No don't worry Greedy - you're right on the money. I am quite jealous of your experimentations. I have a very conservative Ladygarden generally.

Good idea about an update of where everyone's at. I'll start:

Bodkin Due 15/07/07 (22 weeks?)

Right, gotta dash as am being very sneaky using boss's computer while he's having his lunch

firststar good luck with your scan thinking of you tomorrow!

As for my mother, not watching "IT" on the day and not thinking about it, or doing anything about it, for the time being watch this space or papers in a years time!

Bodkin... thanks for thinking of me, sweets!! I left a message on the temp buddies thread for you, as you were tiptoeing about on there ... But then I thought you might not see it, and wonder why I was being rude and not saying hello!! Don't like to stray onto these boards you see... bit frightened and that Anyway... I hope that you are ok? Miss you lots, but so glad that you are here Take care. Ready x

Chooster · 15/03/2007 19:42

WELCOME BACK GREEDY!!! So, can you tell us all about the holiday? Would you recommend it? Kids OK on the flight... I bet you look fab!! Good you are not stressing about the scan.

Good luck for tomorrow Firsty - what time are you going?

I've added myself to the role call

There's a lot of us all within 3 weeks of each other.

Re: ladygarden experiments, I also tried the full shave a few times (yes thats right, I didn't learn my lesson the first time) and it was awful growing back - stubbly and itchy. To be honest I dont think it looks that good either. DH seemed to approve but I dont think he liked the chaffing when it was growing back

Mmmmm, DH out for curry and DS snoozing nicely - am just trying to figure out what to have for dinner... xx

MrsMcJnr · 15/03/2007 20:50

It is funny that you are mostly due around the same time

Firsty - will be thinking of you tomorrow and will be checking to make sure you are a very happy lady

BabyMadwithBump · 16/03/2007 07:43

Morning Ladies!

MrsMcJ how are you?

I believe I will give birth about 27th/07 for some reason, I was early with my boys But at least I wont have any early morning school runs with a new born I'll have a few weeks first before all that starts and I find in the six weeks holiday family want to have the boys more, as they get to stay up and people have things planned which they want my boys involved! About the lady garden I cant do any thing with mine, I do trim but this all due to finding it soooooooo itchy not nice!

firststar good luck with your scan Today!

MrsMcJnr · 16/03/2007 08:51

Hey Babymad, sorry to hear that your Mum is causing you angst again hope you are bearing up ok . I?m ok, think it will be a sad weekend for us as we had planned to tell the families this weekend after a private scan today. I had special Mother?s Day cards announcing the news made. Sad and p?d off all at the same time.

Bodkin · 16/03/2007 09:20

Morning.

Don't worry Firsty, I managed to clear the history, just as I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Phew! don't think I would EVER live that one down if he had found that!

MrsMc - sorry to hear this will be such a sad weekend for you and a painful reminder of your loss. Can you plan to do something lovely with DH anyway, to take your mind off things a bit?

Babymad - glad to hear you've managed to put things out of your mind and concentrate on your own lovely family and the exciting times ahead.

Ready! (I like your use of bold so will copy you if that's ok!) I did see your message on temp buddies as I was tiptoeing around, but feel the same way you do about being on here, and as I don't really know many of the others on there I thought I'd just do a quickie for Mrs and skiddaddle. But we'll keep in touch one way or the other

Greedylady!!!! How was the hols? Why no juicy details and gossip? Got some good strap lines?

Conker - I saw your other thread about feeling the baby move from the outside. I can now (and sometimes even see it) but every time I say to DP "quick quick, put your hand there, it's really kicking" the little blighter goes all shy and gets stage fright and stops immediately! Same thing happened with last pg. How do they know?!

See y'all later xx

MrsMcJnr · 16/03/2007 09:28

Bodkin ? I?m sure he would have loved finding that! We are still going out for lunch with DH?s folks and SIL, we have seen them since the MC so at least that is out of the way. The temp buddies is a really busy thread, it?s so hard to keep up.

Lovely that you and Conker can feel you little ones move from the outside

honeyapple · 16/03/2007 12:20

Hello,

Well, Hurrah! DP and I had a luvverly saucy sesh last night, so I am feeling much happier- although also v. tired today! And I didnt even bother with the bush trim. Was quite weird in a way after all the shagging over the last 6 mths TTC.

Hi Greedy, we want info on St Lucia!

Mrsmcj- sorry to hear you are feeling .

I am now 8 weeks today!

