Is there anyone around who has just found out that they are pregnant and are due in Sept?
I know it's very early days but I thought maybe I could get the ball rolling...
I'm due around Sept 4th I think, with DC2, feeling very happy if a bit nervous :)

I was just thinking what an amazing bunch of ladies you all are, so I thought I'd tell you.

Have a good day everyone.
x

flipflopper · 27/01/2012 08:16

feeling slightly less sick this morning, have actually vomited the past 2 mornings.
A bit worried as i am working at the weekend and I need to start at 7.30am, not sure how I am going to manage that!

Had a very weird dream last night that i gave birth before we had told anyone i was pg, had nothing ready, no name!

Sil has just announced she is 12 weeks, it was so hard to keep quiet!

Hope everyone has a good day x

Sunflower101 · 27/01/2012 08:38

It's so reassuring to know you others are going though the same things as me especially as this time till 12 weeks are safely reached and can start to tell others. I ate so much carbs yesterday, toasted tea cake, crumpets, toast.... With butter of course. Also have really wanted McDonalds this week and succumbed, dh was so surprised as I usually avoid them with a barge pole.
Has anyone else noticed their sense of smell changed? I was cleaning bathroom yesterday and could not stand smell of cleaning products, it was making me heave! So that will get me out of cleaning for a while!

Macaroons · 27/01/2012 08:56

As EtheIred said, it's about time to start a new thread! Any great idea on names? I'm very boring and can only think of September 2012 volume 2. Anyone more imaginative than me pls step in! Would be good if we start a new one and put in the link of the new thread on this thread before this one reaches 1000! (believe this is 980)

ballroomblitz · 27/01/2012 09:04

Well I'm not imaginative in the slightest.

mirikat yes ms doens't normally start until 6 wks or so. I haven't had it at all in my last two pregnancies so I'm hoping it will be the same this time. Saying that smells have started to make me a bit queasy. Ds's overnight nappy this morning and the smell od dp's hair last nigt (he had stopped in the chippy) near made me boke. I have a hiatus hernia and constant heartburn so I think my stomach's just used to a queasy, upset feeling.

Well I got my ring yesterday!!! Grin Grin Grin. Absolutely gorgeous. All chuffed!!

Boobs are getting very big (for me anyway). I have a bra that fitted me last time when I was breast feeding and it's already getting tight. Enjoying the B cup though cos I lost a lot through bf last time and shrank to a little A cup.

sasslejaney84 · 27/01/2012 09:14

This morning I feel sick as a dog!! Making DD's breakfast (readybrek) I thought I was going to be sick!

Has anyone else not been able to sleep?? I've had 2 nights where its taken me FOREVER to drop off, I think it was about 2ish when I went to sleep last night :-(

I'm shattered now!!

Macaroons · 27/01/2012 09:15

oik glad to hear I'm not alone on having a fry-up brekkie after a bowl of cereal Blush I think we are subconsciously eating for you BlushBlushBlush tried to be good today. Got a slim chicken and avocado sandwich from pret instead of a cheese and egg muffin!

sunflower I think I'm craving bread too ... Maybe it's the hormones!

crowette · 27/01/2012 09:20

sassle Ive been having trouble getting to sleep too. Usually drop off very easily. Last night light went off at 10.30, and I was still trying to sleep 2 hours later. Too hot, too windy, needed pee, not comfy, needed water - on and on. Then was up again at 2 and 4am for wee. Thankfully I'm off work today and all I need to do is take my registration form to the doctor, so I can have a snooze later.

ballroomblitz · 27/01/2012 09:20

I always crave bread so nothing new there. I'm a real carbs person.

Funny I haven't been eating as much as I normally do. Have still put on 5 lb from last week. Must be water retention

MillontheFloss · 27/01/2012 09:29

Perhaps we could move over to the antenatal threads and start a September baby bus? Don't think there's one already.

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 27/01/2012 09:51

Yeah think we should move to the antenatal threads and how about 'September 2012, praying for beans that are well and truly baked??' I know, it's crap, but it's the best my snot infested mind can manage! Grin
Come on ladies, someone must be able to do better!!!

TinkerMaloo · 27/01/2012 09:53

how about "sep 2012 beans for christmas and new year shaggers"???

sasslejaney84 · 27/01/2012 09:53

Milonthefloss - good idea!

Crowette - I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! I think I'm gonna have to have a snooze later on too! Yesterday I didn't have one as i was out all day and by the time I got home it was nearly time to get the little one from school!

Not feeling as sick now I've had some toast lol! Looks like its gonna be another carb filled day lol

Littlecherublegs · 27/01/2012 09:54

Alien sorry to hear your news. Best wishes to you and your family.

sassle I keep having broken nights sleep. Manage to fall asleep ok but nearly always wake up about 5am - usually to pee. Woke myself up this morning by roling over onto my front and realising that really hurts with sore boobs!!

ballroom congrats on the ring!! Smile

sunflower yes my sense of smell seems to be heightened which I think is normal. Can smell things such as my DH's aftershave really strongly and have already said that I wouldnt be able to stomach cleaning so have got out of that already!! Smile

Well Im glad its not just me with the thicker waist and the putting on weight and the eating like a pig!! Seriously this craving for crisps is getting out of control!!!!

Anyway, hope you all have a lovely day - its Friday, whoop!! Grin

york67 · 27/01/2012 09:58

Hi ladies. Been reading lots of the thread. So much sadness. Sorry to all the ladies who were with us but have now left. When I had my mmc I didn't realise how common it was. (stopped growing 10 weeks, bleeding 12 weeks)
Well I am 5 weeks plus 1 and I am starting to panic. No bleeding but just don't feel pregnant. Only symptons I had were sore boobs and feeling light headed but these symptoms seem to have disappeared. Off to buy some more pregnancy tests today.

MissCoffeeNWine · 27/01/2012 10:00

How about 'The Knicker-Checking Boobs-a-Swelling Carb-Craving Christmas and New Year Shaggers - all aboard the Sept 2012 Baby Bus!'

TinkerMaloo · 27/01/2012 10:03

MissCoffeeNWine · 27/01/2012 10:06

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 27/01/2012 10:07
