Thanks for the welcome and welcome and congrats to everyone else. Nice to have such a broad range of people and experiences already. It's got to be a lucky thread to include at least three ladies who have had a 'win' after so long trying. Trillion, queenrollo, suzette and anyone else who has had a long road to get this far, my hat is off for you, as I mentioned we only tried for six months prior to last pregnancy and that felt like an eternity!
Like Eyes and davidsmum this will most hopefully be our 3rd dc. Have you recovered from the shock enough to tell DH yet eyes ?
Violetcrayon - I hope the ickiness is your imagination and that you get at least a few days reprieve before the real thing kicks in. From experience, morning noon and night sickness has kicked in around 6 weeks for me in the past. I'm trying to enjoy the calm before the storm
Bakeroo - so sorry for your loss. The next few weeks are going to be very nerve wracking for all of us probably and especially those who've had a previous loss. Hopefully freakingout talking together will help. Good you'll have the early reassurance scan.
There's no right and wrong in telling/not telling at this stage, I think. It's whatever feels right for you and can have no effect on the outcome of the pregnancy.
I've already told girls in work as I have the loveliest team and they have been an amazing support through the miscarriage. Think we will keep schtum with other friends and family though as don't want to put them through all the worry again and we definitely won't tell the children until a scan confirms that all is well.
Good luck celebmum, hope you get to join us soon