BabyMadwithBump · 16/03/2007 13:46

Any news?

greedyforbabies · 16/03/2007 14:36

hello all!

i have been having ABSOLUTELY FILTHY dreams the past couple of nights! what is going on? lasts nights was fab! shame we were running so late this morning i didnt get a chance for a real life version with dh!!!

st. lucia was lovely! not much to do, but my kids were more than happy to play in the pool or on the beach and let me and dh read and sunbathe!!!!!!! this has been our first holiday since having them both that they have just got on with it and we have been able to relax too! it was just what i needed! i seem to be getting evening sickness which is kind of good cos it meant i could never eat a whole meal and managed not to gain any weight on holiday, which is a miracle for me cos i normally come back at least half a stone heavier!!!

as for strap marks! i dont have any! i am ever so slightly, completely and totally obsessed with the sun and i lie in every differnet position and constantly rearrange my bikini to avoid strap marks!!! it is VERY sad i know! and in 20 years time i will look well over 80!!! but i dont care!!! at the moment i look brown!!! oh my god i am REALLY sad aren't i!!!???

gotta go and get me boy from nursery!

t'ra!!!

MrsMcJnr · 16/03/2007 14:55

Greedy ? not dreams about Sawyer and the Durma initiative chocolate sauce again?!! I?m a girl after your own heart, I even ensure brown armpits!

Honeyapple ? and all the better because it was just for the joy of it!

BabyMadwithBump · 16/03/2007 16:40

Firststar dieing to know how it went? All good I hope!

greedyforbabies · 16/03/2007 20:57

firstars scan was today was it? hope it was all ok for you firsty. dont we worry whenever anyone actually has a real life and doesn't come straight on here to report their news hey!?

unfortunately mrs my dream wasn't about sawyer! actually it could have been!........i didn't see a face..........just a HUGE throbbing member!!!!

greedyforbabies · 16/03/2007 20:58

TMI i wonder!!!!????

Chooster · 16/03/2007 22:06

Oh no - definately not too much info Greedy...!!! I can feel my sex drive slowly coming back from the depths and have booked DH in for some fun tomorrow evening. I know thats a bit organised but he was out for a curry last night (I'm sure the smell of him walking in the front door woke me up!!! - I still can't go near him now) and he's off out for beers tonight. So tomorrow it is!!! I hope I can remember what to do

So no news from Firsty - Its wierd thinking that we all do have lives in RL as well eh.

Hi to everyone else - Hope you are all happy and healthy
xx

Greedy!! ? so great to have you back! TMI doesn?t exist on here if you ask me!

Chooster ? hope you have fun!

Firsty ? I am SO happy for you, that?s great news and I?m delighted you feel so good, finally! You?ve cheered me up on a crappy day. Could you really get a feel for what your baby will looks like? Could you see yourself in her/him? Any feelings about the sex?

RL really sucks for me at the moment, sorry, that sounds so ungrateful and unchristian and I?ll no doubt be hit by lightening just for uttering it but I really feel like NOTHING is going my way, granted, it could be much worse but it really is crap enough frankly. I won?t bother listing it all, too boring, but you guessed it, the top of the list is the fact that I?ve lost my baby, I could handle the rest and probably not even notice the remaining stuff but without her, it?s all amplified and too much to handle

Chooster · 17/03/2007 19:57

Congratulations on a good scan Firsty! Thats really really really good news. Wow, 4D... I bet it was amazing. I haven't even seen 3D yet. You can almost feel the sense of relief from your post.

MrsMc - I'm so so sorry you are feeling down. Its like you said on an earlier post this was always going to be a hard weeekend for you because of your plans and its still all so new and raw. Things will definately DEFINATELY pick up for you - on all levels. You have a wonderful DH and some great future plans - and that successful pregnancy will be just round the corner. I'm just sorry its so tough for you at the moment.

fettle · 17/03/2007 20:16

Firststar - fantastic news. So happy for you!! Was worried when we didn't hear from you yesterday, but then as Greedy said we have to remember we do have RLs too!!!

6 sleeps to go til my next scan. Had the tiniest amount of spotting this afternoon again, trying very hard not to think about it, as it didn't even really look like blood, just brown discharge (way TMI!!, but i felt I had to tell someone!)

Sorry, Greedy's TMI is probably much better!!! (never had dreams that vivid Greedy!!, at least vivid dreams are a good sign!!) Great to have you back, you always make me smile somenow!!!

Sorry to hear you not feeling too good MrsMc, but it is only to be expected. You'll have days when you think you're coping really well and then suddenly it will hit you from nowhere, the unfairness of it all, why me? etc etc. Not unChristian at all, I'd say totally understandable. Deep down you know you are better off than many many people in the world, but sometimes you just need to be selfish and think of yourself. Enjoy some wine and have a couple of glasses for all us!!

Think I'll go and have some full-fat coke - seems to be my craving, but i'm managing to control it so I'm not actually having very much, due to the caffeine and other stuff in it that i'm sure isn't very good for beanies!!

Hope everyone else is well - have your duvet clips arrived, Chooster? DD seems to have kept her duvet on for the last few nights, so we'll see how we go!

Better get off now - enjoy your Saturday evenings!

love
me
