Yeah! Welcome missus! I'm not joining in the blub today but have already been a big wuss on Friday after the scan results and wept in the car thinking just thinking about you!

Indeed Jolls, as Loopy says I'll keep my next big weeping session for you getting here x

nickstermum · 20/02/2011 14:33

Tis indeed wonderful to see you grad Pv xxx

Whoop!

PrettyVacant1 · 20/02/2011 15:17

Awww shucks you guys. Blush

Hoooouge par-tay for Jolls most definitely!
And BB.Smile

Oh Buffs Brian has set up residency on the freakout room , has his feet firmly under the table, dishing out advice and support. Grin
I've been giving him a hard time lately and he seems to have abandoned me and made new fwends.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 20/02/2011 15:32

It is so splendid to see you here PrettyPretty you have come so far my lovely and been so brave, I am so unbelievably pleased for you and MrPretty xxxxxxxxx

OrangeGloss · 20/02/2011 15:46

PV so nice to see you in the list, and you were even kind enough to add the day I'd missed :)

lucysnowe · 20/02/2011 16:54

Hi all

Congrats PV, I think you need to curb the scan addiction though Wink only joking, so glad the bean is fine.

So my 12-week scan is on Fri, now I'm thinking maybe I should have booked an early scan after all, it's a bit late now though. Smile. No bleeding and symptoms okay, and by this time last time I'd already miscarried (around 10/11 weeks) so.... well, we'll see. Had a horrid idiotic dream where I went to the scan and instead of scanning me they induced me (???) and lost the bean. Stupid bloody subconscious. Smile

clareanna · 20/02/2011 17:47

Hurray!!! Happy graduation day mrspv!!!!
Grin
boobs under control now- no sucking required you'll be pleased to hear!!!

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 20/02/2011 18:01

Glad everything under control Clare :)
Hang in there Lucy and the crazy pregnant dream is a good sign!
I have a leaky boob, please tell me this is a sign! This is def worse than the 2WW!

CaribouMoo · 20/02/2011 19:11

Clare that's good to know your boobs are better, you are a trooper. Now 8s are misbehaving though! I do remember a spot of leakage before having DD, can't remember how close to having her though. Not long now til the 8th of March, or maybe even before.

What a charming thread indeed Pretty. While we're sharing TMI I had to undertake a blind proceedure earlier while tending to the old, aherm, lady garden. I'd forgotten how scary it was taking a pair of scissors down there when you can't see past the bump!

OrangeGloss · 20/02/2011 19:59

Lucy those kind of dreams seem to be common around this time, no matter how much we suppress the worries our subconscious comes out to play at night. Fx Friday comes around quickly and provides a reassuring scan to relax you

Clare good to hear Grin

Magic8 I'm the furthest pg I've been so no clue I'm afraid, but to my in-trained eye it's surely a good sign

Moo glad things are neat and tidy Grin

yey to ba8y1 well done missus. Enjoy yout babymoon.

welcome and well done for taking that big step ontpo the list Mrspv it's been a hell of a journey, try and enjoy it now. It goes quickly, (she says thinking how long can 4 bloody weeks really last??)

No more action from me, despite my best efforts at boogying to living on a prayer on Friday night, (40th party, hence music choice Grin) stayed up till 2am, and boy did I know it htough, baby was sooo active when I got into bed it was actually quite uncomfortable and I didn't get to sleep till gone 3. Obviously not a fan of Bon Jovi and Neil Diamond, (don't ask)

Dh was accosted and propositioned in the loos by tha gay bloke who owned the hotel though, He wasn't sure it to be flattered or not, lol.

Been to London today, science museum, long day, but good time, lots to do. Knackered now so will be hitting sack with my book in the not too distant future.

Hope everyone has had good weekend, Really hope spider babies decide to put in an appearance this week. I'm gonna wager Thursday Smile

nickstermum · 21/02/2011 07:31

Orange you are absolutely right... Subconscious! I woke up this morn after a hideous miscarriage dream... But all is fine! Phew :)

Magic.. Hang in there lovely! You are doing so so well xxx
Good news on no dh sucking Clare and glad boobs and you have recovered:)

Ooh 16 week check today.

