Hi, I'm bored, sat on mumsnet or googling every symptom and trump. I'm 37+4 and it is my third and final. I know I should be enjoying every last kick and lightning bolt to the cervix, just feeling it is quite a big mountain to climb. Dd's were 40+3 and 40+ 6 and this is a boy. How is everyone else doing? WHAT are you doing? I am busy grumping at dh and pinteresting healthy post natal things whilst eating Easter eggs...

Congratulations Emma & good luck Crumbly.

I'm now 40 +4 and rapidly losing patience, mainly due to the plethora of 'how are you?' messages I keep getting which seem to be bad code for 'have you had your baby yet?'

Should I go on a strict pineapple/curry/raspberry leaf tea diet Smile

suffolkblonde29 · 11/04/2016 12:33

Just checking in to say hi as I'm in the same boat - 40 + 2 and feeling very impatient! Reading into every tiny twinge but no signs of going into labour so far.

Anyone else got a bit addicted to this website that tells you your chances of going into labour? It's a bit dangerous! Mine is 9% today apparently.

Trying to think of things to do to keep busy but it's hard not being able to plan anything. Going to go for a walk this afternoon and look round the shops I think...

Shirkingfromhome · 11/04/2016 12:35

No dolly you should switch your phone off Grin

It's hard because it's nice people are so interested but the longer you wait the more annoying the 'have you had it yet' messages get.

Good luck Crumbly someone told me the more relaxed your jaw is the more relaxed your fanjo is. Not sure if it's true but it'll give you something else to think about Wink

Dolly80 · 11/04/2016 12:47

But if I switch my phone off how will I pass the time Grin I know it's with the best intentions but does make me want to scream.

InFrance2014 · 11/04/2016 13:29

Thinking of Crumbly today, good luck...

Had vice-like BH most of the day, strongest yet, wondering if this means things are hotting up. Baby not too happy to be squeezed all the time, so adding plenty of jabs and kicks!

Dellabob123 · 11/04/2016 15:11

Congratulations emma fab news.
41 wks today and went in for induction. Had the prostin thing and now back at home. Eek.
It didn't do anything last time, so expecting to have to go back for stage 2 tomorrow lunch.

Bit scared now

Cantstopsmiling37 · 11/04/2016 18:15

So baby cantstop arrived at 13.40 weighing 8lbs. She is just perfect so have totally forgiven her for turning up before I was ready!!!

Dolly80 · 11/04/2016 18:21

Congratulations cantstop!

emmac3616 · 11/04/2016 19:18

Oh, good luck dellabob really hoping it goes well!

Congratulations cantstop - hope the labour went well for you!

Thank you everyone for the Congratulations! Feeling relieved I have to say, and very happy with baby Charlotte! Xx

Cantstopsmiling37 · 11/04/2016 19:43

Thanks for the congrats! Labour was fine, slow start and very speedy finish. Was sent up to delivery suite at 12.30, at just 5cm dilated, she popped out at 13.40.

lozengeoflove · 11/04/2016 21:01

Wow cantstop - first day of mat leave has gone off with a bang. Big congratulations. Bet she's gorgeous Flowers

waxweasel · 11/04/2016 21:16

Congratulations cantstop, emma, fedupofpeppa and zanny! Flowers🍾

Dolly - I'm also 40+4 and having the same angry meltdown over the 'how are you?' texts. I've stopped replying to them. My SIL was the worst for it but thankfully DH called MIL and mentioned it, and MIL has given her an absolute bollocking and told her to leave me alone 😄

namaste30 · 11/04/2016 23:35

So I am at the hospital, on a trace as baby movement really wierd today and nothing for 2 hours. Totally uncomfortable but reassured to see he is ok- heart rate doing some crazy things and they have just left us with the trace on, I'm trying not to google it too much... Jumps from 110ish to 180! Hopefully we will get sent home soon...

Shirkingfromhome · 12/04/2016 01:27

Namaste I had to go in for monitoring twice in the week before microshirking was born for the same reasons. Ds's heartbeat was erratic too but apparently that's a good sign. Hope your home soon Flowers

fedupofpeppa · 12/04/2016 02:42

Namaste I has the same. Had two spells of reduced movements which is why I was induced. Purely cautionary as he was fine. Try not to worry.

Congratulations can't stop.

namaste30 · 12/04/2016 07:13

Am ok, all was fine but just a pain as we didn't get back until 130 am, got some periody cramps now, hooray for progress. Midwife said typical 3rd baby difficult!!

lozengeoflove · 12/04/2016 19:40

How are you feeling this evening namaste?

LBOCS2 · 12/04/2016 21:01

Fuck's sake. Still pregnant. Have nothing to contribute to the thread but wanted a moan.

Angry
Dolly80 · 12/04/2016 21:07

Moan away, I feel your pain. I'm in
a terrible mood today. I can't work out if I'm impatient for baby to arrive or just don't want to be heavily pregnant anymore.

I'm booked to be induced on Thursday if nothing happens naturally in the meantime (I'm freaking out about that too, even though I think it's quite straightforwardly)

LBOCS2 · 12/04/2016 21:23

I was induced last time, it was fine. It was at 38 weeks though, so I'm totally not impressed at STILL being pregnant at 40+ weeks.

I'm in a really shit mood this evening. I'm hoping it's a sign. I'm hoping everything is a sign.

applecatchers36 · 12/04/2016 21:30

Sympathises to all who are feeling impatient. I'm also in a foul mood due date not until Thursday but have had enough. Eating dates, drinking raspberry leaf tea and waiting for any sign but baby seems quite happy where they are. Currently watching one born and it just feels a long way off bah!

Dolly80 · 12/04/2016 21:30

I had my daughter at 40+5. This pregnancy, everyone managed to convince me that second baby's come earlier. I'm 40 +6 tomorrow Angry

Fingers crossed our bad moods are totally a sign and we both have spontaneous labours asap Smile

InFrance2014 · 12/04/2016 21:31

Dolly I feel exactly the same. Past 2 days have become increasingly crippling physically - epic braxton hicks, pelvic/groin pain all the time, jabs in cervix- but I still have loads of unfinished work to do (no maternity leave). So I want it to end, but at the same time I don't! Confused
Finding it hard to think much about the baby either let alone get excited, except feeling bad that she seems uncomfortable too from all the squirming Sad

namaste30 · 12/04/2016 22:05

Hey all, still pregnant. I feel the thread has taken a turn for the moany and glorious. I am same as you applecatcher and I think in France too 2 days to go until due date. I have a midwife appt tomorrow, and wonder if they might sweep me? Had a little furtle ( I had a coil so I know what my cervix feels like from checking strings) and think I am around 2 fingers... So potentially favourable for a sweep? Anyone had one 39 +6? Just catching OBEM on +1. I love tHat midwife with the headscarf.. I want her to be my midwife!! Just backache and periody feeling for me.... But we have accepted an offer on our other house today ( bloody negative equity finally beaten) so COME on baby!!! I want champagne!

Reebok · 12/04/2016 22:42

Congrats to Emma and cantstop.

Another one wanting to moan. Not as far along as you all so don't feel like I have the right to...37+4...but I don't think I can take one more day of hyperemesis plus contractions. I feel rotten. Took dd nursery for the first time in ages today and a walk which should have taken 12 minutes took 30 minutes each way...I was in so much pain and the nursery staff honestly thought I would go into labour today. No such luck though. Sick of being pregnant but nervous about having 2 under 3.
