Anyone around the 30 week mark and want to keep each other company through this last slog?

I never seemed to be able to keep up with the Antenatal Threads as they move so so fast, but now im 30weeks I thought it might be nice to have a general thread for those of us currently on the final leg.

Im expecting a boy at the end of October and have a dd who is currently 2y 8m. We had an eleven week loss last year so I am beyond chuffed to have had a so far successful pregnancy. Im starting to get very weary and my chest feels so full of my other organs at the moment!

Just returned from a few days away and realised the next time I use my little weekend bag will be for labour so Im going to start chucking stuff into it over the next few weeks.

I am all for baby staying in as long as they need but am so so keen to just getting this pregnancy over and done with.

I'm 28 weeks now but am booked for my 3 c section at 37 weeks.

I'm an expat currently in between countries.

Dh is back in Asia finishing his final two weeks at work while I'm back in the uk nursing my dm through her second fight with Breast cancer.

I have a dd 4 and ds 2.

All going to plan we leave the uk on the 30th and start our next relocation in KL.

It's all go!

so hi, I am 34 weeks on Tuesday and trying not to get into countdown mode already. I have a couple more weeks at work and a 22 month old, both of which are pretty exhausting! I feel like I was fitter and smaller and had more energy last pregnancy, but I had neither the toddler nor the job at this stage last time - finished at 32 weeks last time round. Boyfriend says I am no bigger, I am just a woman and whingy about it.

I get odd bursts of energy and do lots, and I get through my hectic shifts just about, then am exhausted and go to bed. DD was 5 days late so grumpily expecting to go to term! Boyfriend is wonderful and does most of the housework and childcare now - I really shouldn't complain.

I don't have anything packed or sorted but I think it's all in my chaotic mess of a flat to be dug out somewhere Dressed DD pretty unisex last time as a wee baby so the clothes should be good to go (don't know what gender I'm having).

We may be moving house about a month after baby is born. This is all my fault for agreeing to it and I am being very cavalier about it. Still last time I felt a million times better once baby was out.

I'm very lucky to be having a straightforward pregnancy and my labour was very straightforward last time too, if quite long, so no genuine complaints, but I'd really LIKE to complain

I'm hoping for a home birth like last time (obviously forgetting my comment a few hours after birth of "well I'm never doing that again, if you want another child we'll have to adopt, and if I do give birth again I'm going to hospital to have an epidural!" haha! The things you strategically forget!)

ThinkI'vebeenhacked So happy for you that all is well with your pregnancy after losing a baby last year. That must have been so tough, especially with a wee toddler to look after.
I also know it's far better for a baby to get to 40 weeks but am simultaneously irrationally jealous of anyone who gets a baby at 36-38 weeks…! That's like a whole month LESS of being sodding pregnant! But I know it is good for baby to be fully cooked. I know I know.

barbie1 Wow - that's a lot on. I am so sorry to hear about your mother. Are the kids with you or your husband? You must be so tired - or maybe too busy to even realise how tired you are! I hope you get some tlc and someone to look after you a bit soon. xx

I'm on the September thread but thought Id join in here too. Am coming up for 36 weeks and have had enough now, am very grateful to be pregnant as Ive also experienced miscarriage but Im exhausted, uncomfortable and frequently tearful now!

Exactly 30 weeks today with no 2.. Have a 11 month old DS. Who keeps me busy.. I also feel like get this baby out of me but then I also think she has to stay in at least till 38 weeks

This time I'm expecting a girl. So excited

34+1 here and can't wait for it to be over now! Discovered first stretch marks this morning as well... Thought I'd got away with it

30weeks on Monday and trying not to count down!

This is my first and I'm a teacher, so luckily on six weeks hols at the moment. However, i am aiming to go back for 7 weeks and will leave work when I'm 38+3 (not sure I'm going to make it! Need to try so I can have more time off afterwards)

Everything is becoming a bit of a chore now and I REALLY miss riding my horse - still get to do other things with him but wish I could ride.

Oh, and I've just discovered my first stretch marks today :-( Two small areas underneath my bump, one on each side.

Im also 30 weeks booked in for an elective csection on the 15/10/2014, just under 9 weeks to go and I can't wait. I've got a little boy, he turned 2 in march. I'm just exhausted this time finding it quite hard at the moment x

I'm on the October thread but thought I'd pop in say hi!

I'm 32 weeks on mon with dc4. I have a 9yr old dd, a 3yr old dd and an 11 month old Ds. I've also had 3 mcs. I've had relatively straight forward pregnancy although was measured on wed and I'm measuring 6 weeks ahead so I'm off for another growth scan on tues to see what's going on.
Ds was 10lb8 so am slightly concerned about the size of this one!
Feel like I'm starting to slow down a bit now I'm very achey by the end of the day but carrying Ds around is probably not helping

38+4 and this is definitely definitely definitely the longest 10 days of my life... Probably longer... I am a moaning murtal but very very excited and lucky to become a mummy :)! I've only just packed my hospital bags and we are only just doing his nursery tomorrow :) good luck to you all x

I'm 33 weeks today. With dc2. Have a 28mth old dd. the tiredness is much worse this time (I think, could be my mind playing tricks on me). Hoping for a VBAC after an ELCS for breech last time. Due on 4th October, I verge from very excited to OMG how will I cope with two. Would be lovely to chat to people going through the same sorts of things, as haven't really done any antenatal stuff this time around.

