June 2007 They're (almost all) two which makes them hard work in a whole new range of ways. But just as adorable!

Unable to sleep thought I'd see what had been going on and saw we were due a new thread. Hope this is OK?

So Holly, as you missed my ebay question earlier, what happens if a certain lovely person wins 2 of my auctions? How do I change postage charge on the invoice?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 21:40

If someone wins 2 of your items you need to tick all of them on the invoice and adjust the postage. Ebay recognises multiple purchases from one buyer, so it will all show up on your invoice, just make sure you tick all the boxes!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 21:41

Did that make sense?

Sputnik · 01/07/2009 21:47

I think I'll be testing it in a few minutes so I'll let you know!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 01/07/2009 21:50

Thanks for the sympathies ladies. I just feel fed up that ILs think they have to solve problems for us, especially when they think of the problems themselves. FFS, we're grown adults and we can sort ourselves out! (OK we may muddle a long a bit at times, but nobody's dead yet!) Like last time they visited, we had put up a new washing line but hadn't got a clothes prop yet, so they went out and got us one! We are perfectly capable of buying our own thank you!

Sorry about non-sleeping babes. And exit-seeking ones. Jamlet kept making a beeline for the exits in the hospital waiting room today. I think she just wanted to explore and get outside in the fresh air. I was dragging persuading her back inside at the other end of the building (thankfully not a very big building!) when they came out to call us in

Oooh Sputnik....like the orange dress

Sorry for all the MIL troubles....I have one who doesn't give a shit about her grandchildren

Sputnik · 01/07/2009 22:03

You've got 5 minutes! Or is that you
Yes on the whoole better to have in-laws that interfere rather than not giving a shit. They are only trying to help (repeat through clenched teeth)!

LittleMissNorty · 01/07/2009 22:04

No not me - I use a sniper!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 22:08

I wanna see your ebay stuff

LittleMissNorty · 01/07/2009 22:09

I was the one 6 seconds before the end! Right bed for me.....night

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 22:13

Hahaha, I found you! I love those Mini Boden pink beach shorts you sold. My dd would have loved them!

Sputnik · 01/07/2009 22:13

I am all emotional now Norty, my DD wore that to her 2nd birthday party at the nursery, I love it! Perfect for hot weather too. So glad it's going to a good home

Sputnik · 01/07/2009 22:17

They haven't been paid for yet so maybe relisted, I'll let you know!
I'm not hard to find am I

LackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2009 22:19

finally they are all asleep and i have some boden stuff at bargain prices . I nearly bid on the orange dress as well, but it would swamp DD at age 2-3.

At least you have lovely buyers sputnik ....the fecker that was asking me to sell them my pram offline has now retracted their bid, but the cheeky fecker sent me a message first asking me to cancel the auction . I'm going to report it to ebay....tosser.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 22:19

I just searched by country and found you! It is surprisingly easy to find someone isn't it?

Rialentless · 01/07/2009 22:23

what is the general opinion of this?

LackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2009 22:23

sputnik...the moral of all this is, ask on here first before going to the bother of listing on ebay

My BF buys all her DS's clothes on ebay andf has had some great bargains; I've only ever bought rainsuits and swimm neoprenes before but might have to start given we are offically skint.

LackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2009 22:30

I like it Ria . Very boho chic.
there are always codes for them kicking about as well; check www.hotukdeals.com

Sputnik · 01/07/2009 22:30

I like that dress a lot Ria.

I have more ebay stuff coming up you know!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 22:31

Right...does anyone need any girls' clothes (up to 2-3 years) or baby boys'? I have made about £200 over the past couple of weeks selling dd's clothes and I haven't really even started!

Love the dress ria, though it might be a bit tricky in the bra strap dept.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/07/2009 22:32

Just made £200 again! Sweet! New car here we come!

Rialentless · 01/07/2009 22:33

thanks daisy, I got an email with 40% off, which is why I looked, but I'll keep that link as I'm not buying til the last minute in case I can get a smaller size! I have a nice tailored denim jacket I thought would go nicely. It is dressy enough for a "casual" wedding blessing isn't it? I have some really chunky blue and silver earrings/necklace too.

LackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2009 22:56

holly I was just thinking we could start a clothes swapping circle! I have baby boys 0-9mo and girls 0-2 would like boys 9-12 and girls 2-3

LackaDAISYcal · 01/07/2009 22:58

Definately Ria...with some nice strappy sandals or flip flops.....very boho.

I am sitting, doing nothing...and sweating My thin scottish blood isn't used to this sort of heat.

Rialentless · 01/07/2009 23:03

I am off to bed in a minute. No text from DH to say hes staying over and doing breakfast, but he was on FB 2 hours ago, and I don't think he uses the laptop int he kitchen, just in his room after his shift. Of course while this is to no doubt make me feel guilty, it just makes me crosser.

BTW, my mums neighbours who had the loud break-up the other week - apparently the lady next door to them took the guy in after he left to clean the blood off him before he went anywhere, and she found out that his GF/W had put him in hospital only a couple of weeks ago. Those poor kids.
