aching all over from fitness class

It is getting easier each week though so it must be doing something

M had total hysterics as we saw her creche building from up the road She obviously knew what was happening

might try a toddler group there next wed, more aimed for the littlys like M but will have to take J along too. Hope he doesn't get too bored

Used slow cooker again today (am getting to be an expert ) and currently both Dcs destroying tea

JustKeepSwimming · 29/05/2009 19:31

Simps - looks like it's just thee and me at the moment!
Well done on the exercise class, that centre sounds like a godsend.

the slow cooker does sound fab, i must get one i think, what did you make today?

another good day here, H slept 9-1 and 4-5 with a trip to friends from 2-4 which is a first for nearly 6 months! (the trip out i mean)
and such a lovely day, think tomorrow will be the same, hoping to get a friend to come round with her DS to entertain T

right, trying to do some thank-yous from T's birthday, but stalling by MNing....

simpson · 30/05/2009 09:33

JKS - another nice day weather wise for you

slow cooker wise I made lamb stew. recipe was for beef but they had lamb half price in local supermarket.

Just chucked in what ever veggies i had, a tin of toms and stock cube.

Got so much to do today around house it is a total tip

Hoping kids from next door will be around playing outside to entertain J.

A new family moved in last week and they have a 4yr old boy. The family is black so I had the chat with J last night about how people are all different colours etc...

Gingeme · 30/05/2009 14:09

Good afternoon ladies
We are home and had a fab week. Did loads, went to a fair, did shopping In Dover, went to Deal castle, went on the beach, had a pic nic in Mums garden. Had a good time. I had a look through Mums old photos of me as a littley and teen I shall get DH to scan some in the week and put them on fb and here.
I shall try to scan through the thread soon.
Off to put some more washing on good to be home though.
Oh one bad thing George was tormenting my Mums cat in the garden and he went for him got some quite bad gashes on his face and tummy ( he had no top on) bloody cat !

madmouse · 30/05/2009 15:33

Hi madmouse welcome home x

madmouse · 30/05/2009 22:37

You to Gingeme - thanks for your lovely comments on my pics.

How's everyone?

Have washed one load - did one on holiday so have one more to go - yey for good weather - will hang the lot outside before church tomorrow!

Just found Nathan fast asleep across in his cot all bunched up - picked up some new habits in his travel cot. No mean feat in a grobag!

JustKeepSwimming · 31/05/2009 06:38

Gingeme & Madmouse - welcome home

Simps - you are lucky to have the other kids around for J to play with. we live in quite an 'older-kids' area, so there are teenagers around (handy for babysitting) but not many young ones.
one family moved in recently with a boy T's age and he goes to the same pre-sch some sessions, he is incredibly shy and so is his mum! but i try....well i probably scare her!

dh going to take T swimming again this morning, getting into a routine of it on sunday mornings, with another dad, thinking of inviting them back for bbq lunch, otherwise no def plans, just another sunny day

simpson · 31/05/2009 09:57

Hi everyone

another lovely day

JKS - the other kids here are all a bit older than J (5/6)but they do look out for him which is lovely, and since he has been playing with them I have noticed he has seemed a lot more self assured. Even his teachers at school have noticed...

Madmouse - lovely pics

Gingeme - glad you had a good time. have you put any pics up yet?

Got loads planned today. Am going out for lunch with my dad and brother then to kew gardens for J to run wild

Have a lovely day, all!!!

Gingeme · 31/05/2009 10:42

Morning ladies
No plans for today. Still catching up on washing. There was a load in the basket when I left so doing that too. DH wouldn't know one end of the washing machine to the other . He is running my big boys home now.
No pics as yet Simpson. Probably Tuesday when DH has his day off. Will let you know.
Great to take the boys swimming JKS. Does he want two more to join in?
George has got into a habit of waking at 3.30 am crying. Time to start pick up put down now me thinks break the habit asap.
DH and I popped into my Mums neighbours to see their tiny new baby. I gave her my ring sling and 2 gro bags for the Autumn. It was lovely to hold a teeny one again

JustKeepSwimming · 31/05/2009 12:07

Well DH & T not back yet so i have got lots done.
though am getting peckish and wondering how long to wait until lunchtime....

Everyone, we need a new thread soon so start thinking of titles....did we have a 'spare' one last time?

erm, you know i said AF had arrived, welllll it seems to have left again
not sure what's going on.....

simpson · 31/05/2009 12:18

Oooh JKS maybe time to take a test, me thinks!!

Glad you got loads done, I had a day like that yesterday and totally blitzed house from top to bottom.

Wouldn't think it today though

No sign of my dad yet He could not be on time if his life depended on it....

Gingeme - will await pics

Must get myself a digital camera then I don't have to rely on others to uploads pics...

LaTrucha · 31/05/2009 13:27

Hi guys

Madmouse - welcome home, though I'm not sure where you've been. The blitz when you get home is something else, isn't it?

JKS - TEST! Nice to have a break on an Sunday morning. And sunshine too!

Gingeme - sounds like a lovely break. I would do the PUPD too. Sometimes they just need a little reminding!

Where are Lily and Lucky?

I'm doing a total hous eblitz while DH is away and I must say I'm getting loads done. ~We haven't done much since we moved in just before Sabela was born - and I was ill and then she didn't sleep so things juts got left. I've done tonnes of recycling/ furniture shifting shed and garden. It's making a real difference and I'm pretty chuffed.

Inevitably, I HAVE moved the exercise bike I bought to get back in shape after Sabela into the shed.

Sabela is such a happy little ducky at the moment. She's a total delight. I'm beginning tohave second thoughts about another so soon but DH is dead set. Very conflicted. I do NOT want to be ill and miss this bit of her life (which is what would happen). I'm going to the GP on Friday to get her advice.

