Impressed Bumper, good luck with it. So is everyone full of big plans for 2008?

Scary stuff Andiem. Hope insurance comes through for you.

Have put some BLW photos on profile. Off to add a couple Xmas shots too.

Fabbo T, looks like it's going well. I love the one with the banana, she looks like a right cheeky money!

Blw going well here too, though i'm pretty hacked off with all the extra cleaning and washing! Can i just exclusively bf dd until she is old enough to sit politely and use a knife and fork?

Yep suddenly bf seems soooo easy - never thought I'd say that! BTW any idea how to get pumpkin stains out of a white T shirt?

Yep MHC. Tried putting it in the sun but only seems to work for the poo stained nappies. Maybe because I washed it first, I have 'set' the stains? Aren't banana poo nappies the wierdest things - all those little black threads, like worms. Yuk!!!

Hi Derlor! How's it hanging?

Not PG but DH is hoping I'll chuck out the pill soon...

Report
derlorfeelsabout90 · 30/12/2007 13:54

oh hello my lovely
PMSL at your DH - another one so soon?
I on the other hand am trying to persuade my DH to go for the smip - he's "not even discussing it!"

Report
derlorfeelsabout90 · 30/12/2007 13:55

oops snip - obviously (don't think they do the smip here!!)

This is my first log-in of the day as I've been dutifully cleaning the fridge & freezer while DH slept in until 11.30, because he's "tired". Awwww. That would be because he stays up until 2am watching TV "warching" the baby so I can get some sleep! And he wonders why our boys are such awful sleepers (DS2 was still awake glowering at me at 1am last night...)

hi derlor!

thisisRialifebaby · 30/12/2007 13:57

bugger my typing.

OOh, thinking about new babies... could do I suppose, but I'm not telling my DM!

Hi Ria {{{{waves}}}}} it's been TOO long - i've missed you x
who is DM?

derlorfeelsabout90 · 30/12/2007 14:02

i am trying to lose a stone starting from today - how long do you think it'll take me? anyone want to help/join in?

thisisRialifebaby · 30/12/2007 14:08

my mum, she is SCARY. Also she has pointed out her "baby pics" frame is full, poor baggins is on his own on the shelf underneath!

Me & DH are starting on Weds, maybe Thurs, so I'll join in then. Though I have run out of xmas chocs... DH lost a stone in a week before xmas. Git. I would like to lose 2 before my b'day in March. I HATE diets.#

It's quite touching to have been missed. I have missed being here, I've put on loads of weight because I've been eating instead of typing!

DH is going to hoover, think I might head for the bath. Looks like another day where we don't make it for our healthy walk!

derlorfeelsabout90 · 30/12/2007 14:14

don't be scared of your mum - if you want another baby then do what is right for you and your wee family not your mum!
I am just lazy with losing weight TBH i only have a stone to lose so shouldn't exactly be difficult - if only there was no chocolate or crisps in the world..............i'd be about 6 stone! LOL
We used to live in Oz and the chocolate and crisps there are rank - i have never been so gloriously slim in my life! - then i came home.....

Well I thought it was very quiet on the thread today - and then hours later I found this new one!

Good luck with the book Bumper
at poo in the bath (though prob not as funny if I was in the bath at the time)

Got a real glow of achievement going on at the moment - we cleared out the cupboard under the stairs today, all the DIY stuff. Got 2 bin bags of rubbish to go to the tip plus a huge box load of stuff to put on freecycle. And even though DH got 2 tool sets and some odd tools and a big box of screws, nails etc from his DPs for Xmas, we now have plenty of room for everything, and probably have room to give the hoover a proper home instead of it loitering in the hallway with me tripping over it everytime I go out

And def NOT too old at 33 or 34 - I had DD (my first) at 36 and could well be 38 or 39 before having another.

Oh and thanks for all the nice messages about DD looking cute. She's out with DH at the moment, so I could finish tidying the cupboard and then have a bath in peace. She's fine going out with him without me, it's just when I go away from her she gets upset - today she wasn't happy with me being busy doing something else, even crying when DH brought her through to watch me (though that stopped if I picked her up).

We finally got out of the house and went for a walk on Filey beach. Nice, but the kids moaned.

DS1 now watching Rolf Harris paint like Beatrix Potter. He feels a spiritual connectiob having been born in Kendal.

My big sister was seriously fat when she lived in Oz, think it might bwe the wine...

My middle sister said I had another 10-15 years to have more babies (her DH doesn't want more than two, she would have millions!) So not too old at 35, that might be when we start thibking, but DH will be 47 then. Unless I get a younger model?

Hi

bugger!
I'm in Delor's camp - too much chatting to catch up on so I'm gatecrashing!!

Did see that someone has got a diamond - so congrats - but I can't remember who! Sorry!

And Bumper is writing a book! Brill! Would love to do something like that - but a really dirty smutty one - for a laugh!!

Oh and I am 33 and just had my first baby - obviously - as you all know! So not too old at all!

We had all been really ill with the flu -lo included! It's been awful! Dh has had proper man flu so has been totally out of action.
It has dawned on me that mummies don't get 'sick leave' arghh - it's been tough!

Oh and I am trying to lose 1.5 stone asap! Am pissed off tho as I've been way too sick to go to the gym or ride my horse so I can feel myself getting fatter by the day.

Will be going back to work 4 days a week as of Thursday and nothing fits me!!!! Hoping to be able to nip into the gym for 1 hour a day tho while lo is in nursery!? Thats the plan anyhow!??
