Just flying in so this is on my threads list - post properly at some point

laughalot · 24/11/2008 12:50

One thing is for sure it wont be me !!!!!

Lizzzombie · 24/11/2008 13:28

no no no no no no no!

I am back in my normal jeans and have thrown most of my fat clothes out. Plus, I have no maternity clothes either.
And no where to put another baby in my tiny house.

Won't be me!

theSuburbanDryad · 24/11/2008 17:27

Ooooooh new thread.

Wilkie - we are renting at the moment as we had to move quickly cause of dh's new job (and we didn't have any money for a deposit! Long story). We have now bought our house, and for anyone bored interested enough, there are pictures on my Facefuck page!!!

I am ridiculously excited!

theSuburbanDryad · 24/11/2008 17:28

Ps: Lizzz - I'm still in my normal jeans! Although they are getting a little tight!

Wilkiepedia · 24/11/2008 19:52

UD - how how how are you still in your normal jeans? I have a bump at 11 weeks and have tied an elastic hair band round the button hole to give me a bit of extra breathing space. Plus have already purchased some trousers in size 12 that are starting to feel too tight too...ARGH!!!

Congrats on the house, so exciting!!

trixymalixy · 24/11/2008 21:02

UD, your new house looks fab, lovely view out the back!!

laughalot · 25/11/2008 13:45

Swans onto thread wearing swanky chocolate brown leather gloves and holding a bouquet of roses and berries. Sloppy kisses to EAH thanks mate I love them both, the gloves match my leather jacket so well and roses are my favourite flowers. Thanks mate xx

laughalot · 25/11/2008 13:45

laughalot · 25/11/2008 13:45

i mean hi

eandh · 25/11/2008 15:03

I managed to keep a surprise from you, glad you liked them both hope you've left your card till Friday though!!

laughalot · 25/11/2008 15:35

Yes I dont open birthday cards early !!!

vinorouge · 25/11/2008 16:37

Hi all

Well it won't be me next. 2 enough for vino.

UD - glad house gone through ok. Don't envy you the unpacking again though.

Wilkie - hope you are feeling better. Did you get the kitchen painted?

LAL - happy b'day. The gloves sound very chic!

Lizz - pmsl at DJ shouting 'LIFT'. E shouts 'light' when we put her to bed, then 'darling' for her bedtime song (which has the word darling in it). Makes me chuckle every night. BTW I seem to be the only one who hasn't been 'done' in the sense of bra measuring. Managing with two bras that are different pre-pg sizes, really need to go and get it sorted.

Blumin cold here today. I was supposed to have a man come to fix my oven, which has bizarrely started working again, but he rang to say he was on way just as I was going out. He said he'd come in the morning instead which was kind.

Sylvie has a cold and cold, same as me so have been feeling a bit crappy over last few days. Did have a lovely shoppng afternonn and meal out with DH on sat though. His parents looked after e&s then we all went out for day on sunday incl a yummy sunday lunch. I filled my tummy and so did ellen. The childs portion was not much smaller than adults and she polished it off!

just getting you on my list.

Lizzzombie · 27/11/2008 07:55

Morning!
Well, I managed to park our car at a dodgy angle last night, and instead of going up on the curb, wacked it against the curb, then went up on the pavement. (narrow road, deep curbs). So, I got out the car, to a very nasty sound. Hsssssssssssssss!
up, huge rip in the tyre. Really annoying. DP got home and tried to change the tyre, but I had bashed the alloy at a weird angle and have jammed the wheel on, so now will have to call out the AA.

SOOOOOOOOOO annoying.
Plus, oven is still not fixed, seal is broken, new seal came into the shop yesterday but its the other side of town so not sure when I'll get over to pick it up

Oh, and the shower broke this morning too.

There, thats my 3 bad things done and dusted!

Hope everyone is well. x

UD - house looks great. Is all the furniture in the photos yours? Or did they leave it behind?
LTH - I think DJ has impetigo in the exact same place as G. What did you put on it? Or do I have to go to the Drs...again with him?

Dragonhart · 27/11/2008 08:07

Hopeless at logging onto MN atm. Never seem to have much time as so disorganised! Seem to spend my time chasing my tail and always late. Hopefully it will get better soon...

Just had a quick catch up so sorry if I missed any big news but,

Wilkie- Congratulaitons Hope you are feeling ok, and that goes for all the preg women. x

UD- House looks gorgeous. Lovely garden for Z too. COngratulations.

Think someone was worried about talking (was it you Pink?). Ruth is not saying very many words but Luke wasn't now either. He got refered to speach therapist when he had his 2y check and by the time he got the appt (9months later!!) his speach was fine so they discharged him. Ruth says a handful of words but most are only understood by me. She seems to get by on a lot of grunting, pointing and afew signs! Can say hello clear as a bell though bizarely.

Sorry, mind has gone completly blank. Hi to everyone else. xxx

PS When did the SS have to be sent by? Was it 10th Dec?

Dragonhart · 27/11/2008 08:09

Oh no lizz. Why is it things never go wrong in ones! x

Wilkiepedia · 27/11/2008 12:31

DH - was only thinking about you the other day. Thanks for the congrats - bump is showing well and good already!

Lizz - sorry but I did snigger to myself at your post. Sounds like the type of thing I would do! Although I reversed our brand new 08 reg Peugeot into a post at work - DH not impressed

Well, told everyone at work yesterday - colleagues were lovely and congratulated, managers looked like they had eaten a shit sandwich - never mind eh? Planning on taking mat leave early May. I hate hate hate my job!!!!!

My mate had her scan yesterday and hinted at what the sex was in her text and now isn't answering her phone so I am going mad wanting to know what it is!!!! Impatient Wilkie

I have got my SS present, very pleased with it but need to get wrapping paper to wrap and send it!

BTW - Asda have some FAB wrapping paper for 16p per roll - it is thin and perfect for wrapping LOs presents so they can get into them easily. Wrapped all of J's presents last night - hadn't realised quite how much we had bought! Oops, never mind

Just called the AA.
Its £104 for them to just tow it to the nearest garage.

Then just called the dealership where we brought it, they can't recover it. But would charge £59 for first hours work, assuming the tyre is just new and not damaged more extensively. + the call out charge for the AA.

OMG.
DP is going to go mad.

Will call a few other local garages.
I have a bad sick feeling.

I'm never ever driving again.

Wilkie - at you impending 9 months maternity! (that goes to all of you pgers people actually!)

Wilkiepedia · 27/11/2008 15:58

Have a look in your local paper Lizz or on Yell.com - there will be a mobile mechanic somewhere nearby who will come to your house, I am sure of it, esp for something like that. I assume you have a spare tyre?
