Now paint your face blue, and stick your tongue out at the world - end especially the half-wit-mid-life-crisis-lacking-common-sense-PMT-suffering-eejits we otherwise call men.

eandh, ratbunny, susie, UD - this one's for you

UD - what happens in the "cold iron test" i've not heard of that one before.

EAH - I have an appointment to see the Dr again on Monday to report back on how the gaviscon (that I haven't even got yet as I don't believe it is the cause) is working. DP has REALLY bad asthma, as does one of his brothers, and my sister had childhood asthma. I will make them test him for it properly. Dr was more concerned with his weight than anything else. IMO he is totally normal. He is about 1.5 stone, and fits into most of his clothes fine for his age. He is eating well etc. I am not sure she knows what she is talking about....

i really hate it when strikethroughs don't work properly you twat

Lizzz - from Wiki: "Iron, particularly Cold iron, was employed as a protective substance or charm against faeries. In Celtic Folklore, Fae are culturally held to hold an aversion to iron or even be harmed by the touch of iron." Here

I have been feeling very sorry for myself this morning - was feeling very nauseous and tired. Took Z out for lunch at his favourite cafe in town and he ate a massive plate of scrambled eggs and crumpets and a huge bowl of chocolate ice cream! He did the owner a drawing with the medium of wax crayons and smeary scrambled egg. He was thrilled! Just trying to get him to have a nap now so I can sleep too - housework be damned!

Dh has just MSN'd me to say he has to go to the Big Brother house today so he's going to be late.....

Wilkie - hope you're all settled in now. Say hi to Vino for us!

Ahem, er, UD - you don't really enjoy ironing do you? I can imagine you using this as an excuse not to do any!

What is you DH doing at the BB house? (name dropper!)

Hi Wilki - glad you are moved. What is it like so far? Hope its a billion times better than the last place, good luck with your unpacking.
