simpson · 25/05/2009 22:22

LOL JKS - X post, no you failed this time!!

Ange - you will be able to see the tractor boys in Newcastle next season

Gingeme · 25/05/2009 23:03

Evening ladies.
Just popping by to say goodbye.
I am off down my Mums till Friday with all my boys Have been told the weather isn't going to be too bad. Also get to cuddle Mums neighbours 2 week baby girl
I hope all your littleys are on the mend and sleeping better real soon.
Love to you all xxxx

JustKeepSwimming · 26/05/2009 09:11

Gingeme - have a good time!
(hope your mum knows what she's taking on, lol!)

Lucky - any sign of AF?????
if you can think back to when you should have ov'ed this cycle, were you particularly stressed? just wondering if ov didn't happen this cycle so now your body doesn't know whether to have af or wait for next ov...if that makes sense!

Simps - how's J? hope the ABs are working.

H has continued to have good days, thanks goodness. he's having some absences but no big seizures.
is taking the meds fine too, so far.
the epilim drops down from 2 x 3ml to 2 x 2ml today but the keppra doesn't step up for a while so there may be more fits while the drug level drops....

simpson · 26/05/2009 09:53

Gingeme - enjoy

JKS - fingers are still X here for H

Well J seems to be on the mend but he hates taking his AB's and this morning Hid the medicine bottle so i couldn't find it

Been very proactive this morning sorting out money i am entitled too etc...have appt at job centre on thursday to finalise things.

May give CAB a miss tomorrow as i have done everything myself and although there are other things i need to ask (re changing locks on front door etc) I can only deal with one thing at a time and main priority is sorting out money, mortgage, council tax etc...

Oops

trying to do too many things at the same time

JustKeepSwimming · 27/05/2009 08:17

Simps - lol at J hiding the meds!

Sound like you are really getting on with things, and taking steps to independence. what are his family saying now?
and what about him?

well H still doing well, and we have dropped one step down with the Epilim. keep waiting for the next big fit but have to learn to relax a little bit.

he is def not needing as much sleep either which is good but a shock to the system! may even start to get out and about with both boys more

ow is everyone else? MN being very slow so going to try and post this before it gets lost in the ether.....

simpson · 27/05/2009 10:13

Grrr at weather....looks like park is off

Oh well we have just had a new Morrisons open so may check that out instead...

J needs hair cut so hopefully will be able to fit that in too.

Spoke to DH last night for the first time since sunday and he was okish but undecided as to what to do, whether to come back to London or not.

He still kept asking me to have him back though.

Also said he wants to go to CAB for himself as why should he pay for a house he doesn't live in

Have to admit I saw red
And I know its one of his shit relatives putting words in his mouth

but a have major news

Molly is trying to stand by herself
She can cruise along furniture but is still very wobbly but since yesterday afternoon has been trying and trying to let go and stand not holding onto anything. She can manage about 2 seconds so far

simpson · 27/05/2009 10:14

Forgot to say fab news about H

Also good that he doesn't need so much sleep, although as you said JKS a for you

JustKeepSwimming · 27/05/2009 11:03

Simps - yey for Molly !!!!

and yes tis a bit of a for me having H around more...
but, progress for us today, DH off to work, us 3 off to Asda for a wander (could have done an online shop, could have not bothered at all), T really good not running off, H happy looking around (well they did share a pack of orgnaix crisps), then home and H to bed.
this might not sound like much to anyone but it is quite a big deal. previously H would have signed for bed before we could get out the door and slept all morning.
will see how long he sleeps now. could a normal life be on the way????

oh and simps - hold your ground, you have tried and tried to do the right thing by your H, make sure you've got all the advice you need (from MN or CAB or whoever).

There may be a time in the future when you can work things out but you need to be concentrating on you and the DCs for now.

simpson · 27/05/2009 14:44

Gosh MN on a definate go slow today....

Hopefully a bit of normality creeping in for you JKS

We braved it and went to get DS's hair cut. Another job I have never done before.

Morrisons was sheer Hell. Was soooo busy, it has only been open since Sunday so still getting people checking it out I guess (like me )

M is about to have an afternoon nap although she won't be happy about it I am sure

simpson · 27/05/2009 21:41

jks just had text from madmouse asking how you and H were doing as she doesn't have your no.

