That is pretty incredible poo it took four months for AF to even appear after I stopped taking the pill! Good work Grin

chasingtherainbow · 01/05/2015 15:04

Definitely still super sperm. ..when we got pregnant with dd and with this baby dh got the job done first month trying too!

Barbiedoll79 · 01/05/2015 16:56

Congratulations sweats and keys really pleased

When I saw 13 and 14 weeks on this thread j was like omg that's amazing then realised that lots of us are nearing that stage really :-) (I'm 11+ 3 today) and makes it seem so much more real!! X

Amyyy27 · 01/05/2015 17:33

barbie I was the same! I can't believe how far we have came. I think I never expected to get this far with no issues (that I'm aware of).

Well off to the drop in centre for me. One thing after another! Think I have either a stress fracture or pulled muscle in my foot, I can't put any weight on it... which is strange because I actually haven't done anything that I'm aware of, its just been getting worse since the first ache yesterday :(

keys27 · 01/05/2015 17:42

Thanks guys. So glad yours went well sweats.

I cant believe you guys have hit that milestone. I am sure everything will be just fine. I Still am in shock I am 9 weeks and made it this far. 3 weeks to go for my scan dont seem possible. However nervous for that scan making sure baby is healthy enough to carry on with the pregnancy.

Does anyone know how they know if the baby has Downs syndrome is it the size of head to body or is it found in fluid in the neck or is it in the blood?

mrsthoree3009 · 01/05/2015 18:02

iv just recently had the downs test done. they take measurements from the back of neck on scan and you have blood test done. They combine the 2. was told if its high risk they call within 3-5 working days and if low risk they write to you within 2wks.

I havent had the call phew! was worried because the baby we lost in 2012 because of a cystic hygroma had tests done in her after and had severe downs!

all been a bit worrying...but wer in the clear thankgod Smile

keys27 · 01/05/2015 18:05

Oh wow mrs what traumatic news for you at the time :( I bet you were nervous this time around.

I have a DD with cerebral palsy and its so hard for her poor little fighter.

Thats my next worry step now making sure baby is healthy.

mrsthoree3009 · 01/05/2015 18:11

yes I was completely over anxious since I found out (had 2 mc's after that baby aswell). since I had scan on monday I have allowed myself to get excited Smile cnt wait now!

the wait for scans are so annoying...hoping these 3wks go quickly for you!

keys27 · 01/05/2015 18:15

Thanks huni. congratulations on a healthy pregnancy :). Wont be long until everyones posting the genders much more relaxed scans :).

PooSweats84 · 01/05/2015 18:31

Our DS has Down's and so we went for the extra blood test and had the nuchal screening today as a precaution, neither of which were available when I was pregnant with him so it was very strange to us! Nuchal fold needs to be within 3.5mm for it to be classed as normal, ours was showing 2.2mm today, but our risk will automatically be higher as we've got DS anyway, hoping I don't hear anything in the next week, but we know what to expect if we do! No heart trouble and could see a nasal bone so the signs are all good so far!

PooSweats84 · 01/05/2015 18:32

And thank you for all the congrats and good wishes btw! Grin

keys27 · 01/05/2015 18:36

Awww sweats we both know then what its like to have a LO with special needs. I bet DS is so loving. I dont know if you see the news the other day but there now saying you can test for it in the urine?

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/05/2015 18:37

Oof I don't know keys. I remember the 20 week scan being really stressful as that is where they look closely at every body part to make sure everything is working correctly.

keys27 · 01/05/2015 18:51

I didnt even think of that guy. Suppose being slightly naive thinking after 12 week scan we would all be in the clear. I really want to enjoy this pregnancy as its going to be my last one. It would be to dangerous to have anymore c sections after this and got my babies to think about. Im trying so hard to relax and get excited but because of everything ive been through in the past its hard to relax.

I am sure we are going to be fine I have a good feeling for us ladies xxx

Gr33dyeggs · 01/05/2015 18:57

Glad the scans went well today ladies!
And sorry sickness is back. I was very sick b4 work too. My ds came to keep me company now he knows - he's Sooooooo many questions but is excited. It's lovely but scary. I just hope it all works out ok now.

keys27 · 01/05/2015 19:00

gr33dy I am sure all will be fine hun. Sorry you've been feeling so poorly. They cheer you up so much when your feeling rubbish dont they. How old is he hun?

Anyone know when one born every minute starts up again? Will anyone be watching it now? I cant wait for it to come back on.

Gr33dyeggs · 01/05/2015 19:09

Thanks keys I really hope its smooth sailing for us all now!

DS is 6. He is lovely a lot of the time - loving and cuddly. After a few wobbles about trying got a second, his responsible made me so glad we did. What about yours ?
OBEM at liverpool has just finished I think. I was looking for it yesterday on catch up and it's gone Sad

I have two DD's one 5 and the other 2. I haven't told her just yet as I am not sure how she is going to react. The thing is when I had DD2 we was rushed to a hospital an hour away from home and she went from being attached to mummys side to out of nowhere and no warning I was not there for a week and then after I come home I was back and fourth to that hospital then when we did finally come back to our local we back and fourth to Great Ormond Street for emergency operations. So I am trying to work out how I am going to tell and for her to feel reassured that mummy wont be leaving her again its really hard. I think I will wait until I show and she asks me but I really dunno hun its a hard one. The last thing I want is for her to worry.

I did watch the liverpool one on and off but as I was unsure of the pregnancy I was upsetting myself. I did see that they said they were back soon so hoping it will be back soon.

PooSweats84 · 01/05/2015 19:26

No I'd not seen that keys , it's amazing what they can do now since DS was born and he's only coming up 9 in June! I told DD when she came in from school today, she was beside herself and is helping out ALOT around the house now which is rather lovely! Smile

Amyyy27 · 01/05/2015 21:00

When I was off work One Born was on at 3pm on Really. I love it!

Back from the drop in and I have pulled a ligament type muscle in my foot due to crouching on my toes when being sick... Fantastic! Need to rest it over the weekend and she said as I've only been in pain one day it will get worse over the next few days :( damn it!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/05/2015 21:22

Feeling paranoid today. Got bad backache same as I had before mc Sad

Gr33dyeggs · 01/05/2015 21:44

Oh no guy. I'm going to say perhaps it's just growing pains, but I know this won't reassure you. Bank holiday weekend is even worse :-( When are you due a scan?

keys27 · 02/05/2015 06:46

guy do they do emergency scanning at your local hospital if you go to the urgent care centre? Now your not under EPU anymore I didn't know if they would have an emergency scanning operation in force as babies are classed as not early pregnancies anymore?
When you had this pain last time did you start bleeding Hun with it? I know nothing we say is going to help ease your worry Hun but could it be added pressure on your back as you have two babies growing inside I can imagine your ligaments are stretching overtime.
Hugs I hope the pain wears off very soon. Xx

Oh no amyyyy your not having much luck in this pregnancy are you :(. Hope it gets better soon.

Amyyy27 · 02/05/2015 08:17

Thanks keys, I know I'm just fed up atm and the hormones aren't helping at all :( need some good news next week to pick me up!
