now

NoParticularPattern · 16/06/2017 18:58

I have a new worry!! My boobs feel massive this week- what the chuff do I do if they now won't fit into my damned wedding dress in 4 weeks?!?! Also considering the fact that I've only managed to stomach carbs for the last week, there's every chance I won't fit into the dress at all Blush

JCleRoux · 16/06/2017 20:47

Oh dear @NoParticularPattern! At least you've got four weeks to make a plan. Can you alter the dress and let it out? Are you having it made and can have a final fitting a day or two before the wedding?

PTphonehome · 16/06/2017 23:34

Just catching up on everyone, so sorry so many of you are having such a worrying time x

Miami im so happy things are all good with you.

I'm now 18+4 and we know it's a baby girl, I'm slowly starting to calm down and belive this might actually happen.

WLMcI · 16/06/2017 23:36

Emvy I'm so sorry. I hope to see you back on this thread again soon! Flowers

Great scan news Sweetyboo!

I had my 12 week scan and booking in appointment today! Everything is perfect, baby measures 11+6 and was sleeping with arms flung out and legs crossed! It was so amazing to see the little body really starting to look like a human (well, kind of...) and the heartbeat fluttering away. So DH and I are in love with baby now, which is awesome and also scary. Due date of 28 December Smile X

AmyB1986 · 17/06/2017 00:25

@emvy so sorry hun, take care of yourself and hope to see you back here soon Flowers

Hope everyone else is doing ok and brill news on positive scans.

21+2 now. Had an antenatal appointment yesterday, pointless really. They just wanted to discuss coming back at 34 weeks to book in for my csection which could have been done over the phone! Never mind.
Last night at some point half of one of my wisdom teeth snapped during the night and I swallowed it, it was really giving me a lot of pain but since it's snapped it's gone! No pain at all, dentist will not touch it either until after baby is born so if it kicks off hurting again I'll have to live on paracetamol.
Also I can't sleep. I'll drop off then wake up every 2-3 hours for no reason, maybe once to wee. Thinking maybe I should invest in a pregnancy pillow now.
Dd2 came into our bedroom this morning to give DH a kiss. When I got up she said 'mummy your tummy was so big when I looked at it this morning, it was nearly touching the ceiling light!' Bump has seriously popped out overnight, I feel like a whale already.

AmyB1986 · 17/06/2017 00:26

22+2 not 21+2 jeez I can't even get my dates right

yellowfrontdoor · 17/06/2017 08:12

WLMcl congratulations on your scan!

I have an issue, not sure if anyone else has this. The day before my mc I bought a summer dress, and I was wearing it when I mc. I put it up out of sight but... I really like the dress! I'm just not sure I can bring myself to put it on Sad. There's other things too, I keep my hpt on show as my little talismans, I hate reaching up into cupboards because that's what kicked it off last time.
Anybody else get like this over silly things?!

Sweetyboo · 17/06/2017 09:57

Great scan @WLMcI xx

theotherendofthesockportal · 17/06/2017 10:46

@yellowfrontdoor I'm not usually superstitious about things but I have been worried about jinxing things in this pregnancy. Tried to do everything different from last time although I do know that I could have done nothing to change what happened.

I changed this earlier in the week and went to a spa, which I was supposed to go to the day I started miscarrying in January. Doing that has made me feel much happier and has given me less things to stress about.

Put your dress on and enjoy the sunshine. Maybe don't stretch to reach into the cupboard though - just do what feels right for you.

TheLegendOfBeans · 17/06/2017 11:59

Whilst this pregnancy is much less hard in the respect of not feeling pukey or massively crap, being 22weeks gone and still being utterly exhausted all the time means I'm really really struggling with DD who's a 16mo energy ball.

We just moved to a different country, DH is absolutely hell bent on basically getting all the DIY done in a one-ner and it can't be done with a toddler running round. So I'm having to take her out all the time and yes the playpark is great but she's insistent on doing stuff that I have to intervene. I can't get 5 mins to stuff a coffee and a muffin in me.

I don't know why I'm even writing this sympathy reach I suppose but I'm just utterly dead beat and starting to feel like I've got no batteries left to be a nice mum to DD and a functioning human being to DH.

And I want to just cry and cry and cry my (overblown and permanently roasting) tits off.

Sweetyboo · 17/06/2017 18:17

Brown blood not stopping still there😵 keep wearing pads. Start to worry me a bit i dont think i can go on 8 more weeks for my scan might request another one before that as its too good to be true that all going well

AmyB1986 · 17/06/2017 20:40

How's everyone doing in this heat?
I've just got back from work and feel totally drained, heads pounding and my hands and feet have swelled up like balloons!

@Sweetyboo how long has the spotting been going for now and did they give you a possible cause for it before? I had some brown with dd2 and it was coming from an ectropian on my cervix

yellowfrontdoor · 18/06/2017 08:47

@theotherendofthesockportal I'm wearing the dress.
It wasn't the dress that caused my mc, it wasn't reaching up (baby probs stopped developing at 8 weeks; two weeks before), it wasn't me putting my hpt away.
Time to stop the superstitions, which are not like me at all.

theotherendofthesockportal · 18/06/2017 09:32

@yellowfrontdoor so proud of you! I hope you find the dress comfortable in this heat. My last pregnancy also ended at 8 weeks but I didn't miscarry until 13 weeks.

My first task this morning is to practice being a mummy by cleaning up some cat sick, poor thing must have got too hot in the night and had chucked up over my sofa.

Anyway else finding it hard to sleep in the heat?

Sweetyboo · 18/06/2017 20:15

@yellowfrontdoor @theotherendofthesockportal my last mc was 8w too no heart beat. Anyway good luck ladies. I hope we all go till end all fine & this all will be just a nightmare that we left in past

Sweetyboo · 18/06/2017 20:18

@AmyB1986 i had a runny few hour pinky bleeding on the wed morning that stoped in 2 hours & since i was getting brown bleed. Today its alot settled. Just few spots. Been for my 12w scan on thu & all was fine. She said dont worry abut bleeding or brown its a good sign thats a old blood that coming out its good its out. She did not gave me reason for it just said when i conceived that blood got traped & thats what came out weird but thats all she said. Ive mention this be4 aswell. I hope today is the last of it🤞🏼

AmyB1986 · 18/06/2017 22:30

@Sweetyboo hope it stops soon. Must be really worrying for you. Glad the scan was good though 😊

The heat is really getting to me. I've had a dodgy stomach all day. Really painful stomach cramps, feeling sick and tmi diarrhoea. It suddenly came on after I had lunch and thought I was going to pass out. Feel much better now it's cooled down a bit though.
Baby is kicking me a lot today too, she's literally not stopped wiggling. Still in disbelief. Wondering when it will actually start to feel real

peachgreen · 18/06/2017 23:10

Really feeling for you ladies who are further along in this heat. I'm only 8+1 but it's making my nausea soooo much worse.