Have given her update and she sends her love

AngeChica · 28/05/2009 07:43

all sounds v encouraging jks.

have also texted madmouse - I won't be able to meet her in Keswick, we not going camping as A has chicken pox, now confirmed by docs. I still feel it's not behaving like proper chicken px - no cropping of spots and they just don't seem to be itching at all, but apparently it can be mild like this sometimes. so not too problematic.

well off to work, last day of working Thursdays and then back down to 3 days / week from next week, yippee!

simpson · 28/05/2009 09:46

Ange - hope it just stays a mild case

Got all important appt at job centre at 11am to find out exactly what I am entitled too. Lets hope its enough to cover mortgage etc.

LaTrucha · 28/05/2009 15:06

Hi guys! We're back online and in Aberystwyth!

Now I've not even attempted to catch up yet as we only got broadband yesterday and Sabela's had chicken pox (extremely mild which I'm vexed about - if we're going to stay in on our own I want her to be immune at the end of it dammit!) and we've been indoors while she goes stir crazy and we investigate every corner of the house!

But I do know someone had a baby. !!!!!!!! I'm just not sure who....

And how many of us are pregnant again? Still not here, although as DH and I are currently in different countries, that's not surprising.

And I did read about H's fit JKS. It must be a constant worry bt I'm sure you're being a marvellous mummy.

BUT HELLO TO YOU ALL! I'm going to try and catch up a bit if Sabela stays asleep long enough. Meanwhile, any help here warmly appreciated.

LaTrucha · 28/05/2009 15:07

I don't believe it - as I pressed 'post' she woke up. Will try after she's in bed theis evening.

simpson · 28/05/2009 15:33

LaT - good to "see" you

Have posted on your other thread....

JustKeepSwimming · 28/05/2009 19:18

Simps - how did it go today? any success? or answers at least.
Must try and text MM myself - if i can dig out her mob number from somewhere....

Ange - glad A isn't suffering too badly with it. none of T's toddler friends have had it yet, so still waiting for both boys to get it at once

LaT - welcome 'back'! Hope S chills re eating soon, i know it's such a worry but they really will eat what they need and the main thing, after relaxing, is to keep offering all sorts. they all have phases of eating better and worse.
Don't think anyone's recently announced a pg, hope i'm right there!
Rubysmom/Bluebell had a baby girl, Darcy, v cute
I keep forgetting who's next to pop, sorry!

we had a slight pg 'scare' (pretty sure i'm safe to say it now though AF isn't in 'full flow' yet, sorry if tmi!!!) even went as far as taking tests! but they said Not PG, and do you know what, even though i don't want to be pg now, at all!!!!!! i was a bit sad when i saw it! silly.
suppose i had started getting my head round it in case it came up positive.

really want to wait, esp with all H's things to deal with at the mo.

speaking of, we managed a trip out as a family today &
(our wedding anniv (5yrs) so DH took the day off).
we went to some woods for a walk, to the playground for ice-creams afterwards, then to the supermarket for posh food for us tonight and the cafe there for tea for the boys.
and H stayed awake from 2-now (still leaping about upstairs ). amazing.

simpson · 28/05/2009 21:08

Great news on H still leaping around JKS

Hope you managed to get him to bed ok....

Glad you had a good day out.

Job centre ok, luckily took loads of food to keep M quiet and bribed J with the promise of a happy meal and visit to toy shop.

Still don't know much much money I will get towards the mortgage as they don't do the assessment bit just the paperwork which is then sent off somewhere iyswim.

JustKeepSwimming · 28/05/2009 21:52

Simps - he went off, eventually

but hey ho, would rather be moaning about him rocking his cot backwards & forwards across the floor than fits, right!!

Hope you got all the right paperwork sorted out and you find out asap.

well had a lovely anniversary day, planning to meet friends at their house tomorrow afternoon

(i've got quite used to having everyone here, so hope that doesn't stop altogether just cos H wakes up a bit )

fingers crossed for good weather so we can have a nose investigate the playhouse they bought ages ago in the garden - ooh just remembered, their extension must be finished if she's inviting us round so that'll be interesting to see too

simpson · 28/05/2009 22:04

JKS - will send positive vibes your way

simpson · 28/05/2009 22:04

For weather and for H I mean

simpson · 29/05/2009 10:07

Well looks like you have got the good weather

JustKeepSwimming · 29/05/2009 11:34

Simps - indeed we have sitting in garden with new laptop

H went to bed at 9 so hoping he'll get up about 1ish, have time for lunch, then we can go out. we may have to come back early for him to have an short extra nap though.

still, better than this time last week!
(2 big fits by 11am followed by copious phone calls to all medical professionals i could think of!)
