Oooh, gin. DH had the pebbles on the bathroom floor in his loft apartment. VERY cool. Would love to have the sand or grass ones when we eventually can afford to do up our bathroom.
Tilly, wasn't me who asked, but am really excited for you. I am a bit that I can't get married again! (Just for the party you understand.)
TMAM - I think it's lovely that the kids did a collection like that. Apart from anything else, it means they're aware of what's going on around them and nobody is "embarrassed" by charity the way people are here.
Dying to hear what's going on over in France!
Scoot, no my love, you are most definitely not the only one. So glad DH's exams are finished. When does he get the results?
We have not used the dummy since I posted this morning. He fell asleep in his cot briefly a couple of times, but was really struggling. Have put him down in the pram now, since he's used to daytime sleeps in there and he's flat out. Totally exhausted, poor lamb. I put A in bed and despite using MmeJB's trick of putting the grobag on backwards, she still manages to wiggle out of most of it, repeatedly, until I lose the rag. I took it off and gave her a blanket, but she hasn't worked out that it's nicer to lie under the blanket, rather than on top of it.
Am going to replace beaten up bin (I must take a pic and post it. You'll get another giggle LG&T) with one of those segregated bins. I currently have an enormous waste bin, plastic bag for recycling, small cooked food waste caddy and a garden compost caddy. Since I'm not going to be able to replace the bin without DH finding out (I did consider it), I might as well rationalise the current kitchen waste situation.
