With my twins I was induced at 38 weeks (that's the point at which it was hospital policy to induce) and even then my body was not ready to give them up in a hurry. It was a forceps delivery in the end.
There is every chance of going to term with twins. Try not to worry about that.

mrsj - Sorry didnt read your posts so insensitive of me. I really hope your ok today. If you go down to A and E hun today they will refer you to EPU because you have a pink spotting.
I know how u feel hun ive had 2 mc in the past its heart breaking and I think all of us on this thread are so anxious atm its worst than the 2ww.

Its a fu*king farce here. Blatantly didn't have an appointment at 10. Sat waiting still, nearly passing myself. I've been told I can go for a wee and refill my bladder. FFS. I'm scared - scared there's nothing there and scared there is. And OH has had to go to get ds, so I'm on my own anyway.

I have a baby in there :-) Relieved is not adequate a description! She wasn't going to date but did approx at 10+4. I'm going to get on to the teaching hospital and see about scan because only 3 weeks for nuchal.

I got the job! Woohoo! No start date yet though have to wait and speak to their HR manager next week and go from there... scary! Trying not to feel guilty about the baby... I just want to do what is best and this new job is definitely the best thing!

Afternoon everyone,

Have very mixed emotions after my scan. I am measuring around 5 weeks 4 days no heartbeat has been detected. She sad they would never of scanned me this early anyway they wanted to just check was not ectopic. I took a clear blue saturday before last and said I was 2-3 weeks pregnant making me 4-5 weeks I think? On Thursday I got my first 3+ weeks making me 5 weeks which would be right. Took another clear blue test just now showing 3+ weeks andI think if baby had stopped then would of shown 2-3 weeks again.
Booked in for 24th April next scan where she said they will see a heart beat but I am a nervous wreck now. She told me there was nothing to worry about and something kept catching her eye but just was not strong enough to detect. On a positive note no bleeding no pains hoping dates are wrong and conceived later than I thought.
