Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

fettle - i was thinking about you earlier and thinking that you had been quiet for the past few days. I MUST REMEMBER NOT EVERYONE IS AS OBSESSED WITH MN AS ME!!! i had more spotting today too after about 3 days without any. i was starting to think it had stopped ...........silly me hey? what day is your scan then? friday? mine is wed. kind of starting to shit myself a bit now.

firsty - i am so happy for you. i am glad everything went so well at your scan. july will be here before you know it.

mrs - i am not surprised you are feeling crap. you are completely entitled to. you are right, i am sure there are people worse off than you, but you can always say that and it doesn't matter. what has happened to you is really unfair, so dont feel bad for feeling sorry for yourself, you are allowed to. cry as much as you need to, and share it all with us if it helps.

i had another one of those dreams last night! the funny thing is when i tell my dh in the morning i am sure he thinks they are about him...............and they NEVER are! but i dont have the heart to tell him!!! last nights was about someone i went to school with and haven't seen since!!! VERY vivid again! but this time there was a body attached to the willy!

chooster - i hope your night of passion was fun!!!

MrsMcJnr · 18/03/2007 22:35

I?m ok Chooster, really you are right, things will get better Hope you had a lovely weekend.

Fettle ? posted for you on the temp thread too but I really hope the scan goes well, I?ll be thinking about you. Thanks for all your kind words. I?ve had a few glasses of wine but it still doesn?t taste great (doesn?t mix well with HCG) I?m really trying to keep my alcohol consumption to a minimum anyway as we?re busy trying again (well, not right now?!)

I?m obsessed with MN too Greedy, prefer it to RL at the moment actually! I hope Weds goes well, I?ll be looking for your post. Thanks for your lovely post for me.

Chooster · 19/03/2007 08:31

Good luck today babymad!!! Looking forward to hearing from you later on.

So its babymad today, Greedy Wednesday and Fettle on Friday... Its definately 'scan time' on here isn't it Good luck to you all.

My vivid dreams have calmed down a bit, but I was having really really vivid kinky dreams too Greedy. And it never involved DH, usually ex-boyfriends or old work mates, which I have to admit was a bit freaky. And I also seem to be remembering really wierd stuff. I usually have a dreadful memory but since I've been pregnant I'm remembering loads of stuff from school when I was really little. Its kind of nice really.

However the saucy dreams definately seem to have gone - Oh yes, last night I dreamt that I was ordering a pudding (some kind of chocolate thing as the lady told me they didn't have my first shoice which was a lemon drizzle cake) and then I left without paying. I remembered halfway home and had to walk back to pay... Ooooh, the excitement! My night of passion was a total wash out too... DH and I ended up playing scrabble and then were too tired for sex!!! The shame...

Hope the weekend passed OK for you MrsMc and you had a lovely lunch yesterday. Take care

BabyMadwithBump · 19/03/2007 08:33

Chooster thanks My boys have just said we hope it's a girl we'll see!

Good luck today Babymad. Excited for you!

Chooster - aha! a fellow Scrabble enthusiast! Me and some of my other mum friends have a regular scrabble evening - sometimes it gets a bit too competetive (usually me )! Sorry to hear your night of pash was a bit of a washout though.

MrsMc - I don't have any experience of what you are going through, but I think you have to allow yourself to feel whatever you feel, when you feel it, and try not to feel guilty about those feelings (god I've never used the word "feel" so much in one sentance)!

Greedy - your holiday sounds lovely and mellow and relaxing. Your kids sound FANTASTIC! Letting you relax while they play together - cor, lucky you! Will be thinking of you on Wednesday. How far along are you now?

Firsty - so pleased your scan went well. It must be a great weight off your shoulders.

Hi Fettle, not long to go now til Friday. Your spotting doesn't sound too worrying, I had a bit of that at about 11-12 weeks - possibly when my period was due?

Hello everyone else xxx

bodders - its the first time my kids have done that on holiday! thats the beauty of having 2 close together, they can entertain each other! although as soon as another older kid comes along my ds doesn't want to know his little sis, bless her! i didn't ignore them the whole time though, i did play with them too! my ds decided to make me some new suntan cream out of a lovely gloopy mixture of sand and seawater, so i was subjected to being coated in that on the beach most days! .............hey...........i've got nice smooth skin now though!

babymad...........cant wait to hear if its a blue or a pink one!

i am 11 +4wks now whoever asked me that..........its whizzing by! morning sickness has been nasty for the past few weeks, but i cant complain. it was just in the evenings, but the last couple of days it has been pretty constant all day. eating is the only cure for me, so today i have barely come up for air! munch munch munch all day so far!!! my clothes are getting really tight now! i'm not keen on the inbetween stage when you dont really look pg, just plain old FAT!!! and thats where i am at the mo!

greedyforbabies · 19/03/2007 13:26

firsty - that was a lovely message for mrs. you are very sweet.

Wow Greedy - can't believe you're that far along. That seems to have gone very quickly! I didn't like the "fat stage!" either - I put on loads in the first 3 months this time, but seem to have steadied off a bit now, thank goodness. I hope you were'nt offended - I wasn't suggesting you were ignoring your kids on hols! Just that it must be great when they do start to entertain each other. I get a lot of "Mummy, play playmobil" Which, while very winsome, gets a bit wearing after the 99th time!

BabyMadwithBump · 19/03/2007 16:43

Thanks firststar,
yes it was hiding IT'S bit's not only behide it's legs but feet and hands as well he/she really didn't want us to know and to top it off the lady scaning me spent 15 mins looking at the baby's brain and ask someone else to check so we got very worried but all seems fine they said (very reasureing ), and I have a low placenta PLUS baby is on the small side so I'm alittle on the down side (plus upset)but DH is booking a 4D scan for in a few weeks time, so we'll know then weather or not he/she wants me to and to help us!

