NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 17:32

Gmm - that's awful - enforced shopping! How did you survive

mammyjo · 06/02/2008 17:38

GMM, hope C feels better soon. Lots of them seem to be poorly at the moment dont they. Hope things with dh are ok too xx

NL, bet those dresses from Monsoon are beautiful. I love that shop. Shame my salary doesnt let me shop there regularly!

Potc, so glad everything went well. Made me laugh that you sent them off with MN leaflets!! Did you really, or am I just damn gullible?!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 06/02/2008 17:40

no, I really did

I'm a MN Tsarina and had some leaflets and posters through from MNHQ, so I sent them and the HV off with some!

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 17:42

and why not - MN is an invaluable source of advice and support - and distraction from the ironing

Sexonlegs · 06/02/2008 18:02

POTC, what fab news! Silly buggers coming round in the first place.

KHIN, you sound well naffed off. Hope you are ok.

GMM, hope C is ok. Which shoopping centre did you wander round?

Hi everyone else. Sorry brain emptied.

Feeling pissed off with life today. Same old crap. Just fed up of running around like a blue arsed fly trying to do everything - as we all do
K really whingy this evening, which is not like her at all.

Sorry for the mini rant. x

cazboldy · 06/02/2008 18:11

glad to hear your good news Ellie - I would tell you mine, but I don't have any

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 18:36

{{{{{Caz}}}}} Praying for you - hoping you'll have some good and positive news of your own soon.

Told you that you had nothing to prove, POTC Even the "professionals" think you rock as a mummy!

Good to "see" you KHIN - I'll be looking for that rant tomorrow

Well P slept til 4pm ish until she started screaming and when I went into her room she had vomited the biggest EVER vomit I have ever seen in my entire life - It was truly spectacular and it was EVERYWHERE!!!! I didn't know where to start ..... I showered her down, put her clothes / bedding in the wash (I was tempted to bin them tbh) and she now seems heaps happier than she has been in AGES - Obviously what she needed Back to being the P I know and love - hopefully it will last and this was just a one off!!!?

Feel tired and ill, but "getting there" ......

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 18:39

Ooooooh, yes - worked in the Baby Shop this morning and I have two 2.5 tog Green Baby Sleeping Bags on stand-by for whoever wants them ..... RRP £34; Trade Price £17.50 ... so a bit of a bargain. Email me captain_dippy "at" yahoo "dot" co "dot" uk .... Frist come, First Served .....

I got your Doidy Cup POTC - last one in the shop. A yellow one.

Was there anything else?? I am sure there was - Remind me!!

cazboldy · 06/02/2008 18:42

things with me and dh not good

we had a bit of a blip about 5 years ago, but really felt we were ok since then. he is just so childish. he can't talk about anything rationally. he sulks and he is very selfish. I love him so much, but have to admit today I have sat here, and wondered why, and also wished that I didn't

StealthPolarBear · 06/02/2008 18:44

caz you sound fed up
Hope you can work things out

StealthPolarBear · 06/02/2008 18:45

Were you arguing about the house situation? Really hope you get back to normal soon, arguing is alays horrible

NorthernLurker · 06/02/2008 18:50

Oh Caz I'm so sorry to hear that - hope things get better.

Dh needs the pc tonight and I have to go bath screechy so see you tomorrow!

cazboldy · 06/02/2008 18:51

it doesn't even get as far as an argument - he just doesn't talk about things......just says the odd nasty comment when I am trying to talk to him

I think it his how controlled he is that hurts.... if he was saying the same things in the heat of an argument I could console myself with the thought that at least they were said in anger iyswim??

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 18:52

Oh Caz - this is tough - For you. For him. For your precious children. His attitude just sounds like a typical man to me tbh. Sending {{{{hugs}}} xxxx

StealthPolarBear · 06/02/2008 18:53

what does he say when you tell him how much his comments upset you?

CaptainDippy · 06/02/2008 18:56

My DH is like that too - so calm and rational, even when saying horrid things. xxxx

cazboldy · 06/02/2008 19:08

I don't have to tell him he can see but he just think I am over reacting - I actually think I am one of the least hysterical people I know!

anyway all you lot are making me feel much better, so thanks, it is much appreciated x