Off to consign that bicycle to the shed!

Gingeme · 31/05/2009 15:05

Wow all you busy bees. Amazing what a bit of sunshine does isn't it?
The boys are all wriggling to the Wiggles at the mo in their room. Looks so cute as Edward and George are just in there nappies . I have to keep a close eye on George though he has worked out how to take his trousers/shorts off so I just have to make sure he doesn't try it with his nappy!!
My Dads popping in a bit later to see the boys. I went through some clothes this morning thinking I had some shorts and t shirts age 2-3 fro Edward but there doesn't seem to be any. I have put a few bids on some on Ebay
Well off to change the beds.
Be back later x

simpson · 31/05/2009 17:51

Hi all

Just popping on while Dcs eat tea (chicken nuggets and chips - lazy mummy )

Had a nice day although journey was a bit stressful. My dad late (as always) DCs ratty with hunger, heat, traffic jams, no petrol....you get the idea

Sometimes I would just love my dad to forward plan a bit, ie make sure there is petrol in car beforehand so warning light doesn't come on in traffic jam, leave earlier incase of traffic... Grrr..

LaT - think Lucky gone away for weekend, don't know where though

And Lilyloo is away on holiday too (possibly back today..)

JustKeepSwimming · 31/05/2009 20:17

took another test - still negative....

Simps - all sounds v stressful!

G - your boys are so cute

LaT - glad to see you back and you sound so much happier at home all sounding very positive and proactive too. PMSL about the exercise bike

friends came round, much wine, sun & bbq, was good. knackered now (took the test before having a drink just in case....).

some tv, then to bed for me.

madmouse · 31/05/2009 20:19

Well Nathan had pasta courgette and salmon with casserole sauce - left over from yesterday so lazy too

My dad just emailed me some old pictures - i put them on FB. One with my little bro when we were about 5 and 2 I think, one with my pet rabbit when I was about 11 and one with the house I was born in and the first car I drove - makes me feel oooooold.

Did not do much today - church in the morning then churches together picnic in the park and then home where Nathan had a nap then played in his sand pit, managing to eat three handfuls of sand - you'd think he would have learned after the first one . And he fed me spoons of 'food' from his empty cup - won't spoonfeed himself but feeding me is fun??

OP posts:
madmouse · 31/05/2009 20:20

x post JKS - how you feeling about negative test? Glad you had a good afternoon.

OP posts:
JustKeepSwimming · 31/05/2009 21:13

I'm not sure how i feel about the test tbh.

in case i'm pg, i've gone through it in my head.

i don't want to be though!

wish af would happen properly or test showed +ve, one way or the other....

simpson · 01/06/2009 09:54

JKS - how late are you?

Another hot day today

M has not stopped pooing for a few days so going to cut out her calcium supplement today and see if its the culprit.

Has lactobionate in it....

Meeting RL friend for lunch today who has 2 DDs one a bit younger than J and one 2wks older than M, so should be nice. We are meeting in the local garden centre so will look at the fish afterwards.

J very excited as we are going to see milkshake tomorrow

nicky6 · 01/06/2009 11:08

ok just about caught up i think .

rubbish week last week having returned from our night away.

Charlie gets increasingly poorly ends up on antibiotocs then comes out in bad rash think pox but apparently just sign getting better!!!!!! I then get food poisoning. Charlie waking in night then on thursday she is feeling better and jumps up and down in her cot and puts her teeth through her lip cue loads of blood everywhere. hence no time to mumsnet.

Anyway rant over 4 and a little bit weeks to go before number 2 arrives.

Storage company coming to remove double bed and DH seems to have come round to the idea - just as well really as everything all booked!

Just finishing off last bits and bobs for work.

JKS hope all is well with you. and hi to everyone else sorry no personals.

Gingeme · 01/06/2009 14:18

Afternoon ladies and what lovely weather we are having
We had a good night for the first time in months I slept from 11- 7.48 just not heard of in this house these days.
Wow Nicky you sure are busy. Are you excited about number 2? Do you know if your having a pink or blue one?
Simpson I hope you have a nice afternoon looking at the fish. My Dad is after a fish tank so we are going to a local garden centre that also does fish and rabbits etc on Thursday. Taking the boys because Davids school is closed for polling
Just bought George and Edward some shorts and tshirts from Tesco. I want to know why there are 4 aisles of girl clothes and 1 of boys realy gets to me......
Anyway the lo's are sleeping and David is watching Hani Mani, Spanish version of Bob The Builder
Better get the washing on.
Pop back later xx

JustKeepSwimming · 01/06/2009 14:32

hanny mani is a new fave here Gingeme!!

Simps - not really sure. since having H i have had cycles from 33 to 29 days.
am now on day 36.

had all usual signs of OV round about CD 15-18 as normal.
had spotting CD32, 33, 34 & 35. nothing today.

could be the lightest af in the world ever?

did i say i did another test this morning, negative. no possibles lines if you squint sort of thing.
so i think i'm not pg. just messed up, lol!

(madmouse before you tell me off i wanted to do one in the morning for better accuracy, and with DH here, he's away until wed afternoon/night!)
honest miss!

right, have abandoned work early (as up on hours at the mo) and the weather is just too nice.

plus had scare with the alarm going off - was jsut the cats - must leave stairgates open or they can trigger things by jumping over them.

so just wondering what to do once i'm too hot!

nicky - too much excitement by the sounds of it for you, hope you get a few quiet weeks in now.

Gingeme · 01/06/2009 14:44

JKS that your periods messing about. Could be all the stress your under. Hope it sorts itself soon.
I love Handi Manni shame real handy men can't be as helpful

Lilyloo · 01/06/2009 19:49