Somebody asked if I was tired? To be honest I'm beyond tired, running on pure adrenaline. The children are with me and we are all staying in my parents spare room which is difficult on so my levels.

Between my dm and myself we have had 6 appointments at the local hospital this week so I'm beyond drained :(

Thankfully we have done a fair few foreign moves and the moving itself doesn't stress me out at all, in fact I love moving

This is the first summer I have spent with my dh (most expat wives head home for summer) and I will never do it again!

Am 31 weeks with my first baby, also with a due date of 25th October!

Am a teacher as well, so am absolutely relishing doing pretty much sod all for a couple of weeks. We are moving house in Sept though (stupid planning here!), so am expecting the last slog to be much more demanding than this bit. All the more reason to lie on my arse while I can, I say.

I'm 30 weeks with DC1 and convinced October is AGES away. I'm very lucky as I just finished work (bit of a backstory) so trying to enjoy this time that I've got free and not freak myself out about the birth too much. Easier said than done...

Can I join? 32 weeks today. So fed up plus feel guilty that I should be getting things ready but seriously cba. I've decided to breastfeed again so I'm being even more lazy because now I don't have to dig out the steraliser and bottles. I have dug out and washed my nursing bras though. Go me.

Anyone else think fucking hope things move faster once we get into September? It seems like I will be able to feel "nearly there" once im only a calendar month away.

I finish work 30th Sept and have NO handover to do whoop!! which I had to do last time and it drained me for the last few weeks last pregnancy.

My lovely mum is taking DD two days a week whilst im on Maternity Leave so I have two "days off" a week in the weeks before the baby comes and two "baby only" days once he arrives. As im FFing, ill have a DD day once a weekend too and leave bubs with DH.

My dd starts Nursery in January and im thinking itll be so nice getting to be the one who drops her off and picks her up every day (I work FT) for the whole of her first year there.

Sorry to hear about those who are just discovering stretch marks - lastpg I got to 38 weeks and was so smug that I had none til I realised I had tonns they were just all out of sight this time round I currently only can see the white lines of last time but Im expecting fresh.

I finished work at 28 weeks to spend the holidays with my 5yo before his brother arrives!

I am feeling very unmotivated when it comes to going out/getting ready at the moment - anyone else feel like this? however I am having extreme nesting! I don't want to do anything but clean all of a sudden it all needs to be perfect. I've had the carpets deep cleaned and I have been painting this weekend.
I am DefinAtely on a count down already, I can't help it!

haha there must have been a lot of us shagging on or around the first of February to have so many due the same day

Wonder if there was just really shit telly on that week.

I'll be 32 weeks on Tuesday and all of a sudden I'm finding it physically very tough. I've gone from basically being able to do what I need to, including going on holiday a few weeks ago, to struggling to do anything comfortably!

For the last week I've had a horrible pain in my lower right ribs whenever I sit, which is making even short car trips unpleasant. A few days ago (TMI warning) I suddenly found myself in piles hell and am hobbling around at the moment hoping there is time for them to clear up before I go into labour and turn myself inside out!

What a tale of woe. There are upsides: the preparations are beginning to take shape now and it feels good to start filling the house with baby things. I'm hoping that this stage of everything hurting is just temporary and I'll get a second wind before the baby arrives - looking at the chaos here while I'm not up to doing proper housework I reckon I'm in need of some serious nesting if the house is going to be ready...

Glad to have a thread for this last stage: like others I found I just couldn't keep up with the antenatal threads so it's nice to begin the countdown with you lot :-)

I defiantly feel like its dragging thinkivebeenhacked. Someone said to me I had ages left the other day and i could if burst into tears.

When did you all find out you were pregnant? I had a feeling I was and took a test on valentines day a few days before I missed my period which come back postive :) feel like I've known forever. X

Same - got a bfp on 14th Feb. Then went on holiday with 15 friends and family and had to keep my trap shut

I knew as soon as I had implantation pain - I just kept fingers and toes crossed til I got to the 12wk scan.

I wish id not found out til a good 16/18 weeks - would have flown!

Was going to test on Valentine's day but DH and I were away in a hotel and I knew if I got a positive I wouldn't be able to drink wine!!
So did the test on the 15th instead!
We had IVF, so was symptom spotting the whole time anyway.

Yy to the piles, Binglesplodge! Fucking awful. I have them again for the third time! They really make you miserable. Dreading 'pushing' in labour....

29 weeks tomorrow - due 1st November though I have a funny feeling I'll go earlier, not sure why.

Baby (boy) seems massive at the moment, stretching all the way from my right side to left, so I really think it'll be a 9 pounder by the end.

Very weary and counting down the days to finish work. Also am drinking prune juice every second night to keep the dreaded piles at bay. My digestion is as slow as a glacier these days. I suspect I should supplement the prune juice with Lactulose. ~sigh~
