Thanks guy Easter Grin

Hope you are all having a nice easter!

Gr33dyeggs · 05/04/2015 13:31

Mums appointment isn't til afternoon so ds is sleeping over so we can both go to the scan. So relieved. I couldn't imagine going through bad news on my own and if it's good, it might help OH be a bit more positive.

Wolf smell here. I don't know if its a fabric conditioner or lingering scent from those air fresheners but 2 people I know really whiff of it and it's like its sat in my nostrils!

At work but not doing much now. It looks lovely out too.

Amyyy27 · 05/04/2015 13:37

Aww greedy great you can both go!

epskie · 05/04/2015 13:47

What is furtling msjupiter? Confused

That's a relief gr33dy glad you don't have to go alone.

Barbiedoll79 · 05/04/2015 14:51

Fantastic news greedy its not somewhere you want to go alone- we had to take our lg with us and I can't recommend that much either- she had no idea what was going on but wanted to get out of the pishchaor and kept talking through it all!

onefootinthebed · 05/04/2015 15:02

Thanks guy.....

chasingtherainbow · 05/04/2015 15:40

So 7+5 here and have had lots of lightly coloured green, thick (snotty!) Cm.

Anyone else?

MsJupiter · 05/04/2015 15:49

Furtling is investigating your intimate areas!

Chasing I am having lots of cm but not green. i am sure it's nothing but maybe worth getting checked?

Happy Easter all.

chasingtherainbow · 05/04/2015 15:58

Am not worried.. I believe it's 'golden cm' which has been an indication of pregnancy all 3 times for me, during 2ww. But there's quite a bit today and yesterday and was interested to see if others had it, wonder if it's relevant to a certain stage of development.

epskie · 05/04/2015 18:11

Haha, ok no more furtling for me then! I am thinking of phoning and booking in with the midwife on Tuesday though, just so I can ask some questions and allay some fears? If anything is going to go wrong then the date I book in with the midwife isn't going to change that is it. Do any of you agree?

I love the term 'wolf smell' - that's exactly what it is!

chasingtherainbow · 05/04/2015 18:34

Go ahead and start the process Epskie. I don't believe in tempting fate or anything like that and should the worst happen it's so much easier to get help if you're on the books as a confirmed pregnancy.

X

Amyyy27 · 05/04/2015 18:44

I agree get the ball rolling epskie :)

chasing i am still having golden cm!

epskie · 05/04/2015 18:46

Thanks girls - I will! What's the golden CM? I don't think I've heard of it before x

epskie · 05/04/2015 18:47

I mean I understand what it is! But should I be watching out for it?

chasingtherainbow · 05/04/2015 18:49

I don't think everyone gets it! I'd certainly never heard of it prior. I think it's just a pregnancy symptom. I had it in both mc and successful pregnancy and again now so I don't think it holds much in the way of indicating how things are going. X

epskie · 05/04/2015 18:52

I kind of hope I get it just to see what it is! X

chasingtherainbow · 05/04/2015 18:55

It's not very glamorous, very much like vag snot Grin

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 05/04/2015 19:44

Pant snot. Lovely, that Grin Grin Something to do with mucus plug forming perhaps? I was astonished when I went into labour with dd and lost my plug. The size of my first, it was.

Haha delightful! Oh guy i didnt think the plug was that big! Pregnancy is so beautiful Grin

Well hope you are all ok! I had been getting better with my sickness until today and back to being bad again :( even had to get out the bath to vom and the bath normally helps!

My wolf smell isnt helping. I had a barney with OH for making himself steak which stunk! And can you believe he wouldnt eat it outside! Wink i had to retreat upstairs in a right huff! Can still smell it everywhere borrrrk!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 05/04/2015 21:27

I am sleeping in the spare room because I can't stand the smell of my DH. I usually love his smell. But now he smells like he is rotting. My poor lovely DH. He is being very understanding. I was the same with dd pregnancy.

Amyyy27 · 06/04/2015 08:26

Aww guy its tough isn't it! Any idea how long it lasts? Please don't say all the way through!!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 06/04/2015 08:35

Wolf smell and nausea stated to go by 9/10 weeks for me with dd. I felt perfectly fine by 11 weeks.
But everyone is different. With two babies in there, I have no idea how I will feel this time!

northdownmummy · 06/04/2015 09:23

Wolf smell hasn't been too bad for me this time. The perma nausea is starting to ease a wee bit at 10+4. I have spells when I'm tired or hubgry( i.e. Gone 2 hrs without eating)
I've finally relaxed a bit after may scan, allowing myself to think more than a few days ahead. We even had a chat about maternity leave eeekkk

chasingtherainbow · 06/04/2015 10:03

Wooo maternity leave!

8 weeks today - I thought it was Monday tomo doh!

My boobs are heavy and tender, Nipples quite sensitive. Nausea constant. . Very bad if I go 2-3 hrs with no food. Little but tearful and very tired. Need to get better at going to bed!
