happy I swear I had the same problem, it started at almost 8 weeks. In fact I had to ask on here for reassurance, I was so worried Sad. The bloating got bad later, at around 8.5-9 weeks but nausea and boobs feeling sore sort of faded before 8 weeks.
Now (10w3d) I get both morning and evening sickness, but not everyday.
But for some people, most of them from what I've read, these symptoms lessen at around 9-10 weeks because (as sunbathingcat said) the placenta takes over.

Skinnylegs33 · 14/01/2015 12:44

Congrats tori !!
What is cord donation?!Blush

CommanderShepard · 14/01/2015 12:45

It's a good day for the posifrickitivities! Grin Seriously wonderful news.

My boobs have decided I'm pregnant. Dear god, they're not small to begin with but I've got boulders strapped to my chest (I did mistype that as builders. Oops.)

Thanks Holly, that's useful to know. Great news those who had good scans today

broodylicious · 14/01/2015 13:01

I donated cord blood too and no hesitation in doing so again. The lady from Antony Nolan made me cry actually as she said it was ace quality and I'd be saving lives!

Our baby was stretched out, totally horizontal, then kicking and squirming like a loon! The sonographer said all her babies this week so far have been wrigglersGrin

happygojo · 14/01/2015 13:02

I hope everything is ok, it is just the not knowing really I suppose. I checked my bank account an do don't really have a spare £100 for a viability scan, and by pay day I will be almost 12 weeks anyway! I am hoping the MW gets me in for a scan soon after my booking in next Monday. I won't be able to hide my anxiety! Thanks for your comments and congrats to all the lovely scan people today! X

Littlelady33 · 14/01/2015 13:03

Broody hurrah! So pleased x

CallingAllEngels · 14/01/2015 13:44

Thanks for all the congratulations and best wishes. Someone asked how big he was...7lb 15 oz.

Currently being looked after by my kraamzorg who's helping me with bf, ds1 and doing all my househol chores. Something to look forward to if you are staying in NL mslad !

Mslad · 14/01/2015 13:50

yaaaaay Broody I've a big smile on my face for you! and Tori congrats on 20 week scan Smile

such lovely news calling hope you're enjoying this time with your new little one. I am vaguely aware of what the kraamzorg is- is it weird having someone in your house like that?

longestlurkerever · 14/01/2015 14:19

Yeay - great scan news! Congratulations everyone. xx

happygojo · 14/01/2015 14:21

I just googled a kraamzorg.... I wonder whether my bf would mind a hasty move to NL. It is where our company HQ is lol!

charlieis30 · 14/01/2015 14:37

a kramzorg sounds awesome. a dutch friend of mine said to me the other say "what do you mean you dont have someone come and help you with everything after the birth? how on earth do you cope?"
saying that, dh is actually pretty keen for us to get a helper in the first few weeks, particularly since all our inlaws are livig abroad.
still, 6 months to think about it!

Argh after being as healthy as I have been this pregnancy for about 2 weeks today I feel hideous hot and cold dizzy tired unbarably itchy amoung other things :( had oc bloods done today so should know tomorrow what's going on with those. Fed up I was really hoping to stay healthyish till baby made he appearance :(

worriedmum100 · 14/01/2015 15:40

My HCG results are in. They are 149 on 13dpo which means they've more than doubled every 48 hours since Saturday. So happy I cried - and at work too! One more beta on Monday to double check. God this is such a roller coaster. This feels like a hurdle overcome as for one of my prev mc it was clear from the hcg level very early on it wasn't going anywhere. I wish I could have a stiff drink.

CommanderShepard · 14/01/2015 15:50

Christ, worriedmum, I'm crying for you! Oh that's wonderful. And you're not even due on yet!

Oh hurray hurray hurray for a lovely day for so many of you Flowers
