Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. On reading these posts it looks as fi I'll be the only one left in July as you are all due before. However we might have some new recruits in the New Year. Im sure my sister is also getting broody again.

WO- No snow in Glasgow yet!! have a Happy Christmas with your family !

lollipopz · 24/12/2006 09:01

No still here, and going to sit with my legs crossed through today and tomorrow, dont want the poor wee thing to have its birthday then and i dont want to be in hospital away from 2 dds on christmas day.
Dh and i were talking think it would be better for him to have a birthday at new year, think of the parties in 16 yrs time!! , so i'm not going to try anything else to bring labour on, not that it was working anyway!, and just let him arrive when he wants, the maximum i'm going to still be pregnant for now is 9 days, think i can cope with that, he dropped 2 days ago and i've been sleeping really well, so just gonna enjoy time with dds
(watch this he'll come today now after i've said all that!!lol)
hope you all have a really lovely time at xmas and new year wherever you are and i'll keep popping in and out to see how your all going!
xx

Afternoon ladies - hope you are all well!!!

No snow here in Glasgow, very foggy though!!

Hope you all have a wonderful xmas and new year..

Lollipopz, hopefully he'll make an appearance on the 29th... thats my birthday, and its quite a nice time to have a birthday, some excitement once xmas is over. Also in 16 years time he'll be able to do what I used to and spend the full week between xmas and new year drunk as a lord!!

lollipopz · 25/12/2006 22:06

Hey all well had a very eventful christmas, left house at 11 last night as pain was unbearable, and baby Jack James (JJ) was born at 2.48 am this morning, we were discharged after 12 hrs so could spend time with family, but got to go in tomorrow for check ups! He was the first boy born in the queen mums on xmas day so got prezzies from santa and the hospital and will be in the paper tomorrow which i'm quite [flush]ed about as i was a pure mess!!
Any way hope you all had a lovely less painful christmas!! xx

Thanks Lulu, he turned during labour and the 2nd stage only involved 18 mins of pushing, and no stitches so i was really lucky, thanks for all the support, you were right again !! xx

LJK · 01/01/2007 13:54

Yep I'm scottish, live in Dalmuir and am going to be going to The Queens Mothers Hospital. Assume everyone were designated drivers last night during the festivities - I was - went to a friends party - pretty good but funny listening to everyone talking nonsense when they're drunk amd you're sober!! Ordered my nursery furniture last week - Mamas & Papas range from The Pram Centre and going pram shopping later this week but too much to choose from - any thought sor advice from anyone? Anyone else ordered their furniture yet? xxx

geordiemacmincepie · 01/01/2007 17:30

Happy new year everyone!!! H ad a very sober xmas birthday and new year but never mind!!

We are looking at the murano range of furniture from the pram centre as its on offer at the moment, as for prams, we have bought the m&p Pliko Pramette Travel System as it was reduced from £450 to £237... they have some left on the website, in dusk colour, ours is petrol. Apparently they have sold hundreds since they reduced them the week before xmas.. oh and it came 2 days after we ordered it!!!

OP posts:
LJK · 01/01/2007 22:10

Thanks - we decided on the Omni furniture range - shall check out prams on their website n c wots doing.

LJK · 01/01/2007 22:26

Just checked out mamas and papas website - travel system u got looks great and wot a great price - unfortunately according to web they dont have any more in stock - agghh!! Also noticed that on Mamas & Papas website Murano range is £500 but on Pram Centre website it's £400.

trixymalixy · 01/01/2007 22:59

Happy New year to you all and hope everyone had a good Xmas!!

Mine was a bit hectic as had 21 people on Xmas day. Bit of a long story, but Mum wanted big family Xmas and my dining room is the biggest so kind of got blackmailed into it. Wasn't too bad though as Mum cleaned the house before and after, everybody else brought the food and the dishes got taken away dirty and washed elsewhere. So I just sat with my feet up !

We bought the Murano range from GPC. It's OK, the wardrobe is a bit flimsy, but the cotbed is much better than I thought it would be.

weeonion · 02/01/2007 20:55

hey folks - doesnt xmas seem forever ago!

how are the bumps progressing? mine seems to have gotten huge over the festive season and i feel like i am waddling around!

u all seem so organised - its a bit overwhelming all we seem to need!
