Bushy ditto about the scan to what has been said, I was told to drink a pint of water an hour to half an hour beforehand. The thing to remember is you can always drink more once you get there if they need your bladder to be more full but its bloody hard to let a bit out if you drink too much!
Also they're obv trying for an abdominal scan but can always do a dildocam if needed which needs an empty bladder instead
