Hiya,

yes have been a bit quite recently, no reason, just got nothing very interesting to say! I have been reading the threads so and trying to keep up with everyone.

I too am eating like a sheep, constantly munching. it def works for feeling sick though, but at this rate I am going to end up HUGE! I already have a sticking out tummy- did not have any noticable bump until at least 16 wks before. Getting more and more paranoid that i'm having twins!

babymad- I did watch the programme on 5 yesterday. All very strange. I know I really had a overwhelming desire to have a third baby, but I just can't see how you can have that feeling for a 13th... i think some of the women needed counselling in how to move on from being a Mum. Mind you, why do these women think that when you take a child to school they dont need you anymore? Bonkers.

Chooster · 20/03/2007 13:33

I too am eating a massive amount - but enjoying it too DH and I are going to costco tonight so we'll have bumper packs of everything, including yummy naughty things. FAB!!! I would never survive on 3 biccies Greedy - get down that shop!

I also fancy getting a 3D / 4D scan done as this will probably be our last baby and I'd quite like to see what its like. The only thing I worry about is if he will look a bit squashed and kind of part-baked. Is it a strange experience? I can't remember if anyone has had it done?

Babymad - I saw bits of the programme last night. I hope you stayed away and didn't watch. It must be so hard to see your family on there. Hope you are doing ok...

Like Honeyapple, I find it interesting about what drives people to go that far - especially the couple who wanted fertility treatment for their 14th baby - Why pay for help for another baby when you've got 13 kids to look after? Each to their own though...

greedyforbabies · 20/03/2007 13:56

looks like a trip to the shop is in order!!!!! my 3 biscuits didn't last long!!!!!

greedyforbabies · 20/03/2007 13:59

costco is fab isn't it choosterchops!!!??? my dad works for costco in the head office so i have a card and i just LOVE their american sized portions!!!

Chooset - PMSL at "part-baked"! Like those baguettes you get that you have to finish off yourself!

Babymad - we can't get Ch 5 round my way, so although I have to admit to being curious to see, I wasn't able to.

Don't worry about eating crap in the first trimester Greedy, it's all i could face (white bread toast, lashings of butter and vegemite. the baby clearly NEEDED it!) Now I just love food full stop, so am eating a pretty good balance of treats and healthy stuff. In fact have jsut spent £6 buying ingredients to make healthy flapjacks (inc. loads of fruit and seeds) - more to give me and DD something to do this afternoon, but might as well get some fibre down me neck too. TMI alert, but there is a serious "Malteser" situation going on in the poo department, if you catch my drift

Greedy - that's a bit of a mare about the extension. Is it to create another room for the new arrival?

Fettle - sorry to hear you're not feeling very positive today. I think that is a pg symptom in itself! I am on a constant rollercoaster of either really upbeat and excited and everything will be fine, to really grumpy, negative and it's all going to be awful. Feeling V. hormonal today and have been on brink of tears over the smallest things. Lost it completely earlier when I couldn't find my MATB1 certificate it has taken me 3 weeks to organise! Threw a complete tantrum my daughter would have been proud of! Found it at the bottom of my handbag where I had left it....

MrsMcJ - it's great that you are keeping an eye on this thread, we'd miss you too much otherwise.

Hello to anyone I've not mentioned. Better go, DD is starting to look bored and like she might start getting up to mischief if I don't get off the computer soon...

Bodkin · 20/03/2007 14:20

Sorry, Chooster, i seem to have created a new name for you!

firsty - you moved from malteser to flapjack too quickly in that sentance! enough to put me off one of bodkins flapjacks.............and i will eat anything!!!

bodders! - the extension is to create an extra bedroom yes! could i realistically cope with it all going on when we have the baby or would i be too stressed? i dont really want to delay it till next year, but that might be the only option!!!

i am due 5th oct. and extension wont start till end of aug and finish until end of nov. i am actually quite pissed off with dh for not organising a builder sooner who could do it in time. i think he is ringing around again today, but i reckon the only ones available now are probably available for a reason.........they are crap! i like to think i am quite a chilled person and that i could cope with the chaos, but i am not sure how i would feel at the time with the sleep deprivation turning me into the psychobitch that it does!

Chooster · 20/03/2007 15:34

Yeah, I would definately have psychobitch tendancies if there was a huge amount of mess and banging about when I was tired and sleep deprived. BUT firsty makes a good point in that at least it would be done while the wee one is still a wee one. It might be worth seeing which bits they would have done by the start of October and therefore how much disruption there will to you in the main bits of the house. Tricky one though...

Malteser poo - I've been really suffering (well thats maybe being a bit dramatic) over the last few days. I definately need to get things loosened up a bit. Hope the flapjacks work Bodders - we'll be waiting for the 'poo' update soon

i need some sanity............ i have been getting carried away on the 'filthy dream' thread!!!!!...................yes...........extensions and poo!.......that should keep me from feelin horny!!!

Bodkin · 20/03/2007 16:01

Greedy - hope you've managed to calm yerself down a bit now, for the sake of your elderly patient if nowt else!

Flapjacks are total triumph. Would it be too sad to post recipe here? Think I can feel their magical powers working already.

greedyforbabies · 20/03/2007 16:25

bodders! you made me laugh on that other thread!!! do you think happy daddy likes it???

Bodkin · 20/03/2007 16:37

Well, I think he likes you! I think you have made him a very happy daddy today!

Chooster · 20/03/2007 16:38

oh firsty! you didn't have to tell me that! you spoilsport! i am aiming to beat my record this time and put on more than 3 stone this pregnancy!

honeyapple · 20/03/2007 18:10

That thread is hilarious... and a man to chat too as well, WOW! I have been having saucy dreams too, and just really vivid dreams like ALL night long. Last night I felt I didnt sleep properly at all because I was so aware of waking up from all sorts of weird dreams. I think it is quite sad to hear that some poor people go the whole 9 mths with no howsyerfather at all... friends of mine said they werent having sex (she was PG) and I was just SO shocked. They said it was "too wierd". .
