Hello - oops how embarassing - I was both watching and posting on the old thread - what a wally! think I can be excused tho as have nightmare few days (feel self absorbed post coming...)
Update on Dad - having come out of hospital and slowly starting to recover (although not able to have T as normal) he had specialist appt this week and now has to go back into hospital to have a bronchoscopy to establish what is going on in his lung as they suspect some form of blockage (so not out of the woods with him yet )
T - well, he has really been suffering with hayfever again, so Thursday he went to docs and we have allergy syrup and eye drops on repeat. Went to nursery - then that afternoon I get a call to say he has a couple of spots and since CP was going round nursery (first I'd heard of that) could we collect him and get him checked out (if docs confirm NOT CP then he could go back the next day) anywho - he went to docs and needless to say WE NOW HAVE THE CHICKEN POX (or cicken pops as T calls them!)
Oridnarily this would have all been taken in my stride, however I have been on an intensive project management course this week (Prince 2) and had an exam today and have had homework etc. so I couldn't take time out of work to take T to docs so was glad that DH has a flexible enough job to do that for me.
Oh and on top of all this -as my Mum has an auto-immune disease, and is on millions of drugs, CP could be v serious for her too.
Oh and did I mention that I haven't had the Chicken Pox either!?
Right - now that I have unloaded all of that.....how are all the other who have the CP? Panda - how is S doing now? He was quite poorly wasn't he?
BTK - hope your T is ok.
Chacha - good to hear from you and glad that you finally have some form of help on a day to day/ week to week basis - it makes all the difference.
Rodeo - hope you had a fab birthday.....30 is the new 20 and we will never grow up - so I say we will always have fun
Best go - thank you for reading this far - you are a patient lot
