Just did two pg tests and positive (although faint). Took 10 months ttc last time and as DD is almost one I've only had periods for a few months so this is a hugely pleasant surprise!

Anyone-else out there?

Ah mrsmama it's different for everyone so try to avoid the horror stories - and hey if I'm prepared to go through it again (and mine was a tough one,) it can't be that bad Wink. Once the bundle of joy is in your arms you soon forget! X

Thanks angel! I just hope my little lime is ok! Can't wait for my scan thursday! Hopefully I won't be told I have imagined the whole thing!!!

She has had him now and says it's worth every second of pain x

Peasandyoghurt · 14/01/2012 10:55

Yesterday's scan was flipping amazing! Strong heart beat. The bit I'm most awe-struck by though is the arms and legs! I keep saying 'I can't believe he's grown arms and legs!!!' Amazing, I was only 10+6 though so having to go back again next Fri for nuchal bit. A bit nervous about that, but feeling generally much more positive now. Can't believe how lucky I've been so far! x

Does anybody else suffer with bad lower back pain? I had a tiny amount of brown spotting 3 weeks ago and an even smaller amount yesterday (completely freaked me out though) and still have this back pain. I phoned the epu yesterday and they said I need to go in and see them but couldn't get an appt until monday afternoon. Im 10 weeks today and have had two previous M/C which happened both times between 6/7 weeks. I did have a private scan at 6 weeks which showed a seemigly healthy pregnancy and a lovely little heartbeat. I keep thinking im going to get there on monday and it's going to be bad news :(. I wish I could feel more positive but im scared that if I do then it's going to be even worse. Does this even make sense??

Fantastic news about your scan peasandyoghurt, the relief must be immense!

To the ladies who suffer from shortness of breath, I suffer too! It started a few days before af was due, so between 3/4 weeks and is always worse in the mornings for me! I read it has something to do with extra blood flow and blood vessels widening to accomodate this. It's certainly not very nice at times.

mrsmamma · 14/01/2012 13:28

Vino lover I do get lower back pain but it comes and goes! I've had a couple of days where it's been awful! Today i dif the housework for 3 hours and i suffered in my back fir it! You must be positive about Monday! I know it's hard but being positive is great for the baby!

NathanDetroit · 14/01/2012 14:51

hi all, congrats on scans, lovely.

I had a scan today too, which found that I have a molar pregnancy. I have to go to hospitall for a D&C on Monday. It explains why I've had the pains in my abdomen (pretty much constantly for a week) as it makes your uterus grow very quickly.

All the VERY BEST to all of you, I hope you all have your lovely babies in August and that no one else here has to go through anything like this.

Much love, thanks for the chat so far.

xxxx

Vinolover · 14/01/2012 14:53

NathanDetroit I am so very sorry. I can't imagine how you must be feeling and I wish you all the best for monday and for the future.

Vinolover · 14/01/2012 14:55

Thank you for replying mrsmamma. it's always very comforting to hear somebody else has the same thing. This is my 3rd baby but 5th pregnancy so I suppose there will be more aches and pains. Roll on monday so I at least know what's happening in there!

voscar · 14/01/2012 15:18

Aahh Nathandetroit I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to you. I hope you and your dh come out the other side stronger and that you go on to have lots of happy healthy babies in the future. X

ballinderrymum · 14/01/2012 15:59

nathan so sorry to hear your news - take care of yourself and try to stay strong.

vino i've been having staining on and off for some time now although it stopped this week, i have been really worried about it, i suppose i will find out what is happening at my scan on tuesday.

peas so happy for you to see your pics :)

Peasandyoghurt · 14/01/2012 16:07

Nathandetroit, so sorry to hear your news, that's awful. Take care of yourself. Much love. x

NeedlesCuties · 14/01/2012 16:12

Sorry to read that Nathan :(

ballinderry hope your scan goes okay on Tuesday, once you get your due date I can update the stats list with your due date.

I hurt my back today. Was lifting DS (aged almost 2) out of his car seat and I turned awkwardly. So now I have an aching back, making it hard to breathe or lift my arms high. Add that to the sickness, headaches, dizziness and tiredness and I really don't feel great. Meh.

mrsmamma · 14/01/2012 16:53

So sorry to hear that Nathan! All the best xx

Kempstongirl · 14/01/2012 16:56

Hi all,
I haven't been on for a while, and there are so many posts... Got my re-scan yesterday and all was fine, even heard the heartbeat but didn't see much as it turns out I'm only just 6 weeks pg. I've got midwife appointment on Mon, hopefully not very long as need to make it to work on time.
NeedlesCuties, could you change my stats, please? Looks like the baby wants to be a birthday gift for it's Dad- due on 30/8 lol.
Hope everyone is having nice weekend.

blackcatsdancing · 14/01/2012 16:59

Thanks loves. You all take it steady now. Been with my parents and they're being really supportive as are my lovely friends who I've had to "untell". Not looking forward to the operation but I'll get there.

I'll sign out now, take care all, I'll raise a big glass of wine to you in August! ;) xxxx
