EAH - there must be something in the water!

eandh · 29/01/2009 10:48

lol at the watery but thank God she has just crashed out whilst aquadrawing and screaming for biscuit biscuit biscuit (in ever increasing louder and pitchier tones)! I'm a mean mum and have just popped a cushion under her head and ablanket over her and leaving her there till 11.30 when we need to go and collect madam and obviously I can't hoover now

raisingrrrl · 29/01/2009 10:51

That's ok. Z keeps trying to attack me with his (empty) Sticklebrick box. I've just told him to Go Away and he is sat by my feet sobbing.

Wish he would go to sleep, but as he didn't wake up till gone half 8 and we've got people coming over in a bit I think it's unlikely!

eandh · 29/01/2009 10:56

oooo 8.30 sounds bliss (for the last 2 mornings I have had to wake Ellie up at 7.30 so why won't mini monster sleep past 5.40 ) at least other people can occupy him when they arrive at least its not raining today so I am thinking that welly boots and coats and they can go and play in the garden after lunch

raisingrrrl · 29/01/2009 10:57

Ooooo good plan - shove em out the back door (and lock it)

eandh · 29/01/2009 10:58

has he stopped sobbing yet? Is he still going to nursery now you are on maternity leave?

I can't wait till september when Hattie starts preschool as that is the thing that triggers these tantrums because she wants to stay and I end up carrying her out screaming and kicking much to the staffs amusement

eandh · 29/01/2009 10:59

mmmm hadnt thought about locking it and it doesnt matter if they get a bit chilly because they can go in the playhouse (and I could leave them some hot chocolate in there )

raisingrrrl · 29/01/2009 11:01

He still goes to nursery Mondays and Fridays, for now. We'll have to see how our finances look after a few weeks, and see if we can afford it!

A Thermos of hot chocolate and a plate of biscuits sounds like the way forward. In fact, you could put their tea out there too, and have a lovely relaxing afternoon!

eandh · 29/01/2009 11:02

right thats the plan and I'll give Ellie my mobile and she can call you if she starts complaining

raisingrrrl · 29/01/2009 11:04

Heh - I'll just put Z on the phone and he can ramble away about the Ninky Nonk and how Roxy bit him at nursery!

eandh · 29/01/2009 11:13

lmao

DH - The style code for the cream bunny we have at work is: H5684 and its £9.99 so now you can ring your nearest MC shop and ask if they have them in stock. The one I was looking at measured 20 tall when sitting, to its head (not incl. ears!) Hope this is the right one.

Don't suppose anyone knows where DJ has put his "woof" - manky dog which he constantly chews on and its completely rank. I have search our whole house and can't find it. He is sobbing for it lying in his cot. Oops.
He got caught about to bite someone at nursery again today. Another little boy grabbed something off of him so he lunged at him to bite his finger. Its getting quite bad. At home now, he will constantly be going for me, if I tell him off or try and restrain him from doing something he just tries to bite me. its like having a dog. I find myself jumping out of the way of him and his mouth. I have no clue what to do. Any ideas anyone?!