OrangeGloss · 21/02/2011 08:18

Nix it seems like yesterday (for me anyway) that you got your BFP :) bet time has gone slooow for you waiting for these milestones? Fx everything goes ok, am sure it will be fine

Was it you that said about muscle ache starting around 12 weeks? My muscles feel like they've been strained, though may be from the puking Blush

nickstermum · 21/02/2011 09:05

Yes the start of trimester 2 can bring some stretching and twinges :)

AlbaDeTamble · 21/02/2011 09:19

All you 2nd trimester ladies, I remember at 15 weeks having a real panic at stretching pains. Felt like cramps. Midwife fitted me in at the end of clinic, had a listen, all fine and I was sent home to put my feet up, take paracetamol and have a nice cup of tea. She was extremely kind and understanding. Stretching pain very normal but very worrying when you have our histories.

Lia very impressed with partying! No doubt baby Lia will stay put this week, it being half term you're no doubt too busy for a new arrival till the kids all back at school Wink. Will that take you to 37 weeks?

Looking forward to Magic news. Is it time to get some Brie and French bread and pull up a chair to await progress reports?

randomimposter · 21/02/2011 09:27
VivClicquot · 21/02/2011 10:41

Aw congratulations ba8y1 - hope you're having a lovey ba8ymoon Wink with your gorgeous girl.

and for the lovely pv at gradding. Fair brought a tear to my eye too :)

jolls - given the earlier conversation, I'm very disappointed that you didn't think to order any Cheese Strings from Ocado... Grin

As for me - 30 weeks today. How the hell did THAT happen?

owlbooty · 21/02/2011 10:59

Hey Orange I also had a resurgence of stretchy aches around 12 weeks - they went on for about a fortnight, maybe a bit longer. I couldn't cough without sort of curling up first (still can't, actually) and sneezing has to be done carefully! The puking won't help, that's definitely gonna make things achey.

Hope the 16 week check goes well, Nix - your next doppler fix, eh? Grin

Viv 30 weeks???? Bloody hell that's gone quickly.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 21/02/2011 12:37

Viv! 30!! THIRTY weeks! Whizzzzzzzzin by! Cheese strings

Liah I am glad things have calmed down for you. Thursday would be good!

Agree with what Alba says about the paracetamol, no pain, no paranoia. Stretching is good as making way for your growing bubba Wink

Moo Grin at you tending to your lady garden. Had my pre labour pamper on Friday.....waxing is certainly something! Shock Could have done with some gas and air for that!

Tears in magicland the minute I opened my eyes after another night up and it now being half term with me not able to do feck all with DD....cue row with DH, more snot and tears and DD whisked off to MILs. I know it will be tough with 2 new babies but at least I will be mobile etc again. Thanks for all your "hang in there" comments here & on fb they are helping xx

nickstermum · 21/02/2011 13:05

Ah magic you are doing so well.... not long now my lovely xxx Waxing is fab, and you will feel so much nicer for it, esp when everything is hanging out for the consultant to see Grin

I did chortle to myself at moos gardening story Grin and now i have an image in my head that i wish wasnt there :)

VIV 30 weeks.. i remember when you got your bfp... around August wasnt it? Jsut as i joined the TTC thread, you left Well done... 3/4 of the way there... in the home straight Grin

owl yep for the doppler fix! YEY should know in 3 days if high risk for downs. as they say no news is good news, so everything crossed :)

VivClicquot · 21/02/2011 13:55

nix - Yep, it was the week leading up to the August bank holiday. In some respects, it feels like time has FLOWN to get to 30 weeks, but by the same token, if I think back to how long ago August seems, then it feels like yonks ago. I swear the time/space continuum takes on a whole new meaning when ttc and pg. Grin
