Hamishsmummy · 29/12/2007 21:09

And I have a very snotty baby. Swapsies?

sputnik · 29/12/2007 21:12

We are all so knackered we didn't even notice we needed a new thread.
Hamishsmummy, we have both here so not much good for you

thisisRialifebaby · 29/12/2007 21:13

andiem, hope you and the dcs are ok. glad you know about the insurance thing too because not all companies would tell you.

sorry to depress you jammy but we have separation issues with DS2 and he's 4 next week, speaking of which I must take him back to bed...

sputnik · 29/12/2007 21:16

Jammy, just seen your latest photos, what a sweetie. Oh and I hugged you on FB by mistake, not that I don't want to hug you or anything, just thought I was doing something else .

BTW, apologies to everyone I've ignored on Facebook for the last month, I hardly ever open it, just to look at everyone's pics really.

sputnik · 29/12/2007 21:20

Ooh I like the new name. Very hard-hitting

We sort of still have seperation issues with DD too. She got very anxious as we were getting ready to leave my parent's, and wouldn't let me out of her sight. She's ok going to school though, and actually asked to stay overnight with ILs, so not too bad.

FairyFay · 29/12/2007 21:25

Phew, glad everyobe found it, I wasn't allowed to post the new link as it kept saying the thread was full [sob]

OP posts:
FairyFay · 29/12/2007 21:48

BTW Bumper, I'm very impressed at your starting a novel.

Evening!
Andiem thats awful about your accident.
I wonder if you could call your local Police and tell them that you were involved in an accident and you think the woman was on the phone? If they have the resources, they may be able to look at her phone if you know the time the accident happened??
My friend got stopped by the Police after scratching her excema behind her ear and the Officer asked to look at her phone as he was adament that she had been on it, but after looking it was obvious that she hadnt been. Only an idea...

Ohh Bumper that sounds interesting - are you typing as you "think" or do you have a plan?

Evening all

Andiem - glad you and DCs are OK...what a scare ...sounds like you won't have any trouble proving liability...what a stupid cow ....will you get a hire car? Last time I had a prang, I got one delivered the following morning

Ria - love the name!

Fury...good luck tomorrow in getting the watch sorted....

Hello Fairy / MHC / everyone else just back from Xmas....

Blimey, a novel in a month.....impressive

LittleMissNorty · 29/12/2007 22:20

DD had a bath with daddy tonight and when I lifted her out, she'd done a poo - DH LEPT out the bath.....it was SO funny...even DD giggled

sputnik · 29/12/2007 22:20

I think Bumper should write about this woman that gets pg then goes on an internet chat forum, and all the amazing people she meets there etc etc

justbeme · 29/12/2007 22:22

Lol Norty!!!!

LittleMissNorty · 29/12/2007 22:23

He was absolutely BESIDE himself....its just as well he didn't realise when she was doing it, he would've abandoned her!

I'm still giggling about it now....first time she's ever done it!

FairyFay · 29/12/2007 22:24

Oooh yes, can we all be in it bumper pleeeeeease....

OP posts:
sputnik · 29/12/2007 22:26

We had an accident (totally other persons fault, they just drove into us head on) when I was pg with DD and I was 6 weeks without a car, really hard where we live. I hope things are better in the UK. These things can really shake you up even if no one is hurt, hope you are feeling ok Andiem.

LMN, just saw your pics on FB too, I love that reindeer top. Must post obligatory pics of baby in paper hat myself soon

LittleMissNorty · 29/12/2007 22:31

Oh yes sputnik....would love to see some updated photos of your DCs.

Blimey Fury, your pics are lovely...hasn't DS grown!

Any Jammy, DDs teddy was very sweet.

Insurance companies in UK are very quick off the mark. I had very slight damage to my car and a personal injury claim for my passenger (still waiting to go to court) and we had solicitors / doctors / hire companies / you name it crawling over us like flies - a huge money making business ....and it turned out the stupid fucking woman who hit me wasn't insured "due to an oversight".....as I said to her solicitor, "Lack of insurance isn't an oversight, its a criminal offence"

sorry, rant over....

LittleMissNorty · 29/12/2007 22:32

Sorry meant to saw Aww Jammy, DD and her teddy were very sweet

FairyFay · 29/12/2007 22:36

I really had better go to bed now, nighteee night everyone

OP posts:
thisisRialifebaby · 29/12/2007 23:13

LOL norty. Poor DH will be scarred for life. Tee Hee.

Am I allowed a little chuckle at your DM too mhc? In a nice way of course. That's just the sort of thing my DM (also parent to 3 girls) would say.

What have I missed about bumpers novel? I keep starting one, but feel catering maybe isn't funny unless you're there at the time, and also there's all those damned programmes on the tv that "steal" my ideas (hotel babylon, hotel inspector, kitchen nightmares, midsomer murders...)

DS2 still not asleep. We have nursery stress too, and going outside to the tumble drier in the garage...

thisisRialifebaby · 29/12/2007 23:40

Just had a peep on FB. It looks like all the LOs had a fab time at christmas.

I SO wanted to post the photo of my DF asleep in the chair after lunch cuddle a heated xmas robin, but didn't dare...

Night allx

thisisRialifebaby · 29/12/2007 23:44

Ha. Found bumpers post. Good luck with that, but no stealing our lives for plot lines

Bumper you are writing a book in a bloody month?!
Well done... I have a hard time writing a shopping list in 2 weeks.

Do you have a publisher?

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 30/12/2007 10:30

Gah, I thought you had all buggered off last night!

Fury, I was going to write it in a month see here but it would have been too difficult with dd. but the idea is you just write and don't edit for a month. you can redraft once it's it written and a shite fist draft is better than no first draft. anyway i've started in anger but it'll take more than a month. i'm sure i shall be using mnet for inspiration

i haven't even thought about a publisher yet, i mean it'll probably be a pile of crap, but I'll do the research later if if comes to that.
