lol I love my bugaboo but I am selling it next week!

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 27/01/2008 19:28

LOL sputnik, loving gw gw - v welsh!

DD is usually ok, just having one of those days that the second i left her sight she cried, but I was wondering round the flat.

I haven't won one of those play nests yet andie. do you think i'd get much use of of it? will it be a hazard once she starts crawling?

HellHathNoFury · 27/01/2008 19:29

I think it would take the promise of the equivalent for me to have sex with DH right now. I am just sooo tiirrreeeddddd

CalicoHollyFlint · 27/01/2008 19:30

Someone on here has a Gecko for £200. I prob would only use it for a couple of months, it is a bit big for me, but I really want to try it for a while! I am a true hun!

How's the eye?

HellHathNoFury · 27/01/2008 19:31

The eye is 1/4 red, 1/4 yellow and half normal but it doesn't hurt anymore. People do keep looking at me very oddly though and really staring. I tell them that DH beats me

thisisRialifebaby · 27/01/2008 19:33

did I say baggins has no teeth?

HellHathNoFury · 27/01/2008 19:33

I am selling my boo just cos it takes up so much space and I just don't use it enough to warrant having such a big expensive pram. Would rather have a cheaper pram (which I just got, a mclaren xlr) and the money in my pocket tbh.

It's pretty much as new, (like I say, never use it lol) so am hoping for a good price on ebay. Still got the box etc.

CalicoHollyFlint · 27/01/2008 19:34

ROFL, glad it is getting better!

thisisRialifebaby · 27/01/2008 19:43

bumper I got one of those nest things the other day on ebay for almost nothing, but I was very lucky cos they've been selling for loads. I'll let you know how it goes. baggins loves his baby walker though (even when ds2 thinks it might be fun to play express trains)

Fury, are we both going to be sitting in shades next week to hide our mangey eyes? I looked a right ponce going round sainsbos in my shades today

HellHathNoFury · 27/01/2008 19:54

hahaha Bumper we can say we are a domestic violence support group!

I tried wearing shades but because I could hardly see anyway I just thought sod it let them stare!

Are you any better now?

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 27/01/2008 20:15

Yes I'm fine now thanks

Ria glad you had a good time yesterday. When you sit and think about these social occasions it's easy to dread them, but you'll usually have a good time in the end.

thisisRialifebaby · 27/01/2008 20:18

I made potato & parsnips with cheese, and lamb with potato, sweet potato, carrot & tomato puree. baggins now can't sleep cos he has tummy ache.

good luck with nursery Jammy.

I'm off for an early night with DH & Stephen Fry, then early to bed if baggins will play ball.

Night all. Rx

Mine was too tired to eat as I left it too long, so I'll probably get woken up a zillion times tonight.
It's so hard to get the timing right sometimes, I have to get more organised.

Sputnik · 27/01/2008 20:36

Do you have a king-sized bed Ria?

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 27/01/2008 20:43

holly sex for a pram no way
sex for this bring it on

FairyFay · 27/01/2008 20:46

Hello everyone, gosh you ahve been chatty . We went to Salisbury yesterday to see a friend's first photography exhibition and then I did an NCT sale today and have got rid of a whole load of junk. We also went out for a chinese tonight, so I am stuffed and totally knackered. I have been talked into a quick wii game before bed though so this is just a flying visit to say hello, and hope you all had good weekends.

Oh and welcome newbies

CalicoHollyFlint · 27/01/2008 20:53

I'd rather have the pram andie!

I think I need to get a life!

Hi and bye fairy, well done for doing the NCT sale. I keep meaning to do them, but they come and go and I still haven't got round to it!

Hello sputnik, bumper and ria as well x

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 27/01/2008 20:56

holly tut tut ladies need diamonds well that's what I tell dh ds1+2.. and handbags and shoes

hi fairy are u around this week could always come over your way on wed after swimming if you'd like

milkyJammy · 27/01/2008 21:03

Evening all. Thanks for all the good wishes for nursery tomorrow. I've just spent 2 hours labelling clothes and stuff. But I just couldn't be arsed to label the socks, even though logically they're probably the most likely thing to become separated from her. She's only going in for and hour and a half or so tomorrow. And they don't want the parents to stay. DH will go to work (5 mins from the nursery) but there's not enough time for me to go anywhere, so if it's nice I go for a healthy walk by the river, if it's wet I sit in the car with a book. She's in for the day on Tuesday and DH will take her/pick her up, so i get the day to myself . So I'm having a haircut, sorting out my wardrobe ready for work the following week, and might even go to the pictures!

Bumper/Fury - your eyes sound delightful. I'll be the odd one out next weekend unless I manage to sneak in a little accident. perhaps i'll go pick a fight in the local pub on Friday night ??

milkyJammy · 27/01/2008 21:08

Oh and I was pretty p*ssed off after all the labelling as the iron on labels didn't work so i had to sew them on, not my forte . And then I spilt some hot chocolate on the carpet , so ran to the utility room to get an old tea towel, and knocked over a jam jar which smashed on the floor and the pieces sprayed everywhere right across the utility room and kitchen floors , so I had to sweep them . So I'm not sitting here eating chocolate liquers

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 27/01/2008 21:12

Good luck tomorrow jammy! Sounds like you are spoiling for an accident! That might have tipped me over the edge!

Right, I'm off, my eyes hurt (too much ebaying ).

FairyFay · 27/01/2008 21:13

Mmm, diamonds for me too andiem. Wednesday would be great. Why don't you come here for lunch? I can text you my address.

milkyJammy · 27/01/2008 21:13

I am of course now eating chocolates, not not eating them
