Trying to orgaise my own tesco man for tomorrow, someone tell me what I need please

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 19:59

Pesha - yes, I did have a look at Buggy Snuggles for you my lovely, but there's only 2 left and they are both VERY girlie - sorry!

Actually - I am a bit and a bit as I've just had a text from my (ex) boss and she's decided I can't have anything at cost price now!!!!!!! So I won't be able to sell you the Sleeping Bags so cheaply - Sorry!!

I feel like such a tit. Sorry.

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 20:00

I'm making cheesy chips

Pesha · 06/02/2008 20:01

Avocado, pitta, cous cous, celery, potatoes, chicken, turkey mince for yummy turkey burgers, bananas, loo roll, nappies, cheese, salad veg, pears, dried apricots, garlic, chilli, chocolate, wine, chocolate, more wine.

That any good for you?!

runnyhabbit · 06/02/2008 20:02

potc fab news (although nothing new to us)
cd hope P is better now. Better out than in!
caz sorry things are rough with dh x Unfortunately I am the one that says horrible things very calmly
khin good to see you - rant away!

Well, tiler is coming at 7.45am tomorrow, so going to aim to get boys in nursery for 7.30am and after the tiler has been, then things can get plumbed in - yay!

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 20:04

LOL @ someone called "runnyhabit" telling me "better out than in" Ho are you little boys honey??

Thought Pesha's list was fab - may I add MORE wine and MORE chocolate .... ooooh and smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagels too - yum!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/02/2008 20:06

they are going to try to work with me to get my benefits etc sorted out too, and do everything they can to get me disability living allowance, so at the very least I can get some help once a week to do stuff that I'm normally too tired for.

StealthPolarBear · 06/02/2008 20:07

Lol pesha and dippy, thanks! Something to work from.
Do NOT need more wine, ahve enough left to float (or is it sink?) a battleship after the christening. DH's family are BIG tea drinkers
Well T is currently asleep on DH, doing the sniff-sniff-sigh thing, off to attempt a dreamfeed. WIll make use of your lists after that!

Pesha · 06/02/2008 20:07

Yak to the smoked salmon but the rest sounds good dippy!! Dont worry about the buggy snuggle, not sure I can really afford it anyway but cant resist a bargain so probably just as well!!

And your boss is the tit not you my dear!!

runnyhabbit · 06/02/2008 20:08

lol Dippy

pillock, thats good news about the help/benefits

weeonion · 06/02/2008 20:11

runnyhabbit · 06/02/2008 20:12

Just tried to bf W and he didn't want to know. Thought it might've been because he's been ill. He doesn't seem fussed on a ff either. His appetite isn't back to normal, but the cheekiness has def returned

Maybe he's just stopped milk as a drink?

Pesha · 06/02/2008 20:13

That is good news Pillock. DLA notoriously difficult to get but if you do that would be great help. My step dad had to go through all sorts of meetings and things to get his so if yoiu need any advice I can ask him. He had a very good friend who knew about such things so was able to help him know the right sort of thing to write on the forms iykwim. A supportive dr also a big help but ss and hv on your side should count for alot.

runnyhabbit · 06/02/2008 20:14

pesha - meant to say, I lol at N and the hosepipe. I have visions of my two rascals boys doing things like that

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 20:20

I used to process DLA forms, Pillock - wanna hand filling it in!!!?

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 20:22

OMGoodness - some I did in my pitiful employment history might actually be helpful to someone - !!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/02/2008 20:24

I am having no part in it, the 'welfare advisor' will be doing it!

OP posts:
weeonion · 06/02/2008 20:30

runny - where are the pics of your bathroom - i cant see them on yr profile!!

mammyjo · 06/02/2008 20:32

Dont worry about the sleeping bag CD, I was after a girly pink one anyway!! And as someone else said, its not you who is the tit! Really bad of your ex boss actually, get you into work by telling you can get things cheaply, get free labour from you then say you cant. Very bad.

I am going now, feel pissed off with dh who is coming down with man flu He has been in bed since half seven. Reckons he has the cold that F had, my throat is sore and I feel a bit crap too but as a female I just have to get on with it. FFS!

StealthPolarBear · 06/02/2008 20:34

why can tesco notfind "carrots"
sorry you're feeling ill mj, my DH is the same, with sleep as well. He told me he was tired on the day of T's christening, to which I pointed out I had been up since 5.30

Pesha · 06/02/2008 20:35

WO - I think you give him too much credit, I'm fairly sure he knew it wasnt a good thing!! Although it is the first naughty thing like that hes done in a long time, it used to be a hourly daily occurence

Runny - lets see how much loling your doing when they actually do do things like that!

NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 20:37

sneaked back on whilst dh busy elsewhere!
WO - now you are making me ! I actually think this is such a lovely thread - so much help and support - it's a pleasure to read! Very with your work - how useless of them is that! Also - that's about the third time in 24 hours you've mentioned being broody - we will all be watching closely and adding you to Octo's list
Pillock - that sounds really helpful of them - hope you get it!

Right have to go make chinese now - I really will see you all tomorrow!

weeonion · 06/02/2008 20:38

pesh - i remember opening a tap on an oil tanker full of molasses when i was little. i knew i shouldnt have but i was an awful one for doing things " just to see". i couldnt get it closed and ran off. the whole bloody thing drained over the yard. dad was FURIOUS and blamed other local kids. i didnt confess til i was about 19. my thoughts lie with nathan

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 20:39

I can see them - lovely!! Betcha can't wait to have it sort!
