Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, first trimester(ish) with #1 after trying for a long time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Where is boom?

CatsCantFlyFast · 25/09/2013 11:08

Boom???

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 11:16

I'm here, I'm here - sorry, had to get back from Leeds and there were roadworks!

Two happy babies jiggling around with nice normal heartbeats Grin Grin Grin. Measuring 10+1 today so put me forward again by 3 days. So unbelievably relieved! Will try and get some photos up soon Grin Grin

Hooray hooray hooray!

Now I can get some work done

who am I kidding

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 11:21

Hmm, well I tried but every time I upload a new picture it overrides all my others! So there are 3 pictures of Twin 2 up at the moment. Random!

Thundercatsarego · 25/09/2013 11:31

Will you find out the sexes?

wonderful news boom!!! Grin Grin Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 25/09/2013 12:18

Phew sigh of relief. Great news!

CatsCantFlyFast · 25/09/2013 12:20

Boom I know nothing little about twins. Can they tell yet if they're identical or not? Is it something to do with the number of sacs / placentas???

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 12:59

Thank you everyone, still can't believe everything's actually ok!

Merk you can't tell. If they're sharing a placenta/sac then they're definitely identical, but if they aren't (these ones aren't) they could be either. It's likely they're non-identical though, because the Clomid probably made me chuck out two eggs at once. But if they're both the same sex and look similar when they're born, it could be a guessing game for a few weeks until it's obvious!

Thunder not sure yet, I don't want to but Mr Boom does. I like surprises! I think I'll win the argument eventually, but he's grumbling about it at the moment.

great news boom

kitty guess who was awake at 2am last night!!!

tired today and still ridiculously thirsty which in turn is making me wee a lot!

feeling a little more confident now about things and hav swapped my pregnacare conception for pregnacare plus cos it has fish oil to give it a good little brain and eyes!!

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 17:23

Glad you're feeling more confident puppy! I find it goes in peaks and troughs, some days I'm ok and some days I scuttle around under a thundercloud of doom. Hopefully today's scan will dissipate the cloud somewhat!

Have managed to get pics of both boombabies up I think. I even have a backwards one to keep thunder company!

BlindKitty · 25/09/2013 17:34

boom been thinking about you all day! Sooooo glad it went well! Love the pics!!!! Made me even more excited about my scan next Tuesday in 10 years

puppy ah well at least we have that as a symptom! Still feeling mostly fine here with exception of slightly sore boobs. Tmi but the brown discharge has stopped woop woop!

CatsCantFlyFast · 25/09/2013 19:09

I'm looking for the elusive glow, has anyone seen in? I am COVERED in spots including on my cheek Shock grr baby hormones and me are not compatible it seems

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 19:48

Not sure about the glow...I'm definitely not in possession of it. Just fatness and greed. Just ate 4 hard boiled eggs with salt

OP posts:
Thundercatsarego · 25/09/2013 19:57

No glow here. Feel like shit and look similar.

CatsCantFlyFast · 25/09/2013 20:38

Boom now v jealous of your hard boiled eggs

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 20:42

They were awesome. Now I feel sick though.

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 25/09/2013 20:48

Bleugh @ hard boiled eggs! If they're not soft and poached I'm just not going to bother!

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 21:24

What, even warm hard boiled eggs dipped in salt? Heathen...!

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 25/09/2013 21:29

Eurgh no! Need to be runny or not at all! Looks like I'm just going to have to have bacon for breakfast at the weekend!

Boomgoestheweasel · 25/09/2013 21:32

Scrambled? Scrambled is ok Grin

Quodlibet · 25/09/2013 21:33
