Hiya midnight.
It's not my first, my fourth! Have two dds and a ds already. How about you?
DH and I are originally from Scotland. We lived in Edinburgh for a year before coming back to Wiltshire. Have been back here for over three years and are waiting impatiently to come back!

Vio · 04/03/2007 15:11

hi flumppootle, how are you?? i'm also due in Apr!!

midnightexpress · 04/03/2007 19:19

Blimey, flumppootle, 4!! Respect. I'm a mere amateur with 2 dss (2nd is 6 weeks old, which is why I'm on this thread, not actually pg anymore). Do you know when you'll be moving yet? Before or after the LO arrives?

Lollipopz - such a cute baby!

weeonion · 05/03/2007 10:33

flumppootle · 06/03/2007 09:50

Hiya Vio! When in April are you due?
Seems to be a few april bairns.

Midnight, we dont know when we are moving, it depends when we sell the house and so is in the lap of the gods unfortunatley.
Our entry date in Scotland is the 18th May so fingers crossed!

Loved the baby pictues - so cute.

Weeonion, bumps and bairns is a great idea

HI! i am due on 22 Apr...less than 7 weeks to go but it feels ages....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

flumppootle · 06/03/2007 17:24

Vio, OOoo only due a day before me.
I sometimes think that I have got ages and other times I think AARGGHHH.
Have at least started to pack bags today.
Are most of you Glasgow based?

Vio · 06/03/2007 17:41

I should start to pack my hospital bag reallY! i have been really really lazy!

i am originally from Hong Kong, moved to Glasgow in May 06,. fell pregnant in July!! DH works here but hes English from Manchester, our wee one will be a scottish baby though... a chinese mum and an english dad but he will be born in Glasgow..what sort of accent will he get?? yes, think most of us are based in Glasgow.

flumppootle · 06/03/2007 17:48

LOL at accents Vio.
My dd2 has a really wiltshire accent at the moment and we are wondering how long it will take for her to stop saying "Traaaacter"
DH is from near Glasgow and he loves it there.

Vio · 06/03/2007 17:54

Hi. Anjo how are you doing?

I have a question for Trixy, last time you said you wish you had brought a Plastic jug ...err..i hope this is not a silly question, but what is it for? becos if it is essential then i will buy one.

trixymalixy · 06/03/2007 18:42

Sorry guys if this is tmi!!

If you have stitches and grazes down there after the birth it can really sting to go for a wee, so pouring water over your bits while weeing really helps as it dilutes the urine. Also you bleed quite a lot so a plastic jug is useful for washing yourself every time you go to the loo.

btw more pics of DS on my profile.

midnightexpress · 06/03/2007 18:57

oh, super cute trixymalixy! Dig the hairdo .

When addled brain is a bit more functional, must figure out how to post pics. Jacob has started smiling this week - still a bit lopsided, but worth the sleepless nights.

Vio · 07/03/2007 08:37

hey thanks trixy,....hes v.cute!!!

weeonion · 07/03/2007 08:40

Loulee · 07/03/2007 14:21

new thread here

Dalrymps · 13/10/2007 21:29

Hey there, was looking for people from berwick upon tweed when a couple of you guys said to come join this thread so here i am! I'm preggers with my first baby, a boy, due 16th Oct, this tues!!!
he's a bit small, got a 2nd growth scan on wed, the day after my due date, if i make it that far to check his size again, expected to be 6lb+ so not that small.
I'll have to travel an hour to wansbeck hosp to give birth cause they think he's more likely to become distressed from labour with him being wee... that should be a fun journey, hope my dh can manage to keep his eyes on the road!

spookthief · 13/10/2007 21:32
