I never seemed to be able to keep up with the Antenatal Threads as they move so so fast, but now im 30weeks I thought it might be nice to have a general thread for those of us currently on the final leg.
Im expecting a boy at the end of October and have a dd who is currently 2y 8m. We had an eleven week loss last year so I am beyond chuffed to have had a so far successful pregnancy. Im starting to get very weary and my chest feels so full of my other organs at the moment!
Just returned from a few days away and realised the next time I use my little weekend bag will be for labour 
so Im going to start chucking stuff into it over the next few weeks.
I am all for baby staying in as long as they need but am so so keen to just getting this pregnancy over and done with.

hello, my waters went this morning but no dilation. 
At home for a sleep then it's all guns blazing to get that cervix going! Any ideas much appreciated.
Still pregnant!
Really pleased as I made it to my finish date at work on Friday at 38+4 - didn't think I would but I did 
I am REALLY pleased to be finished now though and it's just a waiting game. No signs of little 'un or any attempt by them to make a start though.

Ooh good luck Juni! What was it like when your waters went? Did you get 'warning' or did they just go?
Still nothing here although DP has a day full of finishing off DIY jobs and my friend is visiting tonight so kind of hoping it won't be until after tomorrow anyway!

Splendide - I was sign-free last pregnancy and boom, 3min contractions at 40+2 with dd born 24 hours, so your body may just whoosh you right into the thick of it soon.
Ah, amazing, congratulations! Sounds tough but you're through it now , hope you're feeling as well as can be expected!

Thanks! The MW did this amazing thing when he was crowning - she poured ice cold water onto my bits as the head was coming out and it was like heaven. Utter bliss. I said "I didnt even know that was a Thing" but I would recommend it.
