So sorry to hear that goldie but really glad that they will see you earlier. Everything crossed for you.

KellyBird1980 · 12/01/2015 22:01

Hi ladies Smile

Quick question - I've come down with a terrible cold today, horrible aches and a fever. Am only around 3 weeks so terrified that this could effect things or harm the little bean (like everything else!). I've taken loads of vitamin C and a couple of panadol so will hopefully sleep it off tonight before it develops. Has anyone else been through a virus this winter? as I know it's going around at the moment! xx

Treaclepie19 · 12/01/2015 22:02

goldie I hope there is a lovely little bean hiding in there when you go xxx

Mummytogoldie · 12/01/2015 22:10

broodylicious · 12/01/2015 22:17

Thanks ToriB34 - that's good to hear. Wishing I had the flu injection a few months back now! ??

Littlelady33 · 13/01/2015 07:38

Hi Kelly I'm also in the grip of a cold from hell today, am 2% human, 98% phlegm and snot. I think paracetamol is fine. I've been lucky hardly ever get sick over the past few winters (my last cold was in 2011!) so I'm blaming my reduced immune system. A cold won't harm the baby though, just annoying for us! I'm also considering the flu jab for the first time now, I've never had flu so I was reluctant in the first few weeks but I'm now realising that my body needs a little more tlc than usual.
Broody yes indeed my scan is this morning - I was convinced I would never sleep but did. With weird dreams. Beyond terrified. Yours is tomorrow if I remember?

broodylicious · 13/01/2015 07:50

Yes I'm tomorrow at 1030. 27 hours and I'll know my fate ?? Best of luck today, I'll keep an eye out for your news! X

longestlurkerever · 13/01/2015 07:55

Oh dear Lord my boobs are so sore today - although, I'm thinking symptoms are good.

happygojo · 13/01/2015 09:02

Hope everyones scans go well! And goldie I hope you find answers. I am feeling awful this week (9 weeks) I have a migraine I just can't shake, a stuffy nose that won't clear and I feel sick Sad I am sat at work with a damp paper towel over my neck (hidden by scarf) but I feel awful! Someone said that 9 weeks ish is the peak before things get better and omg I hope they are right! I hope I have a healthy bean in there!

Littlelady33 · 13/01/2015 09:03

Good luck today longest!

CommanderShepard · 13/01/2015 09:30

Urgh.... feeling rotten. And it's DD's day at home with me today... fortunately she's being a doctor and I have to lie on the sofa.

charlieis30 · 13/01/2015 10:13

Getting progressively more worried about Thursday's 12w scan. DH is away for work so I'm going on my own, and I keep imagining having to tell him he has to come back, which would be really difficult as it's a super important trip. Topping it off a friend posted her 12w scan photo on FB yesterday, so if something goes wrong in this pregnancy there will be an almost-twin baby I have to look at pictures of. Faaaark.

Can finally update you all .

Baby Boy born on Friday 9th January. 12 days overdue and in the end mw broke my waters at home but a few complications so still ended up in hospital on induction drip.

This time last year we had just been given the all clear to ttc again after mc number 2. At home trying to establish bf and adjust to being a family of four. Thank you for your support ladies, espeically in the first trimester. Wishing everyone sticky beans and trouble free pregnancies. x

Treaclepie19 · 13/01/2015 10:20

Littlelady33 · 13/01/2015 10:26

Congrats calling wonderful news! Charlie that sounds tough is there a friend or relative who might go with you?

Phryn · 13/01/2015 10:28

Lovely news calling - congratulations!

Good luck to those being scanned today. Hope you see wiggly, happy healthy beans.

Welcome to the newcomers. lovely to see your names pop up Grin

CommanderShepard · 13/01/2015 10:33

Congratulations Calling! Really wonderful news.

charlieis30 is there anyone who could go with you? I have to be honest, at the moment as soon as anyone post scan pics I hid them from my feed temporarily. Just don't need the extra stress, especially as other people seem to be so positive from the word go (I looked at the antenatal thread for September and was Shock) when I just can't be. I'm still half-convinced this is going to go very wrong and that yes, I'm pregnant, but I'm probably not having a baby.

Hi phryn! :)

commander I have to say, I feel the same. I'm enjoying join in with the symptoms and future plans but I really can't be truly excited until I know all is ok.

Littlelady33 · 13/01/2015 10:56

Commander I had to block pg friends on facebook last year, I was happy for them but when the due dates were close it was just hard to cope with. I think a bit of self preservation is natural.