Bodkin · 19/03/2007 17:04

Sorry to hear the scan wasn't completely reassuring, and that you didn't find out the sex. I'm sure the 4D one will put your minds at rest. I was told DD measured on the small side (especially her head) but she was absolutely fine, so try not to worry.

conkertree · 19/03/2007 17:22

hi everyone - had my 20 week scan today too and was almost exactly the same as babymad - low lying placenta - on the small side etc. but means i get another scan at 30 weeks to check the placenta has moved so thats a bonus in some ways. just maybe not the reassuring scan i expected.

circumference of its tummy was the only measurement that was big - guess i've been eating too much chocolate.

will go and catch up on everyone else's news now.

BabyMadwithBump · 19/03/2007 18:56

Anyone watching that crap on five 2nite at 9?

Chooster · 19/03/2007 20:27

Wow - Greedy you are getting far along now... It doesn't seem that long ago that you found out. And lovely your kids play so well. My DS still needs us to entertain him and play with him, but I guess that will change the older he gets and the fact he'll have a wee brother to lead astray

Sorry that your scan was a little upsetting Babymad. At least you got the all clear and hopefully the 4D scan will help you relax more.

Congratulations on your scan conkertree and its nice to have another scan up your sleeve!

Yes, Bodkin, I am a fellow scrabble enthusiast - I too am a wee bit competitive but I try not to let it show .

I hope your MS goes soon Greedy!

Hi to everyone else - hope you are all doing well.

fettle · 19/03/2007 22:01

Hello all!

Babymad & Conkertree, sorry to hear your scans weren't totally reassuring - hopefully your next scans will be better!

Greedy - your holiday sounds blissful. How old are your dc? Sounds like they were angels on holiday - I want a holiday, but with DH's job, the only time we can take a holiday is late August, when I'll be too pg (hopefully) to go anywhere exciting. But its due to be a hot summer isn't it, so we may go up to Scotland, where my Mum still lives and stay with her for a while and go to the beach up there - DD loved it up there - even went swimming in the North Sea![brr!]

anyway, I have to say Greedy, I'm more envious of your morning sickness (or evening sickness) than your holiday - I'd give anything for some reassurance at the moment, but remind me again girls, every pg is different and I probably wouldn't feel as bad this time round as I did with DD (maybe I won't get SPD or obstetric cholestasis this time around either!!).

Must get to bed now - although thankfully the utter exhaustion I've had recently has also subsided, which is a relief - starting to have energy again - that's ok for 12 weeks isn't?

sorry for putting my negative energy out on you all, but it feels better to get it out of my system! As firststar puts it, only 4 sleeps to go til we know!

take care all
xxx

MrsMcJnr · 19/03/2007 22:06

Chooster ? PMSL at the dreams and the scrabble!

Thanks Firststar, you are lovely We are trying to TTC again but not sure what?s happening with OV at this point!

Hello Bodkin

Hey Babymad sorry you are still having to guess at the sex! Enjoy the 4d!

Conkertree ? wish the scan had made you feel better but it?ll be great to get one at 30 weeks, you?ll see tons!

All the very best to Greedy and Fettle for your scans, I?ll be back to check up on you!

greedyforbabies · 19/03/2007 22:39

mrs - i am so glad that you keep popping on to chat to us all, its really nice.

fettle - you dont need to be jealous of my morning sickness. it has only just become bad this last week or so when everone keeps saying it should be wearing off! AND.............if i remember rightly...........weren't you the little lady who couldn't face MN because looking at the pc made your morning sickness bad???? that sounds quite bad to me!!!!! my ms is nowhere near as bad as it was last time i was pg, so yes, all pgs are different! my ds is 3yr 8mths and my dd is 2yr 3mths. i do feel like i am extremely lucky with them both (especially after visiting one of my friends today with her 2!!!!!!PHEW!!!), thats probably why we have gone for no.3!!!

my dh has informed me tonight that our extension that was supposed to be happening over the summer (and ending before my EDD) is now not going to start until the end of august! (so will be in full flow when i pop!) AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!! not sure a house without walls is the best environment for a newborn!!!! what do you think????

greedyforbabies · 19/03/2007 22:40

honeyapple? you ok? you have been v. quiet lately

Chooster · 20/03/2007 09:49

Mmmm, yes... a house without walls would be a disadvantage thats for sure. Hopefully the weather will be good for you

MrsMc - I hope you'll get your cycle worked out soon, I guess it may still be a bit out of sync - although hopefully a bit of pot luck BD will pay off. Best of luck and I hope things are getting easier for you.

What time is your scan tomorrow Greedy?

eating well?........ whats that for?........ don't tell me we are supposed to try and be healthy as well!!!!!
i ate so much yesterday to try and keep my sickness at bay that i ended up feeling a different kind of sick from over eating!! i am a bit worried cos i am at work and i only have 3 biscuits left to keep me going till 6.30! think i might have to pop into budgens later and stock up on some crap to eat or i will be wretching all over my patients!!! nice!!!

firsty - i like the way you count in sleeps! i am again really chilled about my scan tomorrow. not sure why really. might be because i actually feel pg at the moment. every time i start to worry, i stop myself thinking about it, so i am remarkably relaxed. lets hope i am not on here tomorrow in tears cos its all gone wrong!

i think i would love a 4d scan. how much are they roughly? you must know babymad.

greedyforbabies · 20/03/2007 12:32

my scan isn't till 2pm by the way and then i have to get ds from nursery afterwards. i know how everyone panics if there is no news............like with you and your scan on friday firsty!
