is anyone due in the next couple of weeks and wants to keep a thread up with their daily struggles alongside me (mine being pre-labour!)

Think it would be really cool to keep up a thread with ladies due around the same time and we can all discuss our daily problems and have a good bitch! Something to pass the oh so agonising days and see how people's pregnancies are progressing compared to eachothers (so we can get really jealous when they go into labour lol) x

I've been up in the night with 'pains' but this morning have become more regular this being my first baby I'm slightly scared and have this horrible feeling of not knowing what to do with myself !! I think this could be it !! Blush

Can I join in?!

I'm due tomorrow and I've been having pains for a while now...A good couple of weeks but been told it's just my body preparing. 2 days ago they got longer and regular with a definite pattern and then they stopped completely.

The only way I can sleep comfortably is on my back which I don't want to do and my hips and bump are so so sore :(

come on baby! hurry up!

My beautiful little girl arrived at 9.31 this morning after 4.5 hours of labour weighing 8lbs 3oz, she's perfect!
I'll be checking for updates with u ladies still, good luck everyone xxx

Hi ladies, I am due on Feb 12th and at my mw appt last week she said she very much doubted I'd make it to my due date so it feels like any time now! Have had a couple of false alarms with pains and contractions but no show or anything yet. Don't finish work for another week and a half so ploughing on through... Cannot wait to get my little girl out!

I had the mw this morning and had a sweep - she could feel the head and thought I was 1-2cm so hopeful that I might get going soon.

Can I join? 39+6 with DC2, was induced with DD who arrived on her due date so first natural labor for me (hopefully).

Went to bed with backache last night, woke at 5 feeling rubbish so snoozed until 6am. Started with backache and period type pains on getting up which have progressed to uncomfortable irregular contractions and some plug loss.

Someone please tell me this is it! Or keep your fingers crossed for me Grin

Congratulations, Bigfam!

I'm so disappointed this morning! Not only am I still pregnant when DS had already been born by now (at 39+2, I'm now 39+3), but I had 45 minutes of what I really thought were good contractions, 1.5-2 minutes long every 6-10 minutes at about half three this morning. Not strong but I thought they'd develop and instead they disappeared! Thought I'd be heading into hospital about now!

Aargh, I hope it's soon!

HI everyone
Due date today but no signs of anything happening - midwife will offer a sweep at our appointment later today. Fingers crossed it will get things going! This is my first pregnancy so keen to hear any sweep stories from the more experienced ladies if you're happy to share...

Hmm I know this is irrelevant, but an above poster (deborahc123) had a post removed on this thread yesterday, did a name search and it seems a LOT of this posters comments have been removed, I hope it wasn't something horrible about my pic of my baby I posted Angry
