Loulee · 21/10/2007 23:22

i'll try to make thurs, just depends on time as i have to collect dd1 at 11.45 (so would have to leave at 11.15) - may be a bit tight - or I could come over after.....have we a time arranged? what suits everyone else??

WO - very impressed with your dd's diet

spookthief · 21/10/2007 23:27

I quite fancy your dd's menu WO!

Should be ok for Thursday. Do we have a time? Kelvingrove opens at 10.30 I think.

midnightexpressmwahaha · 22/10/2007 09:41

Yum WO, can I come to yours for tea?

I'm good for Thurs morning, anytime. I'll need to leave by about 12 to fetch ds1, so 10.30 would be good for me. Shall we go to upstairs cafe or downstairs one?

DS2 slept till 5.15 this morning! I'm starting to feel vaguely human again.

midnightexpressmwahaha · 22/10/2007 09:42

Meaant to say, have a great trip Tallulah if you get this before you go. Will you be online in Oz?

TALLULAHSPELL · 22/10/2007 10:25

Hi - just popping in to say byeeeee!!!

Not sure when I'll get near a computer but will try to check in every now & then.

Enjoy meetup on 25th - am a bit but then again there is that beach to think of .

Do i need to leave my e-mail address, or can 1 ov you get it? I will check this thread 2morrow

midnightexpressmwahaha · 23/10/2007 09:30

Any new babies yet? Dalrymps, lunachick?

ps32 - I think we're meeting up this Thursday (25th) in the morning at Kelvingrove museum. 10.30, ladies? Keep checking the thread if you can for details. Hope to see you there.

Loulee · 23/10/2007 11:44

i'm up for it. where should we meet? should recognise some of you, but if i'm there 1st (unlikely i know) i will have dd2 in a yellow mac and ds1 has a big bruise on his face! we are unmissable! hopefully see you all then. Lx

my2weegirls · 23/10/2007 12:30

hello - everyone. I posted on here ages ago and then never came back! DD2 is now 11 weeks old and so far is a content wee thing - her sleep is not too bad (she's been doing better than her big sister!). she tends to go to sleep at 8pmish then up at 2am then back to sleep till after 6am.

DD1 has been a handful and we've had lots of attention seeking behhaviour - but i'm really hoping that we've turned a corner now (fingers crossed!!).

I can't find who it was that was asking but I had both of mine in Stirling and generally both were good experiences - staff are supportive and friendly. 2nd time i couldn't wait to get home and was on a 6hr discharge but ended up having to stay overnight as feeding wasn't sorted out - so wasn't too happy about that but was probably for the best.

midnightexpressmwahaha · 23/10/2007 14:01

Oh dear Loulee - if it's any consolation, ds1 has just fallen down the stairs (1 step, but stone ) and given himself an almighty great bump to the forehead. What happened to ds?

See you Thursday. Shall we meet in the downstairs cafe at 10.30? I'll just have ds2, in the p&t red buggy and will be mainlining caffeine in a quiet corner somewhere.

Loulee · 23/10/2007 16:59

downstairs cafe sounds good to me - so long as there's not too many of us - else we may be better upstairs?
I'm going to aim for 10am and have another wander round the kylie exhibition with dd before coming to the cafe. I'm a sucker for those costumes and dd loves the music!

who else is coming?

I'll squeeze in a coffee before running to get dd1 - definitely caffeinated!!

the bump - god - dd2 squeezed and head-butted ds in one go - and has managed to bruise him in such a way that he's now got a haematoma under the skin - it's been there nearly 2 months now and we're just willing it to go away on it's own.

glad the sleeps not too bad my2weegirls - my ds is about the same age as yours and for now (touch wood) is sleeping like a dream. Long may it continue!!

weepotion · 23/10/2007 19:39

hi folks! - i am not sure who all is coming on friday but there should be maybe 4 / 5 of us? i will aim to be there ofr 10ish and hows about we start off downstairs.

midnightexpressmwahaha · 23/10/2007 20:25

ps32 · 23/10/2007 21:44

weepotion · 23/10/2007 21:51

great ps32 - check out some of our profiles for pics but we will keep an eye out for you. look out for a crowd with buggies and babies!

midnight - i knew it was thursday - addled brian said friday. hows the sleeping going??

midnightexpressmwahaha · 24/10/2007 08:32

ps32, had a look at your pic on your profile so will keep a look out for you. Will you have ds with you?

WO - sleeping going pretty well thanks - 4.45 last night - yeay. So much better than it was anyway, and only one feed a night instead of the all-night milk bar.

Anyone else coming tomorrow? GMM - haven't seen you around on here for a while, and where's Anjo got to? Trixy - are you coming?

midnightexpressmwahaha · 24/10/2007 08:35

btw, didn't bookthief say that the museum only opens at 10.30? Hang on a minute, I'll google and see...

10am opening. Don't know if I can face Kylie's hotpants though Loulee. So very tiny.

trixyortreatmalixy · 24/10/2007 10:52

I'm coming along tomorrow.

Does anyone know what the parking's like at Kelvingrove?

I'm going to have to do something about DS' sleeping, he's got a definite feed to sleep association.

I gave him a bottle of EBM when he woke at 1.30 last night and he drank most of it, but refused the last bit and wouldn't let me put the dummy in his mouth and cried until I bf him.

He then didn't wake until 6am which wasn't too bad I suppose.

Will need to get some tips from you tomorrow Midnight and Loulee.

midnightexpressmwahaha · 24/10/2007 11:24

There's a car park at the back of the museum Trixy - not sure how busy it gets during the week, maybe OK now the schools have gone back? Otherwise, there are meters on Kelvin Way, but I think quite busy during the day there.

lunachick9 · 24/10/2007 11:48

No babies here yet so it looks like my section is definitely on for tomorrow. So while you're all sitting drinking coffee I'll be sitting in the QM waiting to meet my babies!

Have a lovely time everyone and hope to meet you all soon.

spookthief · 24/10/2007 12:02

Trixy - I think you'll be ok with the car park at KG as it doesn't seem to be used as an overspill for the hospital like everywhere else around here. If it is busy, you can sometimes get parked at the Transport Museum across the road.

Liath, if you're still thinking about coming, you would come off the M8 at junction 19 (follow signs for SECC/Clydebank) and then follow the signs for Finnieston and Yorkhill Hospitals/Western Infirmary. Once you come off the motorway you should be there in about 10 mins depending on traffic.

spookthief · 24/10/2007 12:04

Hope all goes well tomorrow lunachick!
