Great news little! Good luck tori and broody.
My hospital offers the reassurance scan at 7 weeks but 8 weeks probably even better if you can hold out. x

Babytinx11 · 13/01/2015 18:03

skinny the margins on am early scan are so tiny I wouldn't worry about dates being out mine jumped around all over the place at my early scans :)

BB01 · 13/01/2015 18:26

Thanks for the advice re scan dates! Tori yes I am of the same logic. Also the worst thing about my miscarriage was that I spent ten weeks thinking all was ok when it hadn't been since about six weeks. It is hard to draw the line and not just book weekly scans to check!

BB01 · 13/01/2015 18:27

Tori not sure whether it's you who was on a thread with me before but either way many congrats on your pregnancy!

HollyBen · 13/01/2015 18:28

bb my epu do reassurance scans at 8 weeks (though they will scan earlier for problems) as they say this is when there is best chance if seeing hb.

Mslad · 13/01/2015 18:44

Lots of good news today! Congrats calling I've been thinking about you! & longest & little brilliant scan news!!

Sorry to hear so many are suffering the first trimester anxiety. It's really awful & while I don't think it ever fully goes away after a miscarriage, hopefully you'll begin to feel a bit better after your 12 week scan.

skinny can you not do the combined test and only think about harmony ipec you get high risk results from that?

Good luck tomorrow broody what time is your scan?

silverine · 13/01/2015 18:48

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/01/2015 18:50

It's lovely to see how many babies have been born on the list.

broodylicious · 13/01/2015 20:05

Thanks ms. I'm up at 1030. Hoping they won't be running late but as I know from sad personal experience why they're often running late, I shan't be angry. I'm taking sunbathing's good advice and plan to tell the sonographer as soon as I get in that I'm ridic anxious and hope she'll give the verdict ASAP. I just hope I'm not called into the same room where I was scanned just after losing the last baby (I was 12 weeks, mc a few hours before my first scan, I knew I'd passed baby) or by the same lovely sonographer because right now I don't think I'd be able to get through the door out of bad memories. What will be, will be as they say....

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/01/2015 20:12

First food aversion - sticky toffee pudding. What's that about?

tannyLoo · 13/01/2015 20:22

Silver how did we get so far up the list??? Oh my fucking god!!!!

Got a difficult day tomorrow, but wishing you good luck with scans. Definitely a good idea to let them know about previous MCs, I did that and they were lovely...

Treaclepie19 · 13/01/2015 20:24

The thought of sauce earlier made me feel sick. We went for a Mexican night and I couldn't eat enchiladas.
Good luck broody, sending hugs and egg 'n' spoons - which I am currently eating.

thesmallbear · 13/01/2015 20:24

Wow, the thread is moving quickly, I can't keep up! Congrats to those with baby news and successful scan news! Smile Good luck to those being scanned tomorrow!

I went to my first pregnancy yoga class today. There was a woman there who's due date is the day before mine. Her bump is loads bigger than mine! I thought I was showing quite early, but maybe not then. I have bump envy Wink

Skinnylegs33 · 13/01/2015 20:28

broody lots of luck tomorrow! I didn't have to tell them how anxious I was yesterday. I was shaking uncontrollably and I couldn't even recognise my own voice, that's how trembly it was. My husband told me I looked like a scared little mouseBlush or Angry better.
Before the scan the dr asked my previous mmc dates and I could not remember!!Not even the year, could not remember whether is was 2013 or 2014. It was as if my brain had been wiped clean and the empty space had been filled with terror.

Littlelady33 · 13/01/2015 20:35

Good lunck tomorrow Broody! I should have added my stats for the next updates but I'm now due 25th July

silverine · 13/01/2015 20:46

Haha tanny, I know! I moved the 3 ladies before gail down to 'need updates' as I hadn't seen them at all on the last couple of threads. Hopefully they'll come back and let us know as I remember some from way back. 7 weeks to go sounds scary though, doesn't it!

silverine · 13/01/2015 20:48

Haven't seen radley, badgers and david in eons either, so after gail pops, it's just blank and then us!! Shock
little I amended you on my list. Would anyone else like to be added over the next few days?

FlightofFancy · 13/01/2015 21:00

Hi all - may I join you for some much needed positivity please? I'm just under 6 weeks pregnant (...today anyway) after a MMC last summer. I've got a 5yr old DS, which was a really straightforward pregnancy.
I'm particularly nervous as didn't find out I'd miscarried until we got to the 12 week scan - apparently it had all gone wrong around 5 weeks but I'd had no idea and no change in symptoms or bleeding. Was really tough.
Am tempted to book a private early scan for 8 weeks - but haven't spoken to DH about this yet. If it does go wrong, I'd rather know sooner.
I've got a few symptoms - weeing lots, sore boobs, indigestion - about the same as both previous pregnancies - good and bad one - so hard to make anything of them.
Sorry if I'm not around all the time - but it's lovely to see other peeps good news!

silver holly 7 weeks I can't believe it feels like yesterday that we were stressing about early scans and stuff I honest didnt think I'd get this far Smile midwife confirmed plan from the consultant to start sweeps and eviction process for baby at 38 weeks Shock scary stuff and getting really worried about how ds is going to cope. His teacher called me in today to say he hasn't been himself and is very unsettled as well as getting very tearful for no reason :( it's all starting to feel very very real.

Mummytogoldie · 13/01/2015 22:50

I have got serious scanxiety for tomorrow :( x
