greedyforbabies · 26/01/2007 17:11

my DHs morning breath has ALWAYS been too much to face! i always face the other way! BUT i dont care cos he has SUPERDOOPER RAMBO SPERM!!!!! (did i mention that!???)

sideways · 26/01/2007 17:12

By the way MrsMc - I wasn't on the Jan thread and missed the stuff about your bd marathon. Can you tell me how you did it - I need tips.

fettle · 26/01/2007 19:20

Hi All

I still can't believe that there have been 3 of us today with our BFPs. Still a bit scared and tentative me, but hopefully my GP will be understanding when I see her on Monday. I'm really hoping that having had DD, then 2 mc last year, that my chances are just as good as anyone else's of this little one sticking for the full 9 months.

Greedy, my really long cycle bud now!!! I think TCOYF Weschler says in her book to add 9 calender months to your temp rise day and then take a week off, so my temp rise was 9th Jan, so that would be 2nd Oct. Does that make sense? I would assume in your case with super rambo DH sperm (no wonder he thinks the postman has some questions to answer!!), it might be a few days out, but I wouldn't think that your temp would lie.

got to go - DD wants a cuddle.

fettle · 26/01/2007 19:27

Sorry, back again!!

Just wanted to add, that I got home from work today to a phone call from the hospital saying they had had a cancellation for me to see the fertility consultant next Thursday!! Having now conceived 2 cycles in a row, I feel a bit of a fraud, but I had taken 18 months and 1 mc when I asked for the referral back in November. I'll ask my GP on Monday what best to do, as I don't want to completely lose my place in the queue, if I end up miscarrying this one, as that will be 3 in a row.

Must think positive, but it is so hard - I'm glad I've got you all here on MN to keep me sane.

Take care all
x

greedyforbabies · 26/01/2007 19:40

fettle! i have never worried in the past too much even though i have had bleeding early with both of my pgs ( guess that should read 'all of my pgs' now!) but this time after being on here and hearing of so many sad stories i am a lot more cautious. i think it is best to stay a bit cautious isn't it, but if this could potentially be my last pregnancy i want to enjoy it too!

dh still doesn't believe me by the way! i told him you dont get false +ves, especially not 3 in a row, but he wants me to test again in the morning! he probably still wont believe me then!

my EDD will be 5th oct! how close are we!!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH! fingers crossed so tightly! when can we stop worrying and start enjoying?

fettle · 26/01/2007 19:44

Greedy - you'll bankrupt yourself if you test too much !!!

I'm going to keep temping for now, as I'll feel happier knowing my temp is still up, as that is what I missed last cycle, when I started bleeding, my thermometer had broken and I didn't know what was going on. Horrible.

anyway, this is another cycle, another time and maybe it was meant to be, so we can have bumps together!!!

take care, pg buddy!

Hope everyone on this thread has wonderful weekends! I look forward to getting to know you all better!

greedyforbabies · 28/01/2007 21:12

well.........i have had cramps (only a few) and some bright red blood and clots this morning. i have bled before early in both my pgs but not bright red or clots. don't think it sounds good does it? should my bfps be a really dark line by now? they dont seem to be getting any darker. not sure what to think really. i will take my temp and test again in the morning, but that probably wont tell me much anyway. sorry to be so miserable

KitKat30 · 29/01/2007 09:46

Oh greedy honey ? I was all ready to post a massive congratulations, but doesn?t seem quite right if you?re worried about bleeding. I had some red bleeding at about 8 weeks ? clots and all ? and it turned out absolutely fine. The nurses said there were so many different causes for early pg bleeding ? none of which are harmful to the baby.

To help put your mind at ease can you go to an Early Pregnancy Unit for a check up? Where are you? St thomas?s Hospital has a 24 hour walk in centre and you don?t need a referral from your GP. Let us know how you get on ? thinking lots of positive thoughts for you hon. xx

Hope everyone is OK this morning x

I am bursting with excitement and complete shock (We hadnt started trying as dc3 is not yet one!!) And cant tell anyone else yet

greedyforbabies · 29/01/2007 13:39

4th by the look of it! i am sooooooooooo jealous!
kitkat, you have given me hope! i have had bleeding before in my pgs but never red and with clots. i thought it was such a bad sign, probably still is for me. had quite a bit more this morning too. was yours just a one off or over a few days? i so hope it is nothing to worry about.
i went to the epu this morning and they took bld to check my hcg levels, i have to ring at 2pm to find out if they are high enough for them to scan me and see whats happening, but i dont think they will be.
i CANNOT believe you are 10 wks already! and king of bods! 16 wks! WOW!

KezzaG · 29/01/2007 13:46

Hi, can I join. Had a BFP Lthursday and dont want to keep posting on the ttc thread, but too scared to move to a poper ante natal one. Had 2 mc's last year so I am anything but relaxed about this one.

Congratulations to all on here, I look forward to getting to know you all as we suffer through a long hot summer. If I get there I promise I will never moan about my swollen ankles and lack of sleep even once. I already have one ds born in Oct so I know the pain of a summer pregnancy only too well.

Have added my stats:
firststar - EDD 24/07/06 14+4
Bodkin - EDD 15/07/07... ummm 16 weeks ish?!
kitkat - EDD 30/08/07...10 weeks tomorrow!
Kezza - EDD 04/10/07

KitKat30 · 29/01/2007 13:51

It's so, so scary - mine lasted for about 2-3 days and I was absolutely convinced everything had gone horribly wrong. My bleeding was - sorry if TMI - was a mixture of red and browny clots (more red the 1st day) and was quite mucousy. And I had period pains...I even convinced myself that my morning sickness had disappeared!!

Easier said than done I know, but try to stay calm and just hope for the best. Will be thinking of you at 2pm - let us know how you get on. So hope everything is OK - I know how much you want this pg. Keeping everything crossed for you hon xx

Hi MrsMcJnr - i remember you from the ttc boards back in the summer, i am currently 26+4wks. Many congrats on your BFP. Very pleased for you.

Bodkin · 29/01/2007 15:27

At last KitKat, we are not alone! Greedy, good to hear from you and that you are remaining positive. How were the results?

Hi Kezza & April Meadow. Anisse, I just saw your post about MS. That's exciting/slightly terrifying that you think it might be twins! Let us know how you get on.

Where's MrcMcJ? That must have been some Hen weekend! Hope she's ok.

conkertree · 29/01/2007 15:54

my goodness this thread moves as fast as the ttc ones did - blink and you miss 30 messages. have added my stats - fingers are crossed for you greedy.

firststar - EDD 24/07/06 14+4
Bodkin - EDD 15/07/07... ummm 16 weeks ish?!
conkertree - EDD 01/08/07 13+ 5
kitkat - EDD 30/08/07...10 weeks tomorrow!
Kezza - EDD 04/10/07

finally cleaned the fridge out from top to bottom on sat - another smell source that meant i had to avoid opening the fridge for about 8 weeks, and i dont think there was anything particularly strong in there (and i had cleaned it in those 8 weeks but the smell seemed to linger), but the thorough clean seems to have done some good, and i was able to pour my own milk for my cereal this morning. poor dh puts up with a lot.

vitomum · 29/01/2007 18:52

hope things are OK greedy x
