Is there anyone around who has just found out that they are pregnant and are due in Sept?
I know it's very early days but I thought maybe I could get the ball rolling...
I'm due around Sept 4th I think, with DC2, feeling very happy if a bit nervous :)

Been on the July flying bus/plane/carpet/mattress conception thread.
We tried for 6 months before managing it, still practically sh*tting bricks that it's all going to go wrong, but that hasn't stopped me poring over the internet and catalogues and picking out pushchairs and car seats, lol.

What day did you ladies test?
I found out Christmas Eve and wrapped up the stick for DH to open. His chin hit the floor! Still can't quite believe we've done it. This will be DC#1 for us, so mega excited.

I'm due 1st sept by my calculations, got my bfp on the 23rd . I'm very nervous about the whole thing though, I had a missed mc in February and I feel like it's been a long hard road to get here. I've already got a 3yo dd, she'll be 4 by the time the baby hopefully arrives.

I tested on boxing day. Was a really strong line at what I thought was 11/12 dpo so I immediately thought - twins! But I'm sure it's not really...
Am also really nervous - had a bleed with DS early on and although everything was ok I keep half expecting to see that again and be really worried.
So sorry to hear about your mc Amandine - fingers crossed everything is fine this time. Roll on 12 weeks eh?
Rusulka - lovely way to tell your DH - that will be a nice story to tell your DC!
How are you all feeling? I am really exhausted today - ridiculously so, considering I'm only about 5 weeks...

Congratulations everyone.

Was considering starting one last night! I think I'm due 3rd September but have longish cycles so little unsure dates. Very BFP yesterday.

BFP was a bit of a shock as we were not TTC. Had felt pregnant for a while and tested a few times over Christmas but all BFN. Should have known what was going on as already have 2 DC's

Always wanted a third but DH was never keen. Talked it through with DH and going for an early scan to how things are going as am older and things might not be working out. Trying to be realistic but also really excited

Hello everyone

I just got a BFP yesterday, first baby, due 02/09/12.
Despite trying for two years I am absolutely terrified and still can't believe it! it just doesn't seem real. I'm hoping that as time goes on it'll start to sink in a bit more! Is anyone else feeling this way?

I'm the same trillian, we started trying in June 2010. I want to believe it but I can't until I see a scan I think.

Trillian I am in same position as you, same due date too! Like I said earlier, sh*tting bricks, lol.

I have to keep asking DH if we're really pregnant. Doesn't feel real. Can't believe we have to wait so long for the first scan, I'm not working at the moment, what the heck am I going to do with myself?

OK, adding to stats, Amandine- is the 4+5 bit 4 weeks +5 days? Not been here before, so unsure of the lingo.

Hmm. Won't we have to keep updating this as we progress? I guess it's good to know where we all are at the start though.

Rang the drs today to get in for an appt to let them know, they opened for pm appts at 12, and by 10 past they were full. Grr. Receptionist said the dr would give me a ringback. Last time they said that, I was having a chemical pg and didn't know what was going on, they never bothered ringing me. So I'm a little sceptical that I'll get a phone call tbh!

What are everyone's symptoms like so far?

So far my only one has been the sore heavy bosom and occasional cramping, though I do feel a bit sicky right now (except I'm sure it's because I just ate half a chocolate orange)

I'd like to cautiously join you too. Got a very unexpected BFP yesterday on the first cycle after a MMC at 13 weeks in November.

Mr Iph and I both shocked, as last pregnancy took 6 months to conceive, and terrified, as the miscarriage was emotionally and physically bloody horrendous, but determined to take it one day at a time.

Sorry to hear of your loss too Amandine :( Here's hoping for the most uneventful 9 months ever for all of us!

Reckon I'm only just 4 weeks and would estimate due date of 6th Sept but hoping they'll class me as 6 weeks (the time from MC) so I can be seen and scanned a little earlier.
No symptoms whatsoever yet, only 5 little peed-on sticks showing their double lines.

Well today I am have just started feeling sick! Watery mouth and gagging just like with DS. But surely too early, maybe it was something I ate. Or my imagination.How is everyone else feeling today?

Hi girls, count me in. I'm due 2nd Sept. It is totally unexpected and I have told nobody, not even DH. I'm old and have just started a new job so my timing could have been a hell of a lot better. I have two DDs age 5 and almost 2. Congratulations to all you girls especially the first timers, it is such an exciting time.

I echo what everyone else has said, hopefully an uneventful 8 months to go!

On 2 occasions now when I've gone to bed, I've felt like someone has inflated my intestines with a bike pump. And getting the air out (from either end) doesn't help. Hmm.

Dr rang back yesterday, had appt this am, filled out my exemption form, even fitted in the flu jab at the same time. Dr seems lovely, so that's a relief. Just hope the midwife at the hospital is the same!

Does anyone know what their regional birthing options are like? I'm in north west Kent and it looks like it's a case of hospital or nothing, not sure if they'd let me have a home birth for first baby. Don't much fancy being poked and prodded!

Oh, also the dr knitted his eyebrows at me when I gave him my last AF date- 28/11- and asked when I tested (Chrismtas eve). He seemed perplexed, and seems to think my EDD is 04/09, but I've done it on the internet in about 5 different places, so I'm going to quite happily ignore him, lol!

rush was he confused by the leap year maybe? Those wheel things don't allow for them, this is my second leap year pregnancy!

I've got a sore throat which is bleugh when all I can take is paracetamol! Looking forward to the 5 week milestone tomorrow!

Please count me in too - I was going to join yesterday but decided to pee on a few more sticks just to make sure.......!!! This is my first baby so I am totally over the moon. as is DH.
Symptoms so far are just very very sore boobs and I feel sick although I think that's probably just excitement!
I used an online due date thingy and if it's right I'm due 10/09/12.

Amandine I think it's because he assumed a 28 day cycle- mine are 27- coupled with your leap year theory!
Although this is my first, I'm kind of in the same position as you re: denial- keep thinking it's not real! Doesn't help that I already have an epic tummy, so I won't even see anything growing for aaaaaaaaaages yet. And no symptoms apart from the boobs.
Checked with my mum who kindly reminded me her experiences are 30+ years old, but she said she didn't get sick. Don't know if I should be hopeful for that or not- at least if I get sick, I'll know that everything's progressing normally. Hmm.

Like everyone else, I'm still in denial. Keep expecting my period to arrive every time I go to the toilet - I'm hoping that this'll stop before long. I am convinced enough to endure a booze free NYE though - the first one in living memory! Just working on what excuse to use for not drinking... In terms of symptoms, been having period pains for the last week, twinges and feeling of movement in my uterus, if that makes sense. Hoping it's all normal
