Im also 39 weeks today! unfortunately googling reveals the daily mail are the only ones willing to support thr full moon=baby theory but at this point thats good enough for me!

Pregnantagain7 · 08/10/2014 14:34

I'll join! 39 +2 and been having on off contractions since a sweep on Monday. Dc4 for me does it not realise I should sneeze and it flies out! All this faffing about is getting to me. Come on moon do your worst Grin

DinoSnores · 08/10/2014 14:40

I'm 40+10 so willing to try anything!

Zara8 · 08/10/2014 14:41

39 weeks today here too!

I am willing to believe any woo theories right now that equal baby OUT

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 14:42

Oooh I am 37 1/2 weeks and so so over being pregnant now that a full moon labour would be exciting! However I also have tickets to see a stand up comedian tomorrow night so at this point id be happy to wait til friday.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 14:43

Ruth the MWs at my labour ward are massive supporters of the full moon theory Grin they mark their calendar.

Fissawissa · 08/10/2014 14:57

My friend is a MW & says full moon nights are their busiest!
So far today I have eaten 2 full pineapples whilst burning clary sage oil & I may have put some directly onto my sleeve to sniff too.

What's depressing is that I was excited about the last full moon... and I'm still bloody well here. I'm not excited about ANYTHING that might make things happen anymore. 40+10 and am resigned to induction at the weekend. Pah.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 15:09

Just checked the Full Moon calendar for 2011 which was the year dd was born and it was full the night of the 18th december.

She was due 16th, contractions started morning of the 18th, born 4am on the 19th.

Of course, that could be coincidental.

devoncreamtea · 08/10/2014 15:23

OOOh! That's enough for me think 38 weeks and feeling it now.

Good luck everyone!

duvetfan · 08/10/2014 15:30

39 weeks tomorrow. Can I join too? Grin

Errrr2012 · 08/10/2014 15:48

I'm 39+3 and booked in for induction on Sunday because of BP issues. But I'd take a helping hand from the full moon to get baby out before then though!

Fissawissa · 08/10/2014 16:17

I hope it works for at least one of us!
I'm so over it now Confused

I'm only 37 1/2 weeks but would be perfectly happy to be holding a baby by tomorrow!

Come on the moon!!

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 17:08

Anyone else in a right grump? Ive just been to collect my DD from my mums (she goes every wednesday) and her hous was like a fucking sauna. Shes also just told me she is off to Scotland for the next three days as a relative has died (wife of her brother) so she wants to go and visit - she is my childcare for DD when I go into labour but has kindly suggested my sister step in - who has never even minded DD for half an hour before.

I know if I wasnt 37 1/2 weeks I would be totally fine and understanding but right now im thinking "who wants fucking house guests the day after your bloody mother dies!?"

I know Im a bad person Sad

ohthegoats · 08/10/2014 17:33

Hacked - I'm FUMING. Been angry for the last 3 hours. Fucking sick of hearing about other people having babies nowhere near their due dates (yes, this is uncharitable), fed up of heartburn, couldn't breath for an hour earlier just because someone's feet were stuck in my lungs - couldn't sit up properly either due to said feet being wedged. At the height of my annoyance I called and booked a sweep for tomorrow having been fighting against having ANY intervention for the last 2 weeks. I just can't do it anymore. Raaaaaah.

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 17:41

?clings to Goats?Thank god. Ive had a little cry and sent my mum a message to apologise for being a grumpy cow and DD and I have just had a dance round the living room and ate chocolate cake.

Am fucking sick of being pregnant.

Fissawissa · 08/10/2014 18:06

I've been a bitch for the last few days - getting sly digs in at my DH, threatening to hire a doula as he is obviously going to be a shit birth partner. He was perfect first time round!
Luckily I have no family around to annoy me or I would have been done for murder by now Grin

OP posts:
Pregnantagain7 · 08/10/2014 21:27

Anyone howling yet? Grin

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 21:47

Nope. Got a horrible dull ache around my lower back abd tingles up and down my thighs but have had aches and pains for weeks so Im not holding out much stock!

Fissawissa · 08/10/2014 22:00

Have been having BH every 8 mins or so with back pain - could be wishful thinking though.

OP posts:
ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 22:01

It also might not be BH Wink

Bellyrub1980 · 08/10/2014 22:49

Feeling lots of pressure in my pelvis. Sporadic braxton hicks and insomnia!

MundayCakes85 · 08/10/2014 22:57

Evening, 40+10 here and just had a bloody show. Been bouncing on my ball since then urging this baby out!! Fingers crossed some of us get lucky not like that, dirty minds tonight!

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 08/10/2014 23:02

Getting lucky "like that" might help Grin
