Is there anyone around who has just found out that they are pregnant and are due in Sept?
I know it's very early days but I thought maybe I could get the ball rolling...
I'm due around Sept 4th I think, with DC2, feeling very happy if a bit nervous :)

Just found out on Friday!!! I'm due 4 September and it will be must first.
Very happy and keeping my fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy.

Hi all

I am seeing a neurologist on weds re the eye. It started the day after i conceived! Bad headache and a type of grey mottled curtain effect in front of my eye. Ben to eye clinic and they said it's something pressing on the optic nerve so need neuro.

But they all just keep saying it's to do with pregnancy, rest and hope it just clears up on its own. Very frustrating.

Everything DP says and does appears to be designed to make me hate him today. I know he's not being any different but i just want to punch him!

Hi all, can I join, am due on the 01/09/2012, had a mc on the 6th October 2011 so bit anxious but very excited. Have reallyvsore boobs, loss of appetite, and get tired in late afternoon. Oh the joys. But hay we are going to have babies , good luck all x

Fingers crossed all is well. I'm back to work tomorrow (I'm a teacher) so hopefully will have something to take my mind off of being pregnant! Just slightly obsessed at the min...Blush

Hi Trillian, I had spotting throughout my first pregnancy, and everything was fine. They think it was probably just from my cervix. I got an extra couple of scans because of it which was good (always lovely to see your baby!), so I'd either do as Amandine suggests and contact an out of hours doctor, or if there's been no more and your first midwife appointment isn't too far off then wait and tell the MW. Make sure you do mention it though - it probably is just implantation bleeding but best be on the safe side (and you're likely to get an extra scan!!).

Hi Trillian, hope you get it sorted. Fingers crossed for you. I am really nervous this time, every time I go to the loo I am expecting to see something untoward (IYKWIM!!!??!! Grin). I don't remember being half as worried as this last time! And also, the 8wks to the scan seems an absolute age away!!! Plus DH has sworn me to secrecy so glad I can talk about it on here. Felt a bit nauseous today, when I was loading dishwasher and emptying the kitchen bin; that was the only thing that got to me last time so really hoping it's the same again this time around!!!!

Rusulka - definitely get a MW appt before your 12 wk scan. I think I had mine at 8 wks last time. She went through what I could expect at my 12 wk scan; there are a number of optional tests you can have, best to be informed and have decided whether to proceed with them or not before you turn up for your scan. If I remember correctly blood tests were for downs syndrome, Edwards syndrome etc and results are by way of ratio i.e 1 in 300 chance. They also advise whether the ratios are low, medium or high risk. Apologies if you already know all of this! This is how things are done where I live, but not sure if there are different policies depending on whereabouts you are. Then there are all of the compulsory blood tests for STD's etc. I didn't know about any of the 12 wk compulsory or optional blood tests before seeing my MW; I thought I would just turn up, get scanned and go home!
MW also got my medical file started which you take along to your scans for them to fill in. She also gave me a wonderful NHS pregnancy book, printed circa 1960 and none of the women in it had ever seen a waxing strip...

Trillian - I had some spotting last week; brown / pink and probably implantation. I also had a fair bit with my last pregnancy; all was fine. Definitely get it checked out if it's worrying you.

Hope everyone is feeling well? I'm suffering from lower back ache today... And the thought of going back to work tomorrow is making me feel ill!

Wow, look at that list already, looks like September is going to be a busy month Smile

I have been worrying about lack of symptoms (even though rationally I know I didn't have them this early last time) but the last two days I have been slammed with tiredness. 2 hour nap this afternoon and now struggling to keep my eyes open just past 10pm.

Sorry to hear about the spotting Trillian, can only echo the ladies who say get checked out for piece of mind if it continues, the worrying is usually worse than anything!

I almost had a panic attack at the weekend after seeing a spot of bright red blood on the toilet paper. After further frantic probing it appears to have come from perhaps a small tear on my bum but even after I discovered this I was shaking and hyperventilating.

I had just been telling a friend that morning that I had been managing to freak out less than I thought I would being pregnant again after MC but it shows how easily that resolve can come undone!

It's not looking good for me. Brown blood this morning (only a bit) but more worryingly a completely negative test. Phoned the hospital who predictably have told me to stick to my appt tomorrow afternoon for a repeat blood test.
I had the most tender breasts in the world over the weekend and they're settling down now.
I'm going to remove myself from the list just for now. I've got a bad feeling about this.

I am on DC3 and over the weekend looked about 4 months gone as well. Think it was a bit of bloating/ water retention as has gone down (marginally) today but went to a party New Years Eve with excuses not to drink & thought they must all be blind not to notice tummy.

Goodness knows how big I'll get if things work out!

Sorry to hear that queenrollo. Every time I feel a bit of discharge (sorry tmi!) I rush to the loo to make sure it isn't blood. Have an early scan booked for three weeks time. Am both dreading it and wishing the time away...

And me too please!

I found out am pregnant with number three on Xmas Eve! Bit of a shock as we weren't trying - just a bit careless with the contraception - and I'm pushing 40 so didn't expect any accidents to happen at my age especially as it took months and months to conceive DD2.
Anyways am very happy about it although slightly panicking at the thought of managing three under five!
Think my EDD is around 1st September but not entirely sure as wasn't keeping an eye on my cycle...
