Woo Hoo, new thread!!

Munz, TP Tuesday - wrap yourself in toilet paper around the biggest part of your bump & then count the number of sheets. Odd, yes, but strangely fascinating to see if & when you go up a sheet.

munz · 27/09/2005 08:28

Frizbe · 27/09/2005 08:54

Yingers, that's very off of the doc's I'd lob in a written complaint if I were you, at your stage you shouldn't be the ones chasing them....grrrrr
DQ is Midwife really like that with you? I think I must be lucky, I have our surgerys new midwife,(not new to midwifing, just to the surgery) who is only part time, so maybe that's why she has a very nice sunny outlook on life in general, but even tho I'm on my second, she's great about everything, seems very happy to see me all the time, mabye I should nominate her for an award or something? do midwives have awards?

J&BM here you are! no sign yet then, pah!

Munz, trust me your not bothered about trying to eat hospital food when in labour! you get that nice pleasure afterwards......has anyone told you about the throwing up during labour yet? watch the gas n air, it can set you off!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 09:01

Friz... nope - no signs yet.... you really are determined to put these first timers off arent you!

I threw up during labour too, that and the uncontrolable shakes!!!

OP posts:
Frizbe · 27/09/2005 09:05

Aww J&BM don't say that! I'm not, but personally I wish people would have told me a bit more about it! IUKWIM?

george32 · 27/09/2005 09:06

Munz, you don't always throw up, some people do, some don't

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 27/09/2005 09:18

Morning all - hurray got an appointment this afternoon. I phoned again at 8.30 on the dot and they had loads of slots to choose from!!!!!!!!! Don't understand it at all and was too tired to argue the point just glad I have an appointment!

I did not really like gas and air, made me so light headed that I got a little panicky and had to stop! I remember with dd, I started contractions on a monday and my midwife said don't worry you are not going to have this baby this week, then I went into hospital on wed and had her thursday!

kelli22 · 27/09/2005 10:35
