Foody, Angel, do take your time.. . I'm quite happy at the bottom of the list and it will be months and months before... before whatever is allegedly supposed to be happening in August happens.... won't it?

Back from hospital, had false alarm last night. As soon as they strap you on to a monitor stabby pains stop.
Qazlet still breech, so we seem to be heading for a section on 18th of June.

Good news is that growth scan and bloodflow doppler were all bang on (head circumference a bit ahead - clench!).

Less good news is that I'm hungry, a little queasy and generally fed up with the hospital waiting room. And still 40 minutes to the end of the GTT...

All done and back home. Post-test banana was the best I ever tasted but really don't want any more sugar for now so there's a nice solid meal heating in the oven - can't wait!

so in between defrosting the freezer and batch cooking moussaka and bolognaise(both veg and meat) I have been (tmi) on & off the toilet all day.

Not sure if its the burger and onion rings I had last night, the result of a bit of constipation or a sign of my body getting slowely ready....

Good news jess. And don't worry about head circumference, we were 95ish%! Qaz lots of time yet...

Foody that was what happened to me the day before my waters went. If it is labour related it normally happens v close to things kicking off...

Ooh, I've had dodgy bowels lately (nice), excited that it could mean something!

All pretty much normal now, think its prob just ibs, poor diet and very slow gut. Was really painful though, kind of like contractions/trapped wind. Made my back and hips hurt too.

anyhow, major cooking sesdion complete with cauliflower and potato cheese bake done too. Freezer back in nd stocked up.

got back ache now thoughbgor over doing it!

came home yesterday aft. could do with more sleep!

birth was good! had the contractions all day. (as u know!) they were fine til just after tea when they got stronger and more frequent.
I just kept moving about a lot. rang hosp at 10pm they said stay home as I was managing, til 2-3 mins apart. went in at 11.30pm and he was born at 2.26am so really quick!
was 4cm dilated when we got there which went to 6 in about half hr. contractions then went mental and had lots of lovely gas&air!! (good stuff).

started on all 4s but ended up on bed to get him out. took me a bit to get hang of using pushing energy in right place and had an episiotomy to help him out.
Cos he had come down so quick his heart rate went down and they wanted him out. so hav stitches but they r not too bad but a bit sore!

sorry that's really long. hope not too tmi or rambling!

just cuddling puplet before he hopefully feeds then hope I will get back to sleep!

All sounds fab puppy (if a bit quick and dramatic! )
