lily so sorry to read what's happened hun, definitely go to the doctors to be referred for tests....do be kind to yourself, its not your fault Flowers xxx

No stinging or burning when I pee, so doc said just to watch out for symptoms...im assuming the increased urge to pee is simply growing bub! Will go back for more tests should any burning or cramping occur...putting previous cramps down to constipation and wind Blush

north that's amazing! You'll be meeting your little one soon enough!

mother welcome, we all understand the worry of hearing those dreaded words again at a scan...i had to go back to the room I had that bad news In too...had two mc's confirmed in same room, then with this pg, same room expecting the same news only to see a heartbeat! As hard as it is, its better to go, otherwise you're stuck in limbo! Dreading my next scan in 11 days...will be 12&5, just praying I see a proper little baby wiggling around with a strong heartbeat. Just take it one day at a time, try to find things to busy yourself with x

metal great news your maternity leave is in sight! Smile

Thanks for everyone's replies regarding possible water infection, and also regarding movement:
I'm 11 weeks exactly today, really feeling my growing uterus, when I bend over its like there's something in the way Hmm
11 days till scan...each day is torture, but keeping myself busy, perhaps a little too busy as had cramps yesterday after painting bedroom Confused

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 21/10/2015 18:45

reebok! Hi! How are you feeling now? Is it easing up at all? Good luck for scan tomorrow, I'm sure all is fine x

Reebok · 21/10/2015 19:10

Thanks paws. I'm a bag of nerves at the moment. The sickness has calmed down a little...some days I'm coping better so fingers crossed for a 16 week recovery like with dd. sorry to hear about your uti scare. The cramps could be constipation though. I'm suffering from it badly because of my medication to the point I'm in so much pain. Hope it eases for you. X

northdownmummy · 21/10/2015 19:42

So sorry lily FlowersSad I agree about seeing your GP as hopefully they will refer you for testing. Be kind to yourself. Feel free to join the rmc thread here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/miscarriage/2461442-Recurrent-Miscarriage-Support-Thread-30-Support-for-Tests-Treatments-and-Trying-Again?msgid=57144259#57144259
where you'll find lots of support and advice on testing. Big hugs xxx

BumbleBee0 · 21/10/2015 19:51

North GrinGrinGrin
Wishing you a straight forward, quick and painless (yeah right!) birth!!! Good luck xxx

BumbleBee0 · 21/10/2015 19:54

paws I took any type of stretching and twinges as good signs the uterus was expanding for baby during this pg. Just be careful when painting though to ensure you don't stretch and pull anything (not that you need telling I'm sure)

reebok good to hear from you. Hope the sickness continues to calm down. Good luck for tomorrow, sounds like everything is looking good so far so there is every reason everything will be fine. X

winterland · 21/10/2015 20:01

Still waiting for an early scan. My doc has nt rung yet. Not sure if i can contact epu myself? although im petrified of lying on that bed again and them finding nothing.

So sorry lily. Take care of yourself.

Nousername2015 · 21/10/2015 20:07

NORTH!!

reebok, great to see you back. So sorry to hear you're still suffering badly with the HG. The odds are firmly stacked in your favour that everything will be just fine tomorrow. It's a new pregnancy and therefore a new chance..

winter Can self refer to the epu? If not I would chase up the doc asap.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 21/10/2015 23:04

NORTH!!! I must have magic posts! Told you you would be meeting little one soon enough! (mind you at 39 weeks it was bound to be soon) Wink
Best of luck x

bumble I am taking cramps and such as a good thing too, just 'felt' like I over done it yesterday, felt very achy down there x

reebok lovely to hear sickness is becoming more tolerable, fc it continues to ease for you x

winter chase up your doctors, and you could always phone epu and see if they accept self refferals x

kirstie is here after a very quick labour, less than 2.5 hours after coming up to the hospital. Born at 22:46 weighing 8lb 6oz. Will post more details in the morning

Congratulations north, lovely news to start the day with Flowers And welcome to the world, Kirstie!

Metalhead · 22/10/2015 09:35

Huge congratulations north, what lovely news! Hope you're enjoying lots of cuddles with baby Kirstie this morning.

Good luck with your scan reebok, let us know how you get on.

So sorry to hear your news lily, I hope you're ok (or as ok as you can be under the circumstances).

Well I went into our London office yesterday for my leaving lunch and it nearly killed me! I don't know if was all the walking around, or the office chairs, but by the end of the day I was in agony from my back and pelvis. Day on the sofa today methinks.

nouser I'm planning to mainly do fun things on maternity leave before the baby arrives - cinema, swimming, meeting friends for lunch/coffee... plus some batch cooking, washing all the baby stuff and generally getting the house ready. I had a month off before DD1 arrived too and loved it!

Nousername2015 · 22/10/2015 10:02

Good luck today reebok

MotherOfCats · 22/10/2015 10:45

Thank you to everyone for your kind words of support. The scan is at noon tomorrow and I am terrified. I don't know if I feel sick with nerves or just sick in general. I have decided to go through with it although I am trying to convince myself in advance that it will be bad news. I know that might sound strange, but its the only way I can prepare myself. No bleeding and still having strong symptoms (although nausea, not vomiting) so no reason to suspect a MC but of course, we all fear the worst.
lily I am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are able to recover as quickly as possible but just give yourself lots of time.
north Congratulations!!

Marchgirl · 22/10/2015 10:54

lily, so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself and i second coming over to the rmc thread when you feel ready x

Marchgirl · 22/10/2015 11:16

Good luck for the scan today reebok, hope the HG continues to improve and buggers of completely very soon.

Good luck for tomorrow mother

winter, some epus are self referral. Just give them a call and ask. Mine is self referral and they are great for a bit of reassurance as well if you phone them. I know it's scary to have a scan after a bad one, but it doesn't have to turn out the same way and you're best to know what's going on. If it's not self referral, get back on to you gp to sort it out for you.

north CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Had only just read your message that it had started when she's here already! Brilliant news. Hope you are enjoying your newborn snuggles x

Reebok · 22/10/2015 11:23

Thanks everyone. Will let you know either way.

Mother good luck for your scan tomorrow.

North that is wonderful news! Enjoy your newborn baby cuddles! Flowers

Fiddledeedeee · 22/10/2015 13:28

Hi all. I am nearly 7 weeks pregnant after a mmc resulting in a d&c in early August. I'm feeling pretty awful and would love some support- both physically awful with nausea and tiredness and also freaking out. I had a scan yesterday and there was a heartbeat but I was measuring smaller than my dates. Doc didn't seem worried and said everything looked good, and two weeks ago blood tests showed hcg was rising well, but I can't help being extremely worried that I'm measuring a week behind since this happened last time. Doc thought I probably ovulated late, cycles messed up after miscarriage, but I got my bfp on time so I'm wondering if that can be true. Any words of wisdom?! Sorry for jumping straight on and being pathetic Sad

mrsdiddlydoo · 22/10/2015 13:34

north!!!!! Grin awesome news and hope the swift birth was ok! Congratulations... And enjoy the newborn baby cuddles xx

Reebok hope things go ok?

Good luck tomorrow mother

Had a growth scan which shows we're all good but placenta is still not in a good location so yet another check in 2 weeks. Was hoping to have walked away with a clearer mind and no more appts but hey ho. Grateful for getting this far. Need to take things easy. Had foolishly assumed it would move like it did for DS...

Reebok · 22/10/2015 13:45

Baby is fine and thriving. Doing summersalts! Measuring 12 weeks 6 days so now I'm due 29th April. So relieved!

Half growth scan went well mrsdiddly.
