Guy remember how we were all willing a bit of backache in our 2ww as a 'sign'? Flowers my bets are you've got two babies putting strain on your body. I've got backache also. Try not to fret xxx

Epu lasts till 18 weeks here x

onefootinthebed · 02/05/2015 08:41

Some good news on the scans.

Guy hope your back ache has eased this morning.

I have a private scan at 11.30 and I am so pleased after my sickness yesterday. I went to bed feeling awful and have woke up feeling abit normal. Still nervous though.

Amyyy27 · 02/05/2015 08:45

guy I get backache quite a lot and you have 2 babies in there! I'm sure there's nothing to worry about just take it easy x

Amyyy27 · 02/05/2015 08:46

Oh good luck onefoot! Fx for you x

gennibugs · 02/05/2015 10:54

Good luck today onefoot!

guy I have backache quite a bit, I know we are all different but I think it's quite common at this stage.

amy ouch to your foot!

I too want to start enjoying things. I have told myself after next weeks scan I am going to try my hardest to if everything is ok. I know things can still go wrong but we were ttc for quite a while and it just feels like it's been one thing or another for the best part of 3 years. My sister is home this weekend (she lives overseas) and she is so excited for us, just for a moment last night when I met up with her I allowed myself to join in her excitement and it felt so nice....and normal Grin

Amyyy27 · 02/05/2015 11:09

Aww genni that's lovely im glad you got to be excited for a little while and hopefully after a good scan next week you can start enjoying it :)

Amyyy27 · 02/05/2015 12:21

Thinking of you onefoot hope it's good news x

chasingtherainbow · 02/05/2015 12:36

One foot hope you've enjoyed a lovely scan this morning.

How you feeling guy?

I'm feeling distinctly less sick and marginally less tired all if a sudden and am now seriously panicking.

12 days till scan. It'll have been 7 weeks since last scan then and it feels like forever.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 02/05/2015 14:38

Still feeling achy and heavy. I'm going to try not to panic and just put it down to the fact that I'm constipated. Scan a week on Monday.

What a day I have had, communion at 10 am,scan at 11.30 luckily it was just round the corner I forgot about the communion when I booked the scan. Party then care home visiting and grocery shopping crazy day.

All was good showing rights tracker showing 9-6. I got loads of pics but can't upload them. Just two more weeks till my 12 week then I will feel like I can tell people and start to get excited and be able to think of the future .

Amyyy27 · 02/05/2015 19:07

That's great onefoot what a relief! Smile

Glad things are going well onefoot

onefootinthebed · 02/05/2015 22:04

Erm crazy post but I need to ask as I think Facebook is stalking me.

I rarely post on Facebook I am just nosey, like on here really. I decided to get attached to you ladies and post more, this is the most I have ever really got involved and I've been reading Mumsnet for about 3 years.

Each time I log on to fb lately there are adverts about pregnancy one way or another. The one that really shocked me was a life insurance advert that said are you 39 and pregnant you could get life cover for ......

Am I being paranoid ?

chasingtherainbow · 03/05/2015 07:10

Yep if I Google say certain buggies for a few days it comes up in fb ads. I think fb has this thing so it monitors your interests and filters ads that you are likely to click on.... its shitty and a bit scary when you think about it!

Gr33dyeggs · 03/05/2015 07:12

No. I think its the cookies thing. Don't worry though I don't think others see your adverts. This happens a lot when I look for holidays. It's all over Google too. I may be entirely wrong though. I just has the cutest baby bean bags pop up though. Considering getting one. I must be so gullible Blush

I had an awful dream about heavy bleeding. I wasn't pregnant in the dream but it's shook me up and I read some very sad stories on here last night. The worry will never end!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 03/05/2015 07:13

That's what cookies are. When you go on websites, they pop a tiny piece of script onto your computer which tells the website server what you've done there- meaning they can then do targeted advertising. It's disconcerting.
