LittleMissNorty · 02/02/2008 21:58

Have to agree with Foxy - done Clapham Junction pissed may times and that gap is HUGE....lost a shoe down it once but luckily wasn't attached to my leg at the time....The thought of putting 3 LOs on the train and then a buggy.....with that gap!!

Can't you bus it Foxy...or is that just as bad?

Not only have man city been on TV every week for the past 3 weeks (and AGAIN next week) the farkin rugby has started again!!!

Is your DH Welsh FF? Mine celebrated too - but only cos he supports Scotland (and anyone playing England)

Right off to catch up on sleep.....night all x

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 03/02/2008 08:37

are you all having a rl????? ds1 and dh wiing ds2 asleep

foxythesnowman · 03/02/2008 15:24

God No!

Am eating biscuits, for a change! We have had a 'creative day' today, so not gone anywhere. And have been tidying up. Sort of. A bit. Pretending to at least.

Still feeling crap.

How is your weekend going Andie?

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 03/02/2008 15:27

quiet foxy but am tired as lo was up 3 times last night thought he had reduced night time feeds but no upped them again now

hmm wonder if we have any biscuits

sorry you're still feeling poorly

foxythesnowman · 03/02/2008 15:30

hmm, I think my lo is using me as a dummy during the night, rather than feeding. She seems to have forgotten how to suck her thumb which is rather annoying. But I can't complain if I can't be arsed to set her straight and get her sleeping in her cot

Wonder if they'll notice if I sneak off back to bed?

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 03/02/2008 15:33

mine is feeding and goes back in the cot straight away and back to sleep but I was hoping that all the stomach filling stodge nourishing food would fill him up

milkyJammy · 03/02/2008 16:18

Still feeling crap here too, Foxy. And just took C to out of ours doc as she was getting worse and with increasing temp. But they say nothing to worry about, just let her fight the infection. Phew!

milkyJammy · 03/02/2008 16:21

We had 3 feeds last night. Mostly when she wakes she is properly feeding, but admit I sometimes let her carry on a bit for comfort as it's the easy way tp get back to sleep

Sputnik · 03/02/2008 17:04

Well we had quite a nice time yesterday, but the weather was not good so no walk along the beach (plus my poor SIL has a broken ankle....)

But anyway Baby Sputnik has a cold and has taken to waking in the night and crying inconsolably for about an hour. He's done it the last 4 nights or so, but last night he did it at bedtime, in the middle of the night, then again at crack of dawn so that was us up for the day

A large dose of paracetamol is going to be preventively deployed tonight.

Luckily I managed to sleep a bit during the day today.

Sputnik · 03/02/2008 17:17

Just been catching up, sorry to hear you were in hospital LMN, hope you're feeling better and the can get it sorted soon.

foxythesnowman · 03/02/2008 17:24

How was your birthday Sputnik?

Apart from the broken nights sleep, of course.

Sputnik · 03/02/2008 17:38

Birthdays, what's a birthday: here one day, gone the next, as Eyeore said.

It was ok

andiemustlosehalfastonemore · 03/02/2008 17:39

sputnik sounds like you had a rough night poor baby sputnik hope you had a good birthday

jammy hope c is better soon too

Sputnik · 03/02/2008 17:47

Trouble with my birthday, is a) it's in february and b) it's also DH's birthday. We should really have an extra "official" birthday in July or something

milkyJammy · 03/02/2008 17:51

Poor baby Sputnik. And sorry your's and your DH's birthday ended with night wakings.

Sputnik · 03/02/2008 17:55

Wasn't as bad as the birthday 2 years ago when DD threw up all over our bed all night. I can laugh about it now

Are you feeling better today Jammy?

milkyJammy · 03/02/2008 18:04

A bit thanks Sputnik. My throat and nose and chest actually feel worse but my temperature is back to normal, I'm not feeling hot & cold simultaneously any more, and all in all I'm rather perkier. Have been worrying about C most of the day though, as her temp kept edging up despite Calpol, and she was sounding chesty. But we got her to a doc who said her chest is clear and while high the temp was OK and that the British shouldn't be so obsessed about temperatures anyway. So she's OK, just rather tired as with all the coughing she's not been able to nap really during the day. Hopefully exhaustion will kick in though come bedtime.

annobal · 03/02/2008 18:38

Evening all. Just put DCs to bed - DS3 is wailing but is overtired so will just leave him for a few minutes, DS2 is pretending he needs to poo and DS1 asleep already. Thankfully DH is with them...

Hi Sputnik Happy Birthday

Hope you have a good night Jammy. It's horrible looking after kids when you're ill .

Is Holly around? I want to buy something from vertbaudet...

Sputnik · 03/02/2008 20:00

It's quiet tonight...

Hi Annobal, how's the getting ready to leave going?

milkyJammy · 03/02/2008 20:21

Am I too late? Anyone still here or has everyone gone away?

LittleMissNorty · 03/02/2008 20:22

I'm here for a little while Jammy......ready for work tomorrow? How are you both feeling? Any better?
