Think it would be really cool to keep up a thread with ladies due around the same time and we can all discuss our daily problems and have a good bitch! Something to pass the oh so agonising days and see how people's pregnancies are progressing compared to eachothers (so we can get really jealous when they go into labour lol) x

Gorgeous baby girl arrived by ELCS on Tuesday weighing 9lbs 9oz. Never ceases to amaze me how much you fall in love with them over the first days. She is amazing & her big bro & sis love her.

Best of luck to those of you still waiting, it's worth it all and in no time you will be out the other side!

bigfam · 29/01/2015 17:51

WOW !! The last four days have been a crazy whirlwind but I am pleased to announce that I finally have birth to a b2b beautiful baby girl called Daisy Bluebell ! After battling for the last few days the result was a very straight forward and natural water birth where by my partner delivered her for her first breath !!

Congratulations to all the other ladies who have given birth to happy healthy little bubbas !! X

araminem · 31/01/2015 09:43

Huge congratulations to those who have their lovely little ones already!

LinzAJ · 31/01/2015 18:38

I'm still here 5 days overdue and baby going nowhere!! Roll on consultants appointment on Monday. I just want to meet my baby now...

araminem · 31/01/2015 19:00

OK...This might sound like a stupid question, but is it very clear that you are getting contractions? i.e. are they always very painful? I am getting some very mild period-like pains and tightening of the stomach. However, the pain is way below being unmanageable. I am a bit concerned as my mother always had very quick labours with no significant pain until the last 30-45 minutes, so she is not being very reassuring Wink

FTRsGotAShinyNewNN · 31/01/2015 20:09

4 days over now, 3 sweeps, 2cms and no baby Hmm
Had an appointment with consultant yesterday but I'm so unsure whether I'd rather be induced or have an elcs that they're bringing me back on Friday to make the decision. I so hope she's here by then so that I don't have to decide Confused

MaximumVolume · 02/02/2015 10:57

araminem I was never sure in my first labour. Things went on for days on end after even the midwives thought I was in established labour! I ended up exhausted & stuck at 4cm & having ARM & syntocin drip, which got him out in about 4 hours from start of intervention!

This time I've been having lots of BH but they don't really fit the description of BH (sometimes lasting 1.5-2 minutes every 5-10 minutes for an hour or so, but not ever carrying on so far!).

I think that the people who say "you'll know" have only experienced textbook labour!

gincamelbak · 02/02/2015 13:15

I had regular contractions yesterday! Hooray! Which stopped after about an hour.

39+3 today. Going to day care assessment tomorrow for final scan to make sure baby hasn't gone back to breech. He finally turned cephalic last week so fingers crossed not moved back. Midwife said she would try a sweep tomorrow too.

Spending the time watching series 1 of Downton Abbey. Is more ridiculous than I remember!

LinzAJ · 02/02/2015 13:30

Hello All,

I am still waiting - had hospital appt with consultant today who has booked me in for an induction on Thursday if nothing has happened before then! Naughty baby...

GailLondon · 02/02/2015 19:02
