Great news re the two sets of DCDA twins that must be something of a relief for you both.
To those in that in between stage from 12 to 20 weeks, sympathies. There's not much going on, and until movements start and become regular and reliable it's hard to believe all is ok. Nothing will remove the doubt in your head, but when you get those thoughts I found it helpful to concentrate on the here and now and the evidence you have I.e none that there is anything wrong.
I ended up at maternity assessment on Sunday morning as the amniotic fluid I'm losing changed from clear to pink/blood stained. They got in a slight panic as they initially thought baby's heart rate was same as mine (I was quite calm about this as it had been moving about so much so didn't believe it could be really struggling). Anyway when they actually found it it was fine and they weren't too bothered about pink fluid. However one of my blood tests for infection was up slightly. They let me home Sunday afternoon and I have to check my temp 4 times daily, and had bloods repeated yesterday and seeing consultant/scan today.
Also re-evaluating my work plans. Currently 28 weeks. Phoned in sick for this week, then I have 2 weeks annual leave which will take me to 31 weeks. My plan had been to go to 35. I'll see what they say today but will almost definitely bring it forward, or even not go back. It does have an impact at the other end in terms of childcare for my DS next summer hols.
Anyway, have a good Wednesday everyone. Hope you are all getting a chance to enjoy the weather a little too.
