DS doing much the same as the others in terms of playing. He also loves books and does the whole reversing in to sit on my lap although we can go through about 20 books a day we often only get to see the first 2 pages of each . He also likes hiding round corners and jumping out and saying boo (more like baa but nevermind), terrorising the cats, doing things I've told him not to then turning round to me and wagging his finger at me with a huge grin on his face (most infuriating and probably doesn't help that it makes me smile so just reinforces it)!

Hurrah, only one wake up at 3.40 - DD1 walking to go for a wee and managed to wake DD2. She went straight back off too until 6.50...hurrah. And a dry bed from DD1 this morning hurrah.

DP is off work today because he wanted to take DS to the p&t group this morning. i'm home alone for TWO hours!!!! i've had a cup of tea, got dressed and now i'm not sure what to do! Think i'll dust off my knitting needles....

I've kept DD2 again although dropped D at CM and DD1 at school and given my friend a lift and posted ebay stuff and taken stuff out to shed and dropped in DD1's overnight stuff for sleepover tomorrow night - am fit to collapse and its only fecking 9.45

better go and get in the shower before weirdy cleaning lady arrives - have made DH sleep in DD1's bed so I can get some packing done at some point too [meep]

Will be back on this avo as new kitchen is arriving somewhere between 12 and 4 so potentially stuck indoors (grrr.) Can't fit flooring til next week but my dad has decided to completely rewire the whole room and replace main switchboard unit thingy in the meantime so nobody's frustrated yet. We are being booted out of their house next weekend so hopefully will have some semblance of a kitchen by then.

I now have a shortlist for Alternative Karaoke on Saturday: Creep by Radiohead, Get it on by T-Rex and White Stripes' cover of 'Just don't know what to do with myself'.

Not too bad a night here, Seb down at about 11 though then slept till 3.30, brought him in with us. How does someone so small take up so much of the bed though?? Thankfully, dp really is realising now that Seb fakes not being tired. So hopefully we won't be having any more of those conversations - 'we should put him to bed' look at him, he's not tired'

I have a million things to do NOT AT HOME today but I really need to be HERE cleaning. I can't have a sitter come on Saturday to a diaster zone. And my hand hurts from a thorn injury sustained yesterday while planting a new rose bush. Hurts clean through. OUCH! Do you think anyone would notice if I just crawled back into bed.

Oh that's great news.

Both names are lovely lwfh, and that is great news about the paediatrician too. Having had a bit of a nightmare first birth, I can totally see where the apprehension comes, in. I found he joyfulness of the second one was a very healing experience.

Good to hear the kitchen is coming along Buckets.
